my husband and I went on to expedia to reserve a room from oct [protected].
upon arrive at 530 pm on 10/13/23. we checked in went to the room 231.
about 830 pm my husband went to take a shower and discovered the floor towel which was folded on tub, was wet and opened it and it was dirty and had someone's hair on it. same as the bed sheets i went down to front desk and told her she called someone from housekeeping they didn't answer. She gave me new towels and matt. told me she would send someone in up with new sheets and pillowcases i cleaned the bed with a washcloth. We stayed the first night. we called expedia and requested and refund to go somewhere else but when they called and talked to front desk, they refused to give us to even cancel the next night and didn't do anything to make it right housekeeping came in the morning didn't change the sheets. breakfast was stale bread for toast and frozen bagels coffee you can see the bottom of cup through coffee. online it shows a pool, fitness room. business center. pool didn't look like was used for a long time and fitness center wasn't open it had paint cans and trash in it business center turned into a casino we traveled from upstate NY. for a wedding.it was the worse place we stayed at ever
Desired outcome: we had no choice to stay and endure the terrible conditions. i would like a full refund of our stay.

From afar, we made a reservation at the Red Roof Inn in Benton Harbor, MI. Had we seen the place we would have made other plans. But after a long day's drive, we reluctantly stayed. First room smelled as if a cigar convention had just been held there. Second room smelled better but the floor was filthy. Rather than request a third, we stayed in the filthy floor room. The toilet tank had no top and the room was generally in need of repair. Two police cars came to the motel in the early evening, evidently to evict people who'd overstayed. It seemed to us that most occupants were permanent or semi-permanent residents, as opposed to travelers. My wife expressed doubt that her sheets had been laundered, and noted that one of her pillowcases was dirty. The punch line, though, came the following morning, when I began itching all over. Fleas? Our destination was Toronto, and by the time we arrived that night the itching was furious. First thing the following morning I visited a nearby clinic, where the doctor told me I had scabies, and prescribed Ivermectin plus permethrin lotion. Doctor visit cost $130, prescriptions cost $116. I expect Red Roof to refund the room fee and to pay the medical bills. So far, I've made four calls to "guest relations" and spoken to four different reps, none of whom have found any record of previous calls or emails. They promise an imminent email including a case number, but none comes. The scabies lesions are gradually receding, but I need another dose of Ivermectin because the first one, I am told, didn't kill any eggs the original mites have laid. Will there be legal action in the future? We'll see.
Desired outcome: Refund, payment for medical expenses directly related to Red Roof stay.

I have resided at HomeTowne Fresno West for over 9 years now. On 06/19/2023 at 7:20am, I walked in the 3rd floor stairwell to go pay my rent, when I slipped in something at the top of the stairs, my foot came out from under me and as I was falling, I tried catching myself with my right hand, bent back my right hand to my forearm and injured my wrist and thumb as I landed on my back, which knocked the wind out of me. As I was trying to get up I realized my wrist was injured which caused me pain. I managed to walk down 2 flights of stairs got to the office and I told Maggie what had happened, then I told her I felt sick and felt like I was going to pass out, it was also hard for me to breathe. I had to lay on the floor as she called for an ambulance. I've had multiple x-rays, an MRI, seen an orthopedic doctor which tells me I had a fracture in my hand and I have torn tendons, so now I need surgery. I emailed corporate a made a claim regarding this incident and I've been told it was reported to the hotels insurance and that they would contact me. It's now been over 2 months and I haven't heard anything and the people in the office say they don't know anything or haven't heard anything. I need help paying my rent. I am completely unable to use my right hand. It's a struggle to even get dressed. My complaint is why hasn't anyone contacted me, I need help. I have proof of my injury and ambulance ride to the ER. I also have proof of how the stairwell and balcony aren't cleaned regularly. There's always food and puddles of liquid or water on the ground and no signs were posted.
Desired outcome: I feel I should be compensated for pain and suffering and lost wages for doctors appointments I've had to go to.

The furniture was terrible, the chair looked like rats had been eating it for at least 5 years. The sofa was completely broken down. The toilet hadn't been cleaned for several days had [censored] still all over it. The shower looked like the last person to used it must've been completey covered with grease.
