Buckhorn, PA Shell stations maintenance of their gas pumps sucks.
When you go to get gas at the Shell station in Buckhorn, PA, you have to play the "which pump will accept the card today" game. A number of the pumps do not accept the card. The Buckhorn, PA station is located on a hill, and it is ALWAYS windy out there-EXTREMELY WINDY. If it is cold that day, the wind chill is terrible. I know the manager of the station can't control the weather, but he can fix the pumps so you don't have to change pumps until you find one that accepts the card. The station is usually busy, and you have to jockey for position to get to a pump that accepts my Shell card.
I would like Shell to contact the manager of the Buckhorn, PA station and STRONGLY SUGGEST that he get the pumps fixed, so that all the pumps will accept the Shell card.

Last year I bought a $50 Shell gas card . I used it last week and was told it was used in April of 2019 in Redlands, Caliirornia.
I live in NJ and have never been to that State since 1983. Since I have the card and was told it has to be personally swiped, how is this possible, please?

I pre paid inside with my debit card for $5. I put the nozzle in the tank while I delt with my daughter inside the car. I assumed as always that the pump would shut off on its own at $5, as it always has in the past. When I looked up I seen it was at $21! So I immediately pulled it out and went inside and asked "what just happened, I pre paid $5!" I needed the rest on my card for groceries until Friday. The woman named Christy, said " oops! Sorry honey, I did it again! I put $25 on the pump, not $5."
I was told to come back the next morning to speak with the manager, so I did. I was told by the manager that there was nothing she could do either.
So now I paid $25 worth of gas, only recieved $21 worth, and I prepaid $5 and out of milk, eggs, etc for the rest of the week because this woman messed up, and apparently not the first time by her own words. I feel this is so wrong! I work retail and food service my whole life and we've Never told a customer they were out of luck, when it was our fault. I'm so upset, I'd really like something done. If at least giving me credit for the remaining $4 that I didnt receive since I stopped the pump not knowing what was happening.
