Ross Dress for Less racism/ageism/harassment

You are destined to succeed if you are white in this company. Minorities and older employees are marginalized. People who fell in the latter category have been targeted unfairly and harassed regularly. Prejudice trickles from the top. Ross punishes those whose business made them rich in the first place-minorities and the poor. Rampant bullying. Sad

It is absolutely DISGUSTING that corporate allows their management in district 7 at store #1641 allows employees to be treated so poorly. JANUARY INMAN, MARY LEWIS, and KIM JIM feels its okay to publicly embarrass employees in front of customers and coworkers. Kim has employees do firing for her, and January and Mary harass constantly. I purchased a gallon of Elmer's glue and a 1/2 gallon of neon pink slime glue and a sweater along with a 99 cent Ross bag . Pics below of how all 3 stalls looked in the ladies restroom. Told an employee who was working in fitting rooms by restroom. Told actual store manager charlondria or something to that extent. Neither of them cared. This is ridiculous. Store was in shambles, shoes and clothing every where, couldn't even roll basket in aisle without hitting something.

Ross Dress for Less poor customer service

I went in to Roos in Lufkin Tx today 8/6/19. A worker by the name of Tiffany Caucasian lady. Gave poor customer service in what I fill was a races manner. The customers, she checked out before me. Where Caucasian, she went above and behind to give the best customer service. When I came up to the register it was total opposite of what she had just given. She also tossed my change at me. Very rude I will never shop there again and I will recommended anyone I know for the sane.

Ross Dress for Less customer service

At the time of checkout, I realized that i did not have enough cash on me so I told the cashier that I wanted to spilt the charges! I wanted to do 300 on one card, 100 on another cc And balance on cash! Well cashier did not do that, instead she charged one card and balance on cash! Nightmare began, I explained to her that I only had available 300 on the cc! She will have d audacity to tell me that she charged it all and that cc overlimits amounts are not high! I asked her to void it! Took over an hour to try resolve! Did not! Overlimit charges are 25us! Want to know if cashier will give me my money now

Ross Dress for Less my transfer

I was suppose to transfer to a different Ross Store which is located in bossier city. On July 8 i was to be on the bossier schedule. Due to the manager Gary at Shreveport i was not on the schedule for a whole week. I called both stores everyday and they kept telling me how it had to get approve. I called Gary the store manager at Shreveport and he told me it went through. This was July the 14. When i called the bossier store they said i wasnt approved yet. Now here it is another week and still nothing. I wont b receiving a paycheck because they either dont know what they are doing are they dont care. I just hit my 5 year mark at Ross. Its not fair to me that they are dragging their feet when im always on time, never miss a day, and even go beyond my job. So how can we fix this problem because i have bills and now i wont be receiving a check for these two weeks. Someone needs to do something about this are the Labor board will be oon my list of things to do.

Ross Dress for Less ross price matching

Chris at THF blvd is just HORRIBLE. Such a poor customer service that I cannot even imagine it. She should be thrown out of the store right away. I just asked her to match a price for one of the bag but she was extremely rude and refused right away. Ross should really need to focus on providing training to their employees regarding customer service and should hire better people. Very disappointed ☹️

Ross Dress for Less customer service/ lost or stolen products

On 7/12/2019 a friend and I went shopping at Ross. Upon returning home, I noticed a bag of items missing. I called the store and spoke with someone who introduced herself as Veronica. She asked what register I was on. I told her I wasn't sure, but I gave her the time I was there and told her it was the only register opened then. She checked and couldn't find the bag. I told her we carried the bags out but didn't take the cart out of the store. We left it at its proper place in the store. Perhaps it was there. She said all of their carts were stocked so one of the employees would have returned the bag had they seen it. This confused me, because I was the one that stocked my cart. Not an employee so it could have still been there. I hung up after telling her I would double check my car. I knew my friend didn't have it because she only bought 1 item. After another hour, with no luck finding my merchandise, I called the store and spoke to veronica again. She claimed no one returned it and it still hadn't been found. I felt like she was trying to dismiss me so I asked, shouldn't you take my name and number in case it shows up. I heard her sigh and her next words were, what is it? I asked if she ever planned to call me back if my bag showed up because I only felt placated? She said, she'd call. Gave her my info and informed her that this wasn't the Las conversation I'd be having with Ross regarding this situation. she was inexplicably rude, she didn't give a crap about my missing $40 of merchandise and I doubt she'd call, even if my bag was placed right in her hand. Thanks, Ross, for your mighty fine customer service! [Extreme sarcasm in case it was unclear]

I was walking in into Ross to shop around when all of a sudden my mother has an emergency where she has to go to the restroom and when we ask to go to the restroom we are told the restrooms are "broken"??? Broken?? All the restrooms? I think what their issue was that they didn't want to keep cleaning the restroom such a trash location and will never come back! Shame
