Me and my hubby had a terrible experience at Kittle's in Indianapolis, IN. We ain't never goin' back and they done lost our business forever!

Kittle's Home Furnishings Center I went to the Greenwood store on May 18 to choose fabric for a sofa and pillows for my wife and me

I went to the Greenwood store on May 18 to choose fabric for a sofa and pillows for my wife and me. We completed all the paperwork, which stated that the furniture would be delivered on June 22. I was excited and eagerly waited for that day. However, June 22 came and went without any call from Kittles. I waited until the 26th, but still, no one contacted me. So, I decided to call Kittles myself.

The person I spoke to informed me that I should receive the furniture before July. It's now June 29, and I haven't received any calls from Kittles. Since June 22, I've been waiting by the phone every day! When I called back and asked to speak to a manager, she promised to call the manufacturer and get back to me within an hour. However, it took her two hours to call me back, and she had some bad news.

The manager told me that the manufacturer, ***, hadn't even started making the furniture. This is really disappointing news, considering the amount of time I've been waiting for it. They didn't even bother to inform me about the delay! Frustrated, I told the manager that I wanted a refund. She agreed, but when I went to the store, she was extremely rude and said I wouldn't get my money back immediately. Instead, they would have to mail me a check, which would take five days. This made me even more upset because I had given them the money on the day I ordered the furniture. Now, I have to wait five days for a check, and I can't help but worry if they will be honest about it, considering their previous dishonesty about the furniture.

What's worse, while I was at the store, a lady started screaming at me to leave. It was such a terrible experience that I almost called the police. I decided to contact Kittles headquarters and spoke to Mrs. S. She assured me that they would mail me a check, but it would still take five days. I can't believe the ordeal I've been through - no furniture, waiting for my money, and all the time wasted. I'm 60 years old, and I've never been treated so poorly. They owe me an apology and the furniture I paid for.

Kittle's Home Furnishings Center I got my couch on August 17th

I got my couch on August 17th. But after about 6 months, the cushions started fraying badly and were all worn out. I tried calling them many times to find a solution, and finally on February 21st, they said I would get new cushions delivered to my house in 2-6 weeks. It's now July 10th, and I still haven't received the new cushions. When I call, they can't even give me an estimated time for when I'll get them. My couch is fully paid for, so this problem should have been resolved by now.

We bought a I comfort Serta matress at a very expensive price in 2013. I've been fighting this issue for almost one and a half years. I was told it was a Serta problem, then it was Kittles. When Covid-19 hit, I couldn't get any response. On August 29, 202 I finally got forms to fill out and pictures to email to Michael Batt. First sent on 9/13, again on 9/23, again on 10/4, and finally on 10/13 with Mr. Batt on the phone telling me he was getting them. As of today 10/21, I haven't heard anything.

We bought a bed from them on June 19th thinkin it would come in 6 to 8 weeks, as Brenda Duh, the saleswoman, said. It's almost Halloween now and the bed still ain't here. None of the managers we talked to know when it's comin. My wife has been sittin on the floor and leanin on the bed to feed our new baby 'cause it's still on the floor, and it's causin her neck pain. We've wasted so much time on this and even if they give us a refund, it won't make up for it. We're startin to think they never planned on deliverin it in the first place. They should give us half the money back and finally bring the bed sometime this year. They're such a bad business, they should discount it 50% for all the trouble.

Kittle's Home Furnishings Center When Kittle's delivered the furniture truck, it caused extensive damage (28,408.67) to various areas of my property

When Kittle's delivered the furniture truck, it caused extensive damage (28,408.67) to various areas of my property. At first, I only noticed the damage to two lights and mentioned it to the delivery men, who said they would report it. However, the truck was blocking the significant damage done to other parts of the property, which later became apparent. A Kittle's Customer Service representative called and assured me that they would take care of the lights. I then informed her about the extent of the damage and requested that someone come to assess it. Unfortunately, they refused and stated that their insurance carrier (***) would handle it. After going through the Customer Service representative, I received an email from Jayda J, claiming to be the representative from ***. However, when I called her, she said she was no longer involved and provided me with the name of Elisha L, who was now the claim representative. I had to call Ms. L multiple times to inquire about the status of the claim, especially after obtaining repair estimates (by the way, I didn't choose the highest bid). I called Ms. L several times, and she informed me that she didn't have the Adjuster's (***) report. After my third call, she finally told me that she had the report and the "replacement value" (RCV) was $28,408.67. However, they would only pay $26,123.66 due to their claim of depreciation on the brick gatepost and wall. They argued that since they had to provide "new bricks," it wasn't their responsibility to give me a "new" wall. To illustrate their point, they gave the example that if they had totaled a five-year-old car, they wouldn't have to pay for a brand new one.

Kittle's Home Furnishings Center This here's a complaint 'bout the delivery and customer service

This here's a complaint 'bout the delivery and customer service. We bought a whole lotta furniture from the Kittles store in Ft. Wayne on August 16th through Rick in sales. Some of our furniture had to be ordered, but we got a voicemail from Rick on the evenin' of August 16th sayin' that there was a couch, chair, and end table in the warehouse that would be delivered to us on August 25th. I made arrangements for someone to be at the house on August 25th, but only the couch showed up (no chair or table). I called and talked to the manager, Mark, and he said that arrangements had been made for the chair and table to come on August 28th. I took off work for August 28th, but when the delivery came, there was no table and the chair was the wrong one. The delivery truck had the ticket matchin' their order, but it had been ticketed wrong. I talked to the manager again, Mark, and he told me that the chair and table would be delivered on September 1st. I didn't get a text alert like I usually do, so I called the delivery number and they called back sayin' that there was no delivery scheduled and that the transfer wasn't made by the Ft. Wayne store. When I called the manager, Mark, at the Ft. Wayne store, he blamed it on the Indi warehouse. This is my fourth try to get some of the furniture that I paid for and was promised. We've taken off work twice and made arrangements for others to be there when we couldn't. Both places are blamin' each other, and the customer (me) is the one sufferin' and bein' inconvenienced. This has been the worst customer service and service recovery experience I've ever had.
