Selene is beyond useless. They are actually malicious. My loan was purchased and transferred to them for service. Oops, they missed over $40,000 in payments I had made, so they required that I continue making payments at the $40,000 higher level or be considered past due. I sent document after document showing their error to no avail. After two months and dozens of calls (so tough to get through), they made the change, adding back the $40,000. But, of course, their journal entry was that the $40,000 came in 2 1/2 months later, so they got 2 1/2 months of interest from me on $40,000. When I finally got through about that aspect of the issue, they said their system could not make that adjustment. (I could almost hear the undercurrent of, "We'll just be keeping your unnecessary, unwarranted interest payments because we want to.") As close to criminals who prey on customers as I would have ever thought I would see. And I see I am not alone in my issues with them. Pay off or refinance -- but definitely flee from their clutches...
