I’ve been a long-time customer of Shaw/Rogers, using their internet services for many years and renewing my plan multiple times. Each time I renew, I make sure to compare the offers available to new customers. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a consistent pattern: new customers are given better deals and perks, while loyal customers like myself aren’t offered the same incentives.
For example, new customers are currently being offered 1Gbps internet for $60/month, a $200 bill credit, and free equipment including a router and streaming device. When I contacted customer service to see if they could match or even come close to this offer, they were unable to do so.
It’s frustrating that loyalty doesn’t seem to be rewarded. In fact, I’ve found that prices and promotions vary depending on where you look—whether it's online, through door-to-door sales reps, or at stalls in night markets. This inconsistency adds to the confusion and dissatisfaction.
I’m leaving this review to share my experience before deciding whether to cancel my service. I hope Shaw/Rogers reconsiders how they treat long-time customers.
