I am submitting this complaint regarding deceptive sales practices employed by Rogers Communications. As a 68-year-old customer, I was pressured into subscribing to a service without being informed of an additional $80.00 charge that was subsequently added to my bill. Despite multiple inquiries and online bill reviews to dispute the unauthorized fee, I received no satisfactory explanation. This lack of transparency and poor customer service represents a significant deviation from acceptable business standards. I was promised a specific price point, but I have been subjected to misleading tactics, price gouging, and deceitful representations by Rogers representatives across various communication channels.
Claimed loss: $80.00
Desired outcome: I request the immediate removal of the $80.00 overcharge from my account to ensure timely payment of my bill, which is due on November 24, 2025.Thank you

I am in Canada, not the US. I specifically stated Canada.
Called customer service to inquire about an increase in my monthly payment for my cellphone. I called at three separate times and I was put on hold for as long as an hour during the three calls that I made. Moreover, it looks like Rogers is outsourcing jobs to people outside Canada and customer service agents do not seem to know and or understand what my concerns were. I then called to cancel my plan as their system does not allow chance online. The hold time to speak with a person was longer than that I unexpected. This is a corrupt Company that needs to be investigated.
