Sonic Drive-In unethical behavior towards customers

I went to sonic to get a deluxe cheeseburger w/bacon. got it back without bacon. I sent it back in to get bacon. when I got back to my office. i realized there was a hair on it. I had to go back and ask for a whole new one since I had already paid for it. I told the clerk the situation and she just said OK send it back and didn't even apologize. I got the burger back and the bun was stale and burnt on the underside. the burger was half the size of the bottom bun and the cheese was cold as can be. I would like a refund of my money and to let the company know that I will never go back there again. and neither will my family. they have just lost long time customers because employees there do not have the decency to deal with this. I also have pictures of the 2nd burger sent out to me. I hope I dont get sick from this because I will let you know

Sonic Drive-In hostile work environment

It's a paying job $7.25 plus tips. The company itself is good to work for and the owner really does seem to care. The location is pretty busy. There are some employees that genuinely do care but don't get treated fairly at all. There are some of the guys that work in the kitchen and some of my fellow carhops that work hard. There is also an assistant manager that came in from another store that has some awesome ways to make things so much easier on her shifts but keeps getting stopped from doing them. She is always fixing things and cleaning and trying to teach people the sonic way and trying make the place better. She even shows the manager what she has learned on the new computer system. She goes out of her way to help everyone even the ones that she knows are against her and trying to get her fired. Hopefully one day she will the store manager and then this place will be so much better if she doesn't quit from the bullying first. I hope i work more shifts with her because she's so smart and maybe i can learn more from her. Thank you [name removed]!
General manager only cares about going dr. Pepper games, no accountability or repercussions for employees from almost all of management, employees going in and out disappearing from positions on the clock, verbal abuse from the general manager constantly, i've even heard him say out loud in from of a whole lunch shift crew that an assistant "sucks" and he can't wait to come back after dr. Pepper games and fire her, he tells you to do something then yell at you for doing it, he makes you feel like nothing you do is good enough, doesn't acknowledge any extra effort and points out every mistake with certain people, he doesn't even do his job cause he expectsthe other managers to just do it for him, he yells and hits equipment when he is mad, store is so nasty and needing repair that the inside smells make you want to puke, black mold and water in the ceiling, manager is a hoarder has two sheds full of stuff to the ceiling just thrown in there, no organization, no required training or e-learning, no communication, schedules are copy and pasted so we run short handed when we need people and too many when we don't, the gms kids are bratty and nosey and do whatever they want, favoritism double standards huge issue, good employees getting burned out, just horrible morale and attitudes overall, fake and sneaky management, people always on their cell phones, worst sonic of the two i have worked at and worst i've ever visited in my life, i have never hated and been so miserable coming to work. Do not come to the sonic on monroe highway in pineville, la if [name removed] is still the manager he does not know how to operate a business! He only cares about how people outside of the store see him and the perception of the store not what it really is!

Sonic Drive-In food not right and then management promising something and then not following through with it

This store in Zebulon messed up my order on 4 different occasions and they made it right until this last time. I ordered my usual Jr Cheeseburger deluxe with only mayonnaise and a small order of fries. I visit this place at least 4 times a week and order the same thing. Last night, I placed my order and the person taking the order read it back but said the burger was regular. I repeated that it was supposed to have only mayo on it and he said yeah. I then paid for my order and when I got home, it had everything on it. I called and spoke to the man that was the manager on duty and he was very nice and apologetic and offered to refund and replace the order. It was only 3.12 but he offered to do both. Today, when I went to get the correct order, they treated me like I was lying. The man last night said he wrote it down, he took my name last night. I don't even think they looked for it. They did fix my food but refused to give me my refund that he promised. I know it is only 3.12, but is the principle of it. So, I took the food home and told that girl that was at the window to just keep the refund but I wouldn't be back. So, in short, you have lost a customer that visits this restaurant at least 4 times a week. I know I am just one person and it might not matter, but was very disappointing.

Sonic Drive-In customer service and the food

On Sunday Sept. 24, 2917 my partner and I went to the Sonic on State Rd. 436 in Orlando. I got the Car-Hop Classic with onion rings and a small coke. My partner ordered a hamburger fries and a Dr. Pepper. The food came and the guy never offered to sit the tray on the window as customary.We received the food in a paper bag handed through the window. there was no ketchup and the burgers were wrong. The burgers were taken back and when we received the replaced ones, they were horrible. I ate three bites and threw it back in the bag. The onion rings tasted like the batter had sugar in it, another horrible. I'm from Tullahoma, Tn. and had been eating at the Sonic there for 10 years before moving to Florida. Everyone in Tullahoma goes to the Sonic. The food is great and the service is great. The manager in the Florida store doesn't care about this store or there would be changes. I'll never go back to that Sonic again.

Sonic Drive-In worker's credibility

I brought my family to sonic and went through the drive-thru around 10 or 11 Friday night, and as we got to the front of the line and the attendant opened the window, the unpleasant smell of weed strongly reeked from the building. The smell honestly made me feel sick, and I feel that employees shouldn't be smoking on duty. I won't be coming back if this is the way the store operates.

Sonic Drive-In customer service

I had placed my order at the menu speaker and the guy taking the order even read it back to me, but once I didn't receive what I had ordered the girl at the window said yes what else did you need so I told her the rest of my order and so she said that the guy that took my order said that was what I had ordered but it wasn't made right. So I just left after I had already paid for everything and still didn't receive everything that I had ordered. I'm unhappy with the service instead of asking me if they could fix the order all the girl wanted to do was argue that that was all I had ordered. Due to the unprofessional people there I'm not stopping there no more for food.

Sonic Drive-In service

Person taking my order hung up and I wasn't even done placing my order, she was very rude. I had to call back in to order drinks then she left one off. The carhop didn't bring out either drink then she came out with only one because the other didn't get rang up so the manager had to come out, and she explained the girl taking my order was upset because someone called out. How is that my issue and why is that being taken out on me? I'm at this sonic daily sometimes 2 times daily but I keep having stupid issues but if I have any more issues I won't be back.

Sonic Drive-In carhop

My mother and I have been daily customers of sonic for years. About a week ago Elizabeth White came to carhop our car. Personal issues made me calmly back out and leave. I refused her to serve me. As im backing out she yells profanties with my infant and 62 mom in car. She is very good friends with Cindy Foster the manager and Cindys daughter Mary. We have to drive across town to the other Sonic to avoid dealing with any drama. U lost 2 daily customers becuz of this. I reported the incident to the other Sonic and the ex manager of Pauls Valley... Robert. Not to mention she picks her skin constantly and I sure do not want to be served by someone that picks their skin and calls me vulgar names.

Sonic Drive-In I literally waited 20 minutes on a meal!

I sat in the parking lot literally 20 minutes ! So I finally decided to press the button again to ask them what was the hold! She states, 'You placed an order'! Really? I have been in restaurant management over 20 plus years and never seen nothing like this before! Very unprofessional! Saw workers inside laughing and giggling! Carhops can't skate. Pure ridiculous! Really need some attention at this Sonic or can truly see why your business is not making the profit it probably should be doing. I will never return at least to this one again but the only way you will know if someone let you know.

Sonic Drive-In service

I went to order a RT 44 diet Dr Pepper and a RT 44 cup of ice. I arrived at 3:10. And at 3:45 I still not have my drink. So I pushed the button and was told my order was on the way out. At 3:53 I still did not have my order so I drove off. I know I went at the busiest time but 45 mins is outrageous! I am a frequent customer and will have to think twice about going again.

Sonic Drive-In screwed up my order

I orderd a bacon egg n cheese toaster I received [censor] burger on toast with ketchup lettuce tomatoes onions I don't like non of that [censor] on top of it there was a freaking onion ring on it like where the hell was my bacon n egg? Employees must not give a [censor] or theee high outta of there [censor] I used to like sonic but I will never go back after this [censor] I don't even no what I received

Sonic Drive-In store manager shelsy/drive thru

So I go to sonic every day to get a drink I bought food before and I bought gallons of water witch I bought 20 gallons of water and I have receipt for free 44 drink so I hold the receipt to do the survey later and come back and get the drink the store manager told Tanya another manager that I'm not allow to come back to sonic when I have never ever done nothing to no one or disrespect no one in the store so now I want to know the reason why I can't come back to sonic auburndale I start it crying yesterday do to I call the 800 number so I guess the 800 number went and told the store manager 33823 that they.not allow to give me the drink after I do my survey till I buy something again what the problem is I don't know but I told store manager yesterday after she told me all kind of crazy stuff that I will have to call the ceo if I have to because I have done nothing wrong to sonic I have never disrespect no one I was about to be on my way to sonic to buy 40 gallons of water to send to Puerto Rico to my family I was taking 40 gallons of water to Tampa where they taking the donations I'll go somewhere else I thought about sonic because Emily and crystall they are awesome I thought the store manager was to I don't understand the issue but I do need someone to call me asap thank u so much

Sonic Drive-In restroom

I was shocked by the condition of the restroom; then, understood why when I noticed the "Clean Restroom Verification Form" was for August and that it hadn't been completed since August 19th at Close.

I apologize for the delay in sending this note. I was in Tyler with my Father how has complications of his Diabetes. Nevertheless, I thought you much want to know the condition of your location at 600 Hwy 31 E, Chandler, TX 75758

Sonic Drive-In product and service both were absolutely terrible

Went through the drive threw was the second car in line and waited over 25 mins for cold food. Spent 27$ and no one was happy with the food. Cheese sticks were so cold. Burger was cold and the bun was soggy because it obviously had sat there for extended amount of time. Pop corn chicken was way over cooked my daughter couldn't even eat them. Had they mentioned it's going to take this long to make this or that. I would of cancelled my order. Or ordered something else.

Sonic Drive-In poor service

I live by this sonic and visit pretty regularly for my drinks. Multiple times i have had my order messed up and the car hop not care. My recent visit i got 2 large drinks, a Peach sweet tea, and a large frozen strawberry limeade. I stated this more than 5 times on what i wanted. when he brought it out, he simply said, "oh." I am very displeased and hope this can be improved.

Sonic Drive-In bad customer service and prices

I recently was in your sonic drive in at 2870 north Hayden RD and got doubled charged for boneless buffalo wing. Reason why is you menu board dose not show combo prices for anything over 6 wings when every other meal has combo prices. When I addressed the situation to your operator William Gammage he keep saying that the price was right and never said he was sorry and offered to refund additional charge. Now after spending 20 years as a police officer in the military and 3 years as flooring specialist at Lowe's I know a thing or two about customer service and what I received was basically a slap in the face. The only outcome that I would like from this is my money back and I will contact every review site like Yelp and post a bad review about this location and sonic as a whole

Sonic Drive-In hostile environment

I recently got hired at one of the sonic Drive-ins, they were remodeling it and decided to open the place early and on a half day which I was told is their busiest days. However, it is my 4th shift there and I've been yelled at blamed for mistakes I didn't make plus I get told I have a attitude or questioning them when I ask a question about why we do something. For example; I was blenching fries and I decided to use my hands "with clean gloves on" to sort it out better, then the store manager told me not to use my hands. I asked, "why do we not use our hands even if we have gloves on?". Not even answering my question I was told: "Are we going to have an attitude problem?" Then continuing to say "It is because I said so." Which in my book is not an answer. I thought the mature thing was to go to my manager that always gives me attitude in her response and said: "My apologies if I have given you an attitude for anything but what have I done wrong?". She replied with saying how I've given her lip and in her words " if you give us attitude, well give it harder back" which from what I would assume is not the correct way to manage a team. Being manager in roles the duty of nurturing the employee and I've found more help from my co-workers and the managers boss or "bosses boss" then I've seen from them! It's at my point where my family is telling me to just keep your head down, do your job for a few months and get the ***** out of there. In the end of this, I don't want anything bad to happen because the head manager has three kids and the other one has one on the way. It's a problem that I see every time I go to work. And whats funny is if I stand around for 5 mins I get yelled at by one of the managers to do something while she sings "back it up back it up" and have fun. Please, I don't want to be fired because of this complaint but I would want something to change with it.

Sonic Drive-In horrible food and service

My husband and 2 children went to the sonic located at 7739 E. Iliff Ave in Denver CO. He ordered 4 meals and brought mine to me at work so we could share a family meal together on my lunch break. I work a 12 hour shift on Sundays so it was nice we could do this together. I leave to work when the kids are sleeping and return when they are in bed. As we are opening our meals the food is COLD. Not lukewarm, not room temperature... I mean cold! The burgers do not have what we ordered on them. No ketchup, mustard or mayo- they all have pickles which none of us like.
So my husband leaves to return the food- there goes our family time together as by the time he returns my 30 minute break will be over. And I have nothing to eat.
As my husband is speaking to the "shift manager" he tells my husband that he can not refund him his money as my husband doesn't have the receipt. One was never provided to him. The shift manager acknowledges that the young man at the window has only been an employee for 2 weeks and has been making mistakes. He offers my husband to make the food over or give him a credit for ONE MEAL. Well at this point, why would he want to eat there again? So my husband continues to request his money back as
1. it is not our fault the food was horrible
2. It is not our fault we were not provided a receipt
3. Our family lunch time is over
4. Why should we settle for ONE MEAL voucher when we pain for 4?

My husband ask to speak to a manager. The shift manager informs him that the general manager is not available because he is attending his baby shower but he can provide him with his name and number to call on another day...

Eventually after 20 minutes of back and forth the shift manager gives my husband a refund. It was $22.50... and he returned the uneaten food.

Not to mention, the banana shake was sour!

Horrible food, horrible service!

I tried to call the corporate complaint line at 1800 ok sonic and it was filled with advertisements. A new # was provide [protected] which was more advertisements! UGH!

Sonic Drive-In ice shortage and prices

I live in Belen NM
First off the food served is very low quality for the outrageous prices when one can get the same product much cheaper at McDonald's a block away.
My MAJOR complaint is the ice shortage at this particular location. Every other week or so they stop selling the bags of ice for up to a week or more because of their ice machine breaking down. This has been going on for nearly 5 years that I've lived here.
My health depends on this type of ice-not the replacement large nuggets of ice they've sold. When circle K GIVES that type of ice for free. This store needs to get with it! I won't purchase the Scottsman macHine at this time if the machines keep breaking down..for the time being I'll have to go to Los Lunas (45 minutes away from Belen) to get ice. They have never had a problem with their machines or food..just the prices.

Sonic Drive-In poor service and no customer service skills/rude

Stoppped at the sonic located at 13730 Blackbob in Olathe KS to grab a burger for my friend and I. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and then after seeing on the screen that the car hop special is a cheeseburger that comes with onion rings, I hit the button again and asked if I could just make those into car hop specials since it was cheaper that way anyway and came with onion rings as well. Well, a guy comes out and says, "we already have it rang up, and we can't go and change the order once it's made. I said, but it's the same burger all I are doing is adding the onion rings and cant you just cancel that order and re ring it? So he comes back out and says well we will do it for you this time but we can't be wasting food. IT's THE SAME BURGER, you aren't starting over you are just adding onion rings and giving me a new total. Apparently that was way too much to ask! This guys name tag had Mike written on it and he was the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. Maybe he was just lazy or just had no patience and lack of customer service skills! He should not be working in the service business! I will never go back to that Sonic again, if any. And after I gave him my money, he acted like he wasn't going to give me my change back. I had to tell him to please give me my change. Wow, wow is all I can say about this guy Mike. Not a reall smart one that is for sure.
