This is the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with and I have had mortgages since 1986. Wells Fargo sold my loan to Selene Finance in
2023 and it’s been a nightmare. I was approved for a loan modification in early 2024.
My interest rate at that time was 4.625, loan payment (PITI) was $1087.25
The modification was approved for an 8% interest rate and a payment of $1363..35. I denied loan as it didn’t help our situation at all. Before the loan mod.was approved a loan rep with Selene Finance informed me that in order to be eligible for the loan mod I would need to have a 60 to 90 day late on my account. I missed 3 payments and eventually got caught up. I have made numerous payments and caught up on late payments to no avail. I continue to receive late fees etc.
