Takealot Samsung galaxy s21fe 128gb dual sim 5g olive + tab a7 lite wifi tablet

I bought Samsung Galaxy S21FE 128GB Dual Sim 5G Olive + Tab A7 Lite Wifi Tablet, in March 2022 but only started using them in October 2022. Then in November it started giving problems; it was overheating and the battery life was very low.

I called in and the driver came and insisted he must take both the phone and Tab though I was very clear that the only device that has a problem is Samsung Galaxy S21FE. The supplier called me to let me know that my phone has been fixed and I should expect it in 48hrs from Takelot, but to my surprise I waited for more than 3 weeks until I decided to call in just to find out when I will get my delivery back.

On the 21st of December I got home after work only to find out the delivery made is Samsung Galaxy S21FE without Tab, I called in immediately, I have been hearing the same thing that my matter has been escalated but I do not get any feedback from Takealot only when I calls in using my own money then your consultant will stick to escalation.

The last communication I got was that my Tab has been delivered 3 streets away from my house on the 04Th of January and it is under investigation.

This is a matter of urgency because I do not owe you at all, all I need is the Tab back or you can come fetch your phone because I have not even used it since it came back from repairs and refund me.

You are not taking full responsibility for your mistake , I need my refund and ask your driver to come fetch the phone because your useless consultants do not know what they are doing.

Takealot didn't receive my Voucher.

I have applied for my vouchers last week on the 24th of January and the last four vouchers on the 25th from Takealot but up to this far I haven't received it, I have tried to reach to their customer care unfortunately my query hasn't been resolved. I have order numbers to prove my statement. I usually receive my vouchers via my personal email address mahlatse.[protected]@gmail.com

Takealot Refund finance department

When it comes to guaranteeing the refunding of an item back into a customer's bank account, it seems that somewhere between TakeALot's finance department and the execution of the refund itself, TakeALot completely fails to uphold its promise to customers. After TakeALot confirmed the receipt of the fridge I had returned, I was given the option to have my refund returned to my bank account from which the payment was originally made. I was asked to provide the same banking details, which I did. The funds would take 3-5 working days to clear. After 6 days and no cleared funds or any indication of pending transactions, TakeALot then told me that they had incorrectly noted that the funds were credited to my TakeALot account. I was then asked to provide my banking details again and to wait another 3-5 working days. 5 days later nothing had cleared. After various follow ups, I was asked to wait 24 hours for their finance department's response. The next day I was told that the EFT had been returned as rejected by my bank account and I had to provide TakeALot with an alternative bank account number. (I am still unsure why TakeALot wasn't able to EFT my account - I receive funds perfectly fine with the same bank account number). Nevertheless, I provided them with my sister's bank account number.

4 days later and TakeAlot have informed me that they have processes the payment to the alternative bank account number I provided. However, the bank account number they provide as confirmation is one that I've never seen before.

After now spending close to R350 in calls to TakeALot, I am at a loss.

I would have gained interest by now had the funds for the fridge been in an interest bearing account all this time, but I have received nothing but lost time, airtime, and - R5045 of a fridge.

As a former customer of TakeAlot, I will no longer be using their services. Amazon it is.

Desired outcome: Refund my money for the returned item once and for all.

Takealot Service delivery, unhelp staff, unethical conduct, and ineffective process

I hereby make this formal complaint against Takealot, I had an order that was promised to be delivered by the 26th of January however that the delivery date was missed as my parcel was mistakenly sent to the wrong collection point. I received communication from takealot notifying me of the mishap and they will send it to the correct collection point within two to three days. I proceeded to go to the collection point in Klerksdorp where my package had been delivered and confirmed with the staff at the Klerksdorp collection point that my package is there however; they are refusing to hand over my packages because of their process and because I have not yet received my QR code for the collection, so my delivery date has completely been missed. Furthermore to this complaint, takealot has also returned one of my items and refunded me without me even Receiving & inspecting the item stating that there was stock unavailable however that same item is now fully available to be purchased on their website at a higher premium in fact it is R100 and more expensive right now than when I purchased it which I feel is a definite breach of the consumer act and they care not treating their customers fairly – it is unethical business practice

Go look on email [protected]@gmail.com how many mails vedios end sms pics I sent about this and still no joy and proper responce. If u phone it is as no one know or care just whant u offthe phone, say they will come back but newa do. Britney. H did come back say yes at wearhouse they must just finish what they must do but a month later pand still no refund or anything, please go follow my mail trial please its shocking the bad service,

Takealot Return Request ( MRRN-MVOPR-A9P7)( Italian Foldable Bistro Table and 2 Chairs - Set of 3)

I purchased an outdoor patio set from Takealot in March 2022. Order [protected]. After about 8 months I noticed two small areas of rust developing on the table surface. As this was an outdoor set I was unhappy and returned the bistro set to Takealot. I was told that I could return it due to rust and the set was sent back to me. A previously immaculate bistro set except for the rust, was turned to me with paint scratched off ALL OVER the chairs and table. Deep scratches right down to the raw metal underneath. Now Takealot are refusing to take responsibility for the fact that THEY damaged the set and expect me to accept it as is.

Takealot Hisense LCD Smart tv

I bought a Hisense LCD Smart TV from takealot. It was delivered while I was on vacation, as soon as I get back checked the TV only to find that It does not work and it's cracked on LCD on top corner. Then I contacted customer service and told them my problem and even sent them proof that I was on vacation... They came and collected the tv and did checks and told me that my return was rejected...

They will send the TV back to me, what am I supposed to do with TV that does not work.

Worst of all the tv is now in worst condition..

Please help me with way forward cos am thinking of even involving my lawyers in this matter. I can't loose R14000 just like that.

Takealot I want a new phone and to be compensated for all my time phoning each day to find out what is happening and got no response

Good day

I've tried numerous avenues trying to get hold of any sort of management to sort out a problem I am having regarding a item that needs to be returned to me... I've been told by agents that there is no management or team leaders available, how is this even possible do they not have any supervision as agents and for when problems occurs.. I purshased a cellphone from takealot and recieved it in 2days which was great. A week later I was experiencing someone fault with the phone and returned it so a technician could look at it to see if anything was wrong with it, within a few days they concluded and said nothing was wrong so my return was declined which I accepted and awaited for my phone to be returned to me, It's been a month and a half and I have yet to recieved my product back which I've paid for... I've phoned in numerous of times and have spoke to approximately 13 consultants and yet no one can tell me when I would recieve my phone back all I've been told is that they would escalate my query but nothing has come from it, one agent has even switched the phone off in my ear... Its ridiculous that I have to go through so many avenues just to get something back that belongs to me I don't even know who to speak to anymore u feel like I've been robbed... Takealot Christmas gift

I have been a customer for a very long time I am absolutely shocked with the service and will tell everyone I know not to use takelalot. We bought my son an fornite hoodie for christmas the hoody is to small so we sent it back and asked them to please send a bigger size the refused said 30 days passed. This is shocking it was a xmas gift and we were out of town he just needs a bigger size what must I do with it now, the child was in tears as he now lost a xmas gift. Ref mrrn-qbpzm-njwb. Takealot eBooks Reader not working

I bought a few eBooks a couple of years ago on Takealot. I tried accessing the Takelot eReader on my phone, but the app is no longer available. Where am I able to access my books please? I can’t provide you with a date or time, as this enquiry doesn’t necessitate it. I tried opening the eReader, but it says it is no longer available in the App store. So please tell me which other app I can use if not the Takealot eReader to access the books I bought. If you require more information, tell me what you need from me, instead of referring me to a general requirement of how to write a complaint, which is unhelpful and a waste of time.

Takealot Delivery and the fact you have too much automation and no consultants

At 08:00 today I have sent the first email advising due to rain and load shedding my intercom and gate are not working! Please inform/advise/instruct driver to hoot as I am in the house and can not see or hear him.

Takealot Incorrect product delivered

Purchased a concrete mixer but was delivered a HDMI video capture.

I have requested to return the item which the gladly will do so.

The desired outcome should be to replace the item as I wish to use it to mix concrete, upon going through the approval steps the desired outcome changes to rerun to my account.

I have made several queries around the reason given is that item is not available anymore from the supplier the strange thing is that the day I purchased the item suddenly the app changed and showed a different supplier at 10 times the price, hmmm suspicious.

As well as the item was available when I purchased it and therefore is not my problem that the item was shipped incorrectly, we all pay for mistakes in life this is one takealot need to fund.

I hope this reaches someone that is amicable and willing to reason to outcome and consider the future.

Thanks you if not resolved will need to take this further.

I have returned a product that was defective and have spoken to 5 service desk personal that keep passing the buck and not helping me.
I have called several times and emailed them and all I get is awaiting accessories
I explained I didn't get them as the packaged only had my item and no usb cable

Takealot Reckless driving and subsequent car accident

On 22 December around 9:30 whilst on route to the airport a Takealot driver in a bakkie skipped a red light and caused a serious collision. My elderly mom’s car was written off and we still have whiplash, chest bruising and anxiety about the accident.

Now she has no car to get around, has worse back and neck pain and has to buy a new car - do you think pensioners can afford this in our current economy? I am her only child and have a family of my own to support.

Desired outcome: 1. Provide her with a loan car until she has her own2. Investigate whether your company bakkie’s brakes actually failed or not since that was the ‘story’ your driver gave to the police

Takealot Vacuum cleaner hoover and airfryer

This December I bought two things from takealot and both I am extremely disappointed with. The adverised product did not arrive as expected. My airfryer has a huge dent on and the vacuum cleaner is extremely small! As all consumers are facing difficulties financially you would expect if you do purchase a product it will be worth while especially from a big company as takealot. Will not be using this again and hoping Amazon will be in Cape Town as I would rather then support them.

Takealot Full refund not received - mrrn-27aje-yez5

I ordered a sofa from Takealot on Saturday, 17th December 2022 and paid R4,199 for the item (which included a R200) delivery fee. I tried to cancel the order online on the same day and received a response from Monica B stating that I could not cancel my order at that stage since the order was being packaged at the warehouse. I called the Call Centre on Monday, 19th December 2022 and spoke to Chezray, who also stated that I could not cancel my order and that I needed to call Takealot when I received a delivery confirmation sms. Both Chezray and Monica confirmed their assertions via email to me. I, however, never received a delivery confirmation sms and then received a call from a lady at 11:28 on Tuesday, 20th December 2022 asking if I was at home and that the delivery vehicle was at my home address. When I asked her why I did not receive a delivery confirmation sms, she stated that they had the incorrect number for me and that the delivery confirmation address was sent to the incorrect number. When I asked her how she was calling me on my cellphone number if she had the incorrect cellphone number, she did not really answer me.

I asked her to cancel my order, but when I received my refund, I was only refunded for the sofa (R3,999) and not the R200 delivery fee. I feel it is extremely unfair that I was charged for the delivery fee despite my best efforts to get the delivery cancelled before the sofa was loaded onto the delivery vehicle. I have the email trails of all the conversations I've had with the Takealot consultants trying to get the delivery cancelled before the sofa was loaded onto the delivery vehicle.

Therefore, I would appreciate it if Takelot will refund my R200 for the delivery fee as well. I feel that I had done everything in my power to stop the delivery from happening and should, therefore, not be charged the R200 delivery fee.

Please assist as a matter of urgency.

Takealot Takealot service and product

Good day ,

I hope that you are well!

I purchased a TV through takealot and it was delivered on the 30th November 2022.On the 18th December we watched a movie and the screen went white and turned black. The TV is just showing the black screen.

The TV is mounted to the wall so it couldn't have fell down and got damaged!

Our town doesn't have power surge as there was cable theft in the area before the 30th November so we are connected directly to the mine electricity , even if we had loadshedding all the appliances are turned off before it is loadshedding.

I logged a return online and it came back as not eligible. We also called into Takealot and sended an email regarding the complaint and asked them to assist us they came back and responded that they wont be able to assist us.

We are really dissappointed on how this complaint has been handled and would like to ask your assistance to come and fetch the television or refund the money back to us.

Takealot Le crueset cups

I ordered on black Friday 29 November cuppacino calm collection set of 4 mugs for R499. When I received my order, I received the appitizer calm collection side plates and not mugs. I phoned takealot first a man answered and I explained to him but he just laughed in my ear and said nothing. I phoned back and a lady answered by the name M. Sisipo. I send het photos like requested. She send to my house delivery to pick it up and say they will correct the order. That did mot happen. 3 December the order was picked up. M. Sisipo say it was an packing error and will fix it. Then a N. Thalente ask to send me photos of the plates with bar code of packaging what I did. Then on the 8 December I received from takealot an email that said return and credited. I did nit want a credit at takealot because if you go their website their is that same mugs available. Then I went and ordered on the 15 December the 6 U mug Le Crueset mugs. Paid it. Had to take the credit of R499 and pay and extra R725 because it is not black friday anymore. Received email from takealot payment received. And on tracking payment received. Then this morning 17 December say no payment received order was cancelled. You can phone them they do not answer the phone while it say working hours between 8am and 6pm. When I go into my orders. No credit because it shows payment receive and shipment will take place 3rd January. This is so unacceptable. Everyone always say buy there but I struggle just to get my mugs that was paid and I even paid more now from R499 to R1274 I had to pay just to get my mugs and still they keep mailing me order cancelled. What to do I dont know

Takealot magnetic balls

I purchased magnetic balls from takealot which I received on the 16 December 2022. there were supposed to be 216 balls in the pack but when I opened the container I saw that there were only 125. Thats 91 balls short!

When I sent them a message on fb all they replied was we received your message, thank for getting in touch. Nothing about they will get back to me or sorry for the inconvenience, This was for my son for Christmas. I am so angry and will never order from Takealot again,

Desired outcome: I would like the rest if the magnets by Christmas so my son can actually open a present on Christmas day. Im a single mom and can't afford to just go out and buy something else
