the drive thru window and area are disgusting
The windows have finger prints on it. You could not see through it. It was clearly unwashed, filthy, grimy and bird feces cover the outer cover of it.
You can change this uncleanliness situation. I hope the bathroom are clean as well as other areas. Since we are in a war with covid, the public's safety is a big concern.

forgotten mozzarella sticks
i live 15 minutes swamy for elysburg pa sheetz, my boyfriend wanted something for a late night dinner so we ordered the 2 for six deal sliders and mozzarella sticks and he never received his mozzarella sticks. we didn’t notice until we came home and he opened his bag and no mozzarella sticks. order was from 38 s market street elysburg pa 17824 at 1:42:30am and the order number is #427 not only that but the nachos i got were stale and disgusting.
Desired outcome: i’d like my money back for the missing food.

I was at the Store #470 on Sunday. The pump started spraying gas through a hole while i was completing my pumping in my hair and the right side of my body head to feet. I went inside and a associate came out. He said that he could smell the gas while i was in the store. He came out and put down the product to cover the gas on the ground. I asked about taking the pump out of service so no one could use it. He stated that he was emptying trash in about two minutes so he would be back out. I waited because i didn't want someone to use that pump before he got back out. He came out but not to empty trash. I went back in the store because at this time approximately 9 minutes had passed. I asked to speak to a manager and he said that he thought that I was gone. He did tell me that maintenance was called. He said that he wasn't able to shut off the pump so he placed a red bag on it. I don't understand why there wasn't an urgency to make sure no one else used the pump. No one asked was I ok but that's ok because I care about your customers whether your associates do or not. i am grateful that no none got injured behind carelessness. I believe more training is needed. Thanks
Inappropriate customer service
Hello, last night when I went into my locker sheetz at about midnight to get some food I noticed a male worker yelling at his elderly female co worker stating “how can your dumb little mind not handle this, I told you what to do a million times” while still in front of customers which I believe is completely inappropriate. I work with the public as well and can understand how frustrating it can be, especially under staffed but giving co-workers a hard time because of that is completely unacceptable behavior in any workplace as we’re all just trying our hardesst. After this incident I returned at about 2am hoping that I could get food then to which I found that the male worker placed bags over the ordering machines so no one would order. As i walked in the male co worker said these exact words, “I already smoked an entire pack of cigs and we’re only halfway through the night. That’s how [censored] my night has been.” After this he then stated that “if you order food good luck getting it, that old [censored] has no idea what she’s doing.” At this point I went inside to find this elderly lady who seemed new trying to work on 3 peoples orders without any help at all while her only help was outside smoking. I asked her what his name was and she said it was David or Dylan but she was not sure. As I said I work with the public as well but if this were my co worker I would have reported him as I believe
It can reflect poorly in some peoples eyes on sheetz as an institution.
Desired outcome: Personally I do not want anything out of this outcome but I believe he should be let go for the sake of all other staff
Customer sevice/ safety
Came into the Salisbury NC station on Sunday 8/1/2022, the entire parking lot is covered in trash , landscaping is horrible and trashy , not one single towel at the pumps for checking your oil , water for windshields is nasty and looks like mud water , we were able to move to another pump to get gas , the store number is 470 , but I'll say for this to be in my hime town it is the nastiest sheets I have ever visited, thank God I didn't go inside or have to use the rest rooms ,because if the out side is this nasty you can only imagine how dirty they would be . It also says alot of the employee's here as well , can you imagine how their houses look ? You guys have to do better than this .
Desired outcome: I would like to see that someone gives a damn about the appearance of the business and comes here and makes them keep it clean and safe , a slip trip or fall could cost your company millions.
Service/ Frozen Drinks
As an almost daily customer, it is with a heavy heart I leave this complaint. Usually customer service is wonderful at this location. My family and I are heading on vacation this morning. We stopped to Sheetz store number 341 on 20 South Providence Road, Richmond VA. I ordered my usual Red Bull Frozen Smoothie and my daughter ordered the Raspberry Refresher. The staff was very rude. Very sarcastic, not the type of customer service you want when you are first waking up. On top of that, the staff did they not know how to make the Red Bull smoothie, but both drinks came out terrible. For the amount of money I spend at this location regularly, this really is unacceptable to me. Maybe the overnight crew just isn't a great as the day crew, but still shouldn't all service be uniform throughout the store?
Desired outcome: I would like a free refresher and a free red bull smoothie.
Manager very rude
I visited the sheetz on applgrove and pittsburgh in north canton ohio. I decided to play lottery at the machine. I pit a 20 dollar bill in and hit 10 mega millions. It took my money and did not print a ticket out. So I had my husband stand at the machine while I went to find a manager. When she came she was very rude and told my husband to calm down even though he said nothing to her. I was not happy with that kinda of service especially from a manager
Desired outcome: Would at least like to know that she is spoken to about her actions

I ordered online my food was cold my burritos had a strange taste like the food contents were bad . Turned my stomach sour.

A dead fly in my 7 year olds salad 😡
It was on a Tuesday June 17 my daughter wanted a salad & we got home of course she was ready to eat it as soon as she started she ran towards me saying mom there a fly in my salad & it was dead, it wasn’t even minutes later she threw. I think there should be a great compensation due to the fact she got sick, she didn’t even get to enjoy her salad & I chose not to contact the store due to past issues with poor customer service. I order food here quit often, si ce Jr's down the street from where I live and ita good.
I ordered today Thursday July 22 at 3:10 am. I picked up my to go bag and when I got home there were 2 items missing, the appetizer sampler-but I did get the sauce for it, and a hot dog. Food preparation
The past couple times getting food was a nightmare, The other day my turkey sub had the wrong turkey on it which I paid for the premium and got the cheap stuff and there wasn't any red onions which there was supposed to be. Another time I got a breakfast platter and my bacon was burnt, the eggs were dried out and hard, the hash browns were also dry and hard. My wife ordered a sub and it was toasted when she didn't want it that way plus there were black olives and cheese on it which there wasn't supposed to be. There are all new younger inexperienced girls working at the sheetz here where I live and they straight out suck at making food. Since the recent screw ups that have occurred i'm going to hold off on going there to buy any food until they hire some experienced employees

Pepsi Slushie Machines
I moved near a sheetz 10 months ago and was very excited as i love to stop by and get a pepsi slushie especially during the summer. This particular location has two different machines that offer pepsi slush as an option and neither one of them are ever in working order. I have stopped by numerous times and all different times of the day and they both always have the screwdriver emblem and are not frozen.

This isn’t a complaint that is isolated to one specific Sheetz store. As you will be able to tell if you look up my account, my family and I FREQUENTLY (almost daily) eat at Sheetz, and I get my gas exclusively at Sheetz. I’m categorized as a Sheetz freak! I almost exclusively order the MTO breakfast sandwich (ham, cheddar, salt, and pepper on a biscuit). It’s my absolute favorite, but lately, I get my order, and the sandwich is barely, if at all warm. I specifically order it toasted. I’m wasting tons of money on sandwiches that I can’t even eat because I’m eating on the run, and not near a microwave. I’m getting very frustrated and quite honestly, it’s turning me off from eating there. I’m begging you to let your stores know that if a sandwich is ordered “toasted”, that means HOT not COLD. The locations where we go the most are store 503 on Ronda Court in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and store 313 on Route 30 in North Huntingdon. Thank you! I look forward to hot breakfast sandwiches from now on. 😋

I was at my local store and attempted to purchase the following: 2 Tobacco Product Items (tins of chewing tobacco), 1 ice cream, 1 (6) pack of alcoholic beverages / beer.
I produced my PA Driver's license to the clerk at the register (Rita), at her request. She scanned my driver's license and identified that it was expired. My driver's license expired on, 7/6/2022 and was immediately renewed with the state Department of Transportation. I offered to produce the renewal form issued by the state, which is a valid form of id, as she said this could be acceptable id to complete my purchase. Instead of holding up other customers to find my renewal form in my email, I offered a state issued law enforcement identification card with my picture on it. She stated that she could not accept this form of identification. I noted that I had forgotten this state issued form of id does not display my date of birth. I offered another form of state identification (state issued weapons permit) which does have my date of birth, picture, address, height and weight, etc. She refused this form of id. I told my wife to retrieve her driver's license while I searched for my renewal form. My wife went to retrieve her PA Driver's License from our vehicle while I searched through my email for my renewal card. Both my wife and I are 32 years old. My four-year old daughter was present during this interaction.
Immediately upon understanding that my wife was going to make the purchase, Rita was unsatisfied and argumentative. She now refused me the opportunity to produce my renewal card which is by law a valid identification card. She stated that she could only take a passport or military id. My driver's license does have a veteran identifier, but since I am no longer in the military, I would have no use for a military Id.
Rita seemed not to understand Sheetz's policy for identification requirements for purchase. Ultimately, she sold me the tobacco products and my child's ice-cream. Evidence to suggest that she is unfamiliar with identification requirements is that (1) she is refusing multiple forms of valid / non-expired state issued identification, (2) she had no issue selling tobacco products that are by Federal Law (T21 signed into legislation December 20, 2019) illegal for purchase under the age of 21, without what she deemed to be valid identification, but claimed to take issue selling alcohol products.
The only other plausible explanation for this, outside of incompetence or lack of training, is that Rita deviated from procedure for personal reasons in response to knowledge that I am a law enforcement officer.
This entire interaction was confusing, unprofessional and senselessly confrontational.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response. I would like to know what Sheetz's identification requirements are for purchase of tobacco and alcohol products and if company policy was followed or violated during this interaction.

I went in to the store to make a purchase of cigarettes, The reason I went in is because there was a sign that says buy 2 packs of Newports and get $3.50 off, I felt that was a good deal so I wanted to buy a few packs maybe 6, but the rep behind the counter said not you only get 5 dollars off and she got a little upset and started rolling her eyes and got an instant attitude. At this point the manager comes over and I apologized to the rep letting her know that I am sorry if she got an attitude but that I was solemnly asking legitimate question. As to why I wasn’t receiving the $3.50 off and the manager instantly said she is not getting an attitude at this point I felt disrespected and I canceled my purchase and did not buy anything from this store. This is rude of the manager and the employee. If you are a Rep in a store you must have customer service skills have manners and have patients.
The manager proceeds to say if you want it? It will have to be a CASH Purchase and I said that is not what is stated on the Board outside and neither does it say you can only buy 2 packs.
I’ve never been disrespected this way the same way she got an attitude could have escalated the situation, but I have more respect for myself and so should your franchise.

Sheetz Randleman NC has a cook that continously walks out and refuses to complete orders that have already been paid for. He walks out during busy times and still continues to come back the day after and has a job. I have personally ordered and paid for orders on two separate occasions and he has walked out and went home in the middle of preparing my order. Numerous customers were also in line after completing their purchase and didn't receive their meals. The managers constantly try to correct the error with discounts and refunds. Please terminate this employee to save your managers and store time and money.
