Bought in 2008. We bought because we were told we would have two weeks a year for five years, then one week a year after that to stay at Park Royal in Cancun in a suite. Every time I tried to book there was a availability except for times when we didn't want. We did use it a few times in the U.S. and each time the accommodations were subpar and the additional costs were outrageous. If you research Royal Holiday you'll see countless reviews just like this with prett much the same opinons.
Have had a membership since 2008. Found it to be nearly useless but we've been paying maintenance dues for seventeen years. Just recently I went online to pay dues and was locked out trying to reset my password. I emailed them (01/02-01/13)) for a few days but didn't hear back. Then I get an email (01/13) threating me with a 5% late fee if not paid on time. Would not give me access to pay, yet threatened me if I didn't pay.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
