Sonic Drive-In onion rings and pretzel twists

I have been craving pretzel twists for the past few weeks. We have been to this Sonic drive in 6 times and spend $ 10 to 25. I have noticed when I roll down my window in the drive thru that the oil smells old and like onion rings on most everything we order. Last night the onion rings were burned and the pretzel twists hard on the ends. I may or may not go back to this Sonic but I think they need to change their oil and not send out hardened pretzel twists. I was there around 7:17 check 141809. Drive thru 110.

Sonic Drive-In nasty food

I went to sonic on east independence blvd. I spent 23 dollars on a disappointment. The food was so nasty. It seems that it was sitting in a warmer with cheese on it. The new garlic butter burger didn't taste anything like garlic. The patty melt had to much mustard as if the mustard exploded on the sandwich and the bread omg it was as if I was eating a sponge. Smh y'all need to do better. That's the worst 23 dollars I ever spent. I will not be going back.

Sonic Drive-In sonic drive in.

I was actually going to court for a speeding ticket that I had gotten. So the sonic is right across the street from the Parish Courthouse. I ordered a drink and left well long story short I gotten half way home and something in the drink kept getting stuck in the straw. Come to find it it was a used condom. I've never been so discussed in my life. The manger of that location refused to do anything about the situation.

Sonic Drive-In hamburger

The person at drive through was rude and made fun of my elderly father
His burger was not made the way he ordered. The problem was the lack of customer service more than the food.
Finally after minutes of playing and making fun a female took over asked what he wanted and apologized for his wait. I realize these are all young school kids but it's his last trip to Sonic we frequent this Sonic weekly for food and milkshakes.

Sonic Drive-In getting ridiculous

One reason your failing. I ordered a single burger nothing on it for my dog. I was charged $4.49 for it. 5 brothers failed because they thought they could rip off the people of key west to. I have eaten in Sonic's from Pensacola to Jacksonville and have never been so blatantly ripped off before. I don't think ripping me off for a single dog burger was worth my loss of business which is several times a week. Back to McDonald's for me.

Sonic Drive-In customer a service

Hi my name is Mike Hammons I was in the drive-through at the Highland city sonic Temple County today and while I was taking or giving my order over the speakerphone the person that was taking the order was not listening constantly talking and interrupting while I was talking so of course they did not give Mike or correct when I got to play girl came out and she tried to give me the order but three items were missing had to have them at the order when I got to the window the young white male with all the the tattoos named Tevin snatched my credit card out of my hand give me all kinds of attitude like I had done something. Needless to say I was a Paul at the customer service that I received from the management team and from the drive-through staff I truly hope that you guys could rectify the situation because this was very unacceptable thank you for your time.

Sonic Drive-In dual charge

Sadly, I had a really poor experience at your 3993 store on 120 S Val vista in Mesa Arizona. The crew on Sunday, 10/13/2019 charge me $41.15 for four meals and also charged me $15.99 for someone else's meal. I spoke to the manager on duty that evening and he presumably reversed the second charge. I've followed up three times and after a call to corporate, I was referred to the GM. The GM refused to call me back, and I still do not have $15.99 refunded. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and now I'm using social media to highlight my claim to get my money refunded. I've been laughed at and lied to by your associates and managers. This is a terrible experience!

Sonic Drive-In manager

The owner needs to talk to the employees about Sharlena the manager, this person in no way should be managing this store. If the owner took some time to ask the employees about her I think he would be shocked to hear about her breakdowns at work and the crying and gossiping that goes on and how she needs to leave beause she is upset etc. She uses a bullying approach in her managing of kids that are employed there. Its very sad as this place seems to have young employees who are being submitted to this behavior..

Sonic Drive-In french fries nasty and poor customer service

Ordered two combo meals with french fries and some additional two large onion rings...fries were horrible...bland taste and colored darker from old oil in the fry vats... food came out and was missing one of the onion rings... told the carhop about it... she huffed and said she would be back shortly with the missing items... waited 20 minutes and with no one coming back out.. I pressed the red button and asked if my order was coming soon due to my burgers now getting cold due to the extended wait... finally a different girl shows up and wants money due to the order taker only ringing up one order instead of two... I said I was more than happy to pay for them but did ask if my now cold burgers could be replaced.. she huffed and said to forget about paying for the onion rings and turned around and walked away.. this was the worst experience at Sonic ever seen by my family.. poor food and customer service!

Sonic Drive-In customer service/change counting

I sat in your drive thru for 30+ minutes. Once I made it to the window, I handed the girl $20.01, my bill was $8.61, for 2 medium shakes. She gave me back $8.59. I told her that was not correct and had to explain over and over what change she owed me. She never could get it right and I just settled for what she gave me. She then handed me my shakes and they were half full. I said "this is all I get"'and her response was "we ran out"! I said "seriously, would you pay full price for a shakes half full"?"She srugged her shoulders and said"No". I said"neither am I. So I tell you what, you keep these and give me my money back." I think the crew in Kingfisher, needs a customer service and change counting in-service! I want to hear from somebody personally!

Sonic Drive-In iced coffee/ cold food.

I ordered a large vanilla iced coffee. I was given a medium. I told the guy who brought it out to me! He went& got a large. It was soo much ice packed inside that I couldnt even put my straw in. I guess it was a small he poured in the large cup& just added a whole cup of ice. I'm pissed I paid $3.19 plus tax. I didn't want to give it back a 2nd time b/c I feared something might be done to my drink. This is the 3rd issue I have had with this sonic. I literally go to sonic at least 4/5 a week. I will no longer order food nor drinks just get my bag of ice. Food was also cold as always. Always a long wait! No complaint I have ever filed has gotten a email, phone call or nothing! I guess you guys just don't care!

Sonic Drive-In sonic app

I use the app to get the happy hour drinks half price. Sonic is expensive and I could go elsewhere, but love sonic. This morning I ordered a drink on the app and a pop up appeared saying I had to make another purchase to receive that order!? I added another drink and it came up again. Just to check I added food and bingo! It went through. I did not want food! I checked the infor on the app and it said everytime you use it you get drinks happy hour half price! I took a picture. That is false advertising at the least! I am very upset, even though the cost is not that much. I can go elsewhere for diet coke, but I don't want to. This is a hook and I don't think it is right. We should have a warning if they are going to change things.

Sonic Drive-In customer service

Three times this store has given poor customer service. I will not be back. The first time it took them three times to get my order right. The second time my 80 year old parents ordered food and they both had forgotten their debit cards. They gathered up enough change to pay for the food and the employee refused to take the change. Third time was today. I ordered 3 of the new bacon butter burgers (which are not good) and I asked 3 different times if they came with fries and was told three times that they did. Of course when I received my order there were no fries. The employee that delivered my food said there was nothing she could do. I then said I would not be back which is very inconvenient.

Sonic Drive-In ice had screws in it

I purchased a bag of ice on October the 11th when I got it home on October the 14th we opened it to feel our cups there were screws in the bag I contacted the corporation then mcleod sonic contacted us they were very nice I took the bag of ice back hooked over the 15th they gave me a free bag of ice I just wanted to make you aware of the screws in the ice so that nobody gets sick everyone at that sonic is very nice I go there almost every day we are in our late fifties and enjoy sonic very much this was a true disappointment and a shock to find screws in our ice. Sonic Drive-In drink

I stopped in about 3:30 for half price drinks i got a cherry limeade my bf got a coke i drank about 1/2 on the way home. I live in Troy. When i got home i took the lid off so i could get the cherry and lime out. To my surprice something white and foamy was floating on top i went to scoop it out and it was slimy and gross what do you think it is? It is still clinging to the side of the cup. Im sick to my stomach. Im hiring an attorney

Sonic Drive-In no beef patties

Went to my local sonic drive in tonight for my favorite green chile cheese burger, upon arrival there was a hand written note on the order display: sorry for the inconvenience but we are out of beef patties. Sure enough, when we placed our order the attendant confirmed they were out of beef patties & chicken tenders! What the heck? A first and very disappointing, how does this even happen?

Sonic Drive-In sonic mobile app

I will never use the Sonic app again. I have used it 9 times & 4 of those times I have had significant issues, one that has not yet been resolved. The first time was on 6/26/18, back when you couldn't pay for your order from the Sonic app unless you put money on a Sonic gift card. So, I reloaded my Sonic gift card from the app so that I could use it to pay for my order. However, when I went to pay for the order using the gift card I'd just reloaded, I received an error message and ended up having to pay using my credit card at the stall. I contacted customer service and was told the stall I was in had been offline and unable to support the mobile app and that my issue was escalated to their Mobile App team with no ETA on a resolution date. No compensation was offered for my inconvenience.

The 2nd time was on 7/16/19. Again, I reloaded my Sonic gift card to pay for a mobile order, but every time I tried paying for my order with that gift card, I got a message that the payment was declined, so I had to use my credit card at the stall.

The 3rd time, on 7/17/19, I went to Sonic again and tried to pay for an order using the money I should have had on my Sonic gift card from the day before; however, it stated I had a zero balance. Yet again, I had to pay for my order using a credit card at the stall and immediately contacted customer service again. I was messaged back the next day stating I needed to uninstall and re-install the app, then restart my phone. I tried that, but it did not work, so I contacted them again. I was given a phone number to a company called Heritage to request the remaining balance on my mobile account be transferred to a physical card. So, Sonic was no help to me - I was told to take my issue to a 3rd party contracted with them for them to deal with. Again, no compensation of any kind was offered for my trouble. On 8/09/19, over 3 weeks later, Sonic emailed me and let me know in 7-10 days they would refund my debit card.

The 4th & final time was on 9/21/19. This time I was able to use my credit card to pay for my mobile order without having to reload my Sonic gift card. I put my order in, checked in at the stall at Sonic, used my credit card to pay on the app, but it said "payment processing" and then the app disappeared from my phone. I restarted the app and checked recent transactions, but the order did not show up, nor did it send me an email as it usually does immediately when an order goes through. So, I ordered the exact same items for the exact same amount at the stall and paid using a different credit card at the stall. An hour later, I received an email thanking me for my mobile order! I then checked both of my credit card accounts and saw I had been charged 2 times. I called the store I'd ordered from and explained the situation and for them to please refund my credit card, but the woman on the phone said she did not see a mobile order from me. I then contacted customer service and gave them all the details. Three days later, on 9/24/19, they asked for more info (again), which I immediately provided. On 9/27/19, almost a week later, they stated my refund request was being escalated. On 10/08/19 I contacted them again asking when my $10.32 would be refunded to me. On 10/11/19 they contacted me back, stating they were unable to locate my transaction using the information I provided. Frustrated, I sent them screenshots showing the transaction from my Sonic app, but I have not received a response yet. I have no idea how on earth it is so difficult to see that I placed an order through their app that was never fulfilled and just refund my money! I realize it is only $10.32, but it is the principle behind it! They have $10.32 of mine that does not belong to them!

After all these difficulties, I will never use the Sonic app again! It is not worth the hassle, and I have discovered first hand how lousy their customer service is. It should NOT take this long to resolve an issue. Furthermore, I own a business, and I would never conceive one of my customers having an issue, especially so many issues, and not offering them some type of compensation. Heck, not even a free drink or $1 off my meal - nothing. I know I can't be the only one having all these issues with the Sonic app. Get it together, Sonic! You're better than that!

Sonic Drive-In crispy chicken sandwich

2nd time in 3 months they have forgotten to put my bacon on my sandwich. I called and all he said was sorry when I told him where I life (5 miles away) he said sorry and snickered. I understand people make mistakes but for a business to think it's funny that I gave them another .60 cents again and shorted me food isn't good practice. I dont appreciate that my hard earned money doesn't get me what I ordered. Ty

Sonic Drive-In fruit slush

I'm at Sonic at least 5 times or more a week ! The sonic around the corner from me has become quite awful! I've had to return my slush 5 times in the last month! When you call the 800 number NOTHING is done, it's like the person on the other end of the phone doesn't care! My orders are NEVER correct anymore but if I go to another Sonic my order is better! Sonic phone customer service sucks!

Sonic Drive-In waiting an hour for food, wrong food, and attitudes of employees

They took forever took bring my food and when they finally brought it the order was incorrect. The order was wrong four different times. They also had an attitude with me when I told them my order was incorrect. They gave me a refund but proceeded to make me pay again. I was waiting a whole hour for my correct order. The manager refused to help due to the rain and proceeded to send the cook out who finally got my order correct.
