I bought a PS4 charging and cooling fan console for his birthday in on the 2 February 2022, the first item arrived and was not functional, which any person can understand it is technology and it can happen, the item was returned with not discomfort, it took a while to get a new item, they have decided to send me a X-Box one console charging kit and console we are now at the 15 Feb and i have to once again return the product, this makes me skeptical of buying from Take a Lot, as i would then rather pay an extra amount and go to a shop. it takes the joy and convivence of online shopping away and serves no more purpose other than head and heart ache.

Desired outcome: better management of items that is leaving for deliver, this might be a demo buy for 1000's more products.

Takealot cancelation of a paid order and long waiting period for delivery

the whole reason i ordered its because i wanted a laptop for my 3 year old daughter, its been a week now no delivery and when im tracking the order i see that my daughter's laptop has been removed from the cart that i have paid for already, honestly im unhappy and i am never ordering from takealot it was my frist and last time,

Takealot Empty package delivered

Tried TakeAlot for the first time and boy am I refreting. My order contained 3 items (Order number: [protected]). One item was missing from the order. Box was simply empty. Very disappointing. Stay Away!

Takealot Refund payment not received

a Tamron lens for a Nikon camera was order, I received a Tamron lens for a Canon camera, the lens size differ.
Lens was returned.
I await my refund since the 7th Jan.
I have no joy from your side to come back with a proper answer besides just passing on the bug to the next person, , I am sure I went through all 800 staff already.

Your service and communication is simply appalling, 2 nd day you still awaiting call center +[protected] still do nothing because they keep saying to they awaiting warehouse you failed to deliver on time that was yesterday no one care to communicate whatsoever.
service is appalling...you keep asking my details I have posted it several times since yesterday why are you communicating soooo bad? My DM has all the details yet you keep asking over and over why?...is this to mask your appalling service and bad communication.

Takealot Poor Courier Services

Fast And Furious Couriers are an ATROCIOUS courier company that does not respect their contractors or their clients. They are fast to make their clients Furious! I cannot believe that a mega company like Takealot.com that can associate themselves with such a poor reviewed company like Fast And Furious Couriers. Since Takealot.com started using this courier our (me and all my neighbors in the same area) packages never gets delivered to our doors anymore. The courier simply drops the package in a town they decide, in this case Laingsburg, which is 64km drive from my house(even further for some of the other neighbors). Fast and Furious courier driver simply refuse to deliver the packages and Takealot's couriers has ALWAYS delivered to us before. So if I want my package, this means that I have to take at least 3 hours time off from my farm and business to make a 128 km roundtrip with additional diesel expenses (since delivery fees were paid to the courier through the contractor via me the client). I see this as fraud and robbery. What is the point in using a courier? I might as well then drive 110km to Oudtshoorn or Mosselbay and do the shopping myself. I will not let this issue rest with Takealot.com and Fast and the Furiuos Couriers untill this courier changes their service or close their doors.

Takealot Order number 98295233 the light portable folding table-black was broken, I locked a return for the item.

Good afternoon.

I have phoned several times regarding the return.

Order number 98295233 the Light portable folding table-black was broken, I locked a return for the item.

Order number [protected], the item was broken at arrival, the courier person told I don't have to sign for the product he will return the order. He has taken pictures of the product, he told me he will report it.

At this stage I still have order 98295233 the light portable folding table-black that is broken. It is being almost a month that I struggle to return the table. Now I received an email that the return is being cancelled. How in the world would I cancelled a return and be happy with a broken item.

Takealot Order not yet delivered

I am waiting since the 20th of December for my order. When I phoned them they told me it got shipped to the wrong facility and they will reroute my order. And that they lost half my order in the shipping process! I am still waiting for my order and no one can assist me with this. I am so tired of this poor service. I did not expect it from Takealot.com. I will never order from you again. It is unacceptable, this was a Christmas gift and to this day I've received nothing! I am back at work next week. Abd the agent told me on the phone that it WILL be possible to change my address for delivery. Ive emailed them my new address foe next week, please see response from Takealot.com:

Takealot Refuse to test/repair/replace item still under guarantee

Booked a return for the remote of my Xioami device. On the return request I stipulated that I cannot included the complete system as we cannot sit without TV and that I have replaced the broken remote with a usb keyboard.

11/12/21-21/12/21 they were in possession of the broken remote. Nothing was repaired and they refuse the test the broken item. This is not the 1st time I have problems with returns that is why I even included the batteries as they previously refused to replace a broken item, simply because the batteries weren't' included.

One person attempted to investigate why it could not be tested / replaced and that took 2 days for him to get back with the same rhyme they all seem to use like parrots: Thank you for your response, Please allow us a moment, whilst we investigate the matter and request more information, As soon as we receive any feedback, we will notify you with an update. We do apologize for this inconvenience caused.

So my remote was sent back to me after I requested they return the broken item that they simply refused to test/repair or replace. That was on the 14th of December. I received the broken item back on 21/12/2021. So to date they send the same boring rhyme and I am just glad I didn't sit for 2 weeks without tv because this is the type of service they provide to replace/repair one of their faulty or broken items. So the answer to your rhyme is still: Yes because you are still refusing to test/repair/replace the broken item, you have definitely lost me and I am sure many other people as customers

Takealot I have received an empty box... When I order a drone

Good day

I order a drone and when I received nothing, I noticed at the gate as my box felt light, I told the driver that there's nothing as we opened it with the help of the security, I been waiting outside with the driver for almost an hour and he was trying to reached the office yet you guys didn't respond. We already paid, the driver the exact amount and we didn't received nothing how can I pay for something that didn't get. Please give us our drone because this is unacceptable as you guys didn't respond. Wasted my money on nothing so if you guys please Send me the drone. I have been speaking to the driver on WhatsApp, he said someone was going to deliver it, I don't know when I will get the order, how would I know the driver is at the gate? I talk to you guys on Gmail you guys did respond but you guys didn't help me a bit and I login in with a different account and Sizakele.M said that she can't help me because my account was different and that account that I login with was Microsoft account and you're Takealot Microsoft account doesn't work. I need this before Christmas. I paid the driver R260 and my drone is not here yet. I have ordered items on takealot and all goods was paid on the 14th of December 2021.

Till date they have not shipped any of the goods due to products not being available. Would like to have them before Xmas as their are items that is due to be given at Xmas time.

Takealot Delivery

I am so disappointed and take aback by this service, from what I though was a well established company, this being my first order with Takealot and if not sorted in a timely manner, will most definitely be my last.

I placed an order that was delivered to an incorrect address (Shocking)as advised by the customer Care lady I spoke to, this I a gift that I need by tomorrow, I really and truly hope this gets resolved soonest.

copied and pasted as it wouldn't allow my attachments.

Takealot Cancellation process.

I placed an order that I no longer need... The website states that if it's EFT or COD payment it can be cancelled now all of a sudden I need to wait for delivery to have it cancelled... I don't agree

Takealot Baby carrier

I've been given an incorrect baby carrier, I'm so sick and tired of calling for an exchange theybkeep telling me rubbish stories! Either they give me what I ordered or give me my damn money back. Their customer service keeps saying they are escalating to some department, they are just lying. I did not pay for such nonsense service. How is this my problem when they gave me the wrong item to begin with. They are surely useless at this point.

Takealot Laser lip hair removal

I bought a LP laser hair remover on the 5th Nov, I returned it on the 6th Nov it was declined till to day which in the 9th Dec, I have not yet received my declined item, Takealot scam people I never but from them again

I want my item back or my money, these consulted are useless I escalated a matter to a manager and they never called me back.

Takealot will run themselves to the ground.
Reputation is everything in a business, but I refuse to be scammed by takelaot I will make a scene before that happens and I will make sure it goes viral

Takealot Order placed and have hear nothing

I placed an order on 7th Dec ORDER NO. [protected] and have heard nothing so far. Had a credit balance of R1699.00 and had to pay a difference of R192.00 on current order. Can you please tell me what has happened to my order. The order was for a SkinNit Decal Skin for PS4: Fortnite Valued at R529.00 and a Harry Potter Box Set: R1108.00 and another book.

Takealot Service

Hi my order ([protected]) is taking very long to come ths delivery date keeps changing and when they send a confirmation that it will be delivered today and the it doesn't even arrive I have to sit in everytime for nothing I gave things to do and thus is such an inconvenience and on top of that one of my orders got canceled now I need to re-order and then have to pay delivery fee as for all my orders I purchased is way over R400 to get free delivery.

Desired outcome: I would for items to be delivered when they it will,I would also like compensation for this inconvenience

Takealot Change of banking details

I have been trying to place an order from takealot for a while now, my problem comes when I have to make payments. I no longer use the old account number and it does not want to give me an option to insert the new account number. I have tried choosing a different method of paying but it keeps taking to the same place. I can't keep on asking people to place an order from their accounts for me every time I want to buy something.
