Priceline.com Priceline hotel wingate

I prepaid a refundable rate for July 14 through July 19th with Priceline. When we arrived we were disappointed, the hotel was disgusting, they had smudges on the elevator doors and above the number panel. When we got into the room my skin crawled, I couldn’t stay with my shoes. What did it for us the next day was a roach in the bathroom. We quickly checked out around 10. Then checked in the Hilton for the remaining of my stay. When I contacted price line about the issue they gave me the run around. They said they’ve been contacting the hotel but they haven’t gotten any response. When I tried contacting the same number they had a non working number. Lastly Priceline wants to keep the money, not the hotel. Because the Indian lady at the front wish me luck in getting my money back from Priceline and she ensured us that it doesn’t have to do with them it has to do with price line. Price line is saying they can’t give me my money back because the hotel has a non refundable policy. I tried to resolve it numerous of times since the incident

Desired outcome: I want my money back for the 4 nights I didn’t use. I had children and the condition of the hotel was poor

Priceline.com Priceline's 3rd party partner Hotel Beds

I booked a hotel reservation for 10 days through Priceline's 3rd party affiliate, Hotel beds. When booking through the website, false information/advertising was presented. I THOUGHT and was under the impression I had booked a room for 151sq.ft. The pictures, room description etc. mathced the room that was 151sq.ft. When I got my confirmation email, the resevration shows small double room. I did not know that this was NOT the room I THOUGHT i booked. Needless to say, i did not realize until i checked in at the hotel. When I called Priceline to complain about this, nothing was done and nothing would be done. This 3rd party is MISLEADING and tricking people when booking. Catfishing SCAM FOR SURE. I would also like to state that we were charged hotel taxes upon booking, and then again upon check-in. I filed the complaint on June 10th and did not receive my refund for these taxes until July 17th. TERRIBLE. NEVER AGAIN PRICELINE BOOKINGS FOR ANYTHING! If Hotel Beds (3rd party partner) would not do anything, Priceline should, as i booked through Priceline and not Hotel beds.

Desired outcome: I have asked to be reimbursed for the room price difference, which is between 15 and 25 euro a night. I stayed for 10 nights.

Priceline.com Billing dispute

Priceline

D-[protected]

Priceline is running a scam by using deceitful practices.

On Friday, 6/9/2023, around 4 pm, I used Priceline to book a last minute room in CASPER, Wyoming for that same night of 6/9/23.

Instead of informing me that there were NO rooms and giving me an option, I was redirected to the same hotel in another town 60 miles away - DOUGLAS - without INFORMING or ASKING me! Why would I add two hours to an already long 18 hour trip? They made it look seamless as if I had a room where I requested!

Once the room was booked and I received the Priceline email at 4:07 pm in the WRONG town, I realized what they did.

I immediately tried to get hold of Priceline. It’s impossible! No phone contact, only messaging for three hours (4 pm - 7 pm) and being ghosted repeatedly (3 times)!

I immediately called the DOUGLAS hotel at 4:30 pm and explained what Priceline did. She canceled the booking and said I wouldn’t be charged by them.

I called the DOUGLAS hotel once more at 7 pm after the third ghosting by Priceline and was told the same thing - it was canceled and no charge.

Priceline says that they follow the hotels policy and the hotel did not charge. So Priceline is cheating me!

I spent hours with Priceline messaging (4 pm to 7 pm) and was ghosted three times.

See attached screen prints with Pamela Rose and Gretchen who said, “she will contact the hotel and ask for an exception”. Then she ghosted me too.

Well, Gretchen, the hotel verified twice that they canceled and didn’t charge for Priceline’s mistake, yet you lie and pretend it’s on the hotel policy for you to cheat customers!

I then used Hotels.com and was able to book a hotel in CASPER (same night, same town Priceline was supposed to book). The charge is shown below the Priceline charge on my statement.

The hotel in Douglas booked through the Priceline scam was never used, was canceled 30 minutes after booking through the hotel and verified no charge by the hotel.

Desired outcome: Refund wrongful billing. Change deceitful website redirection.

Priceline.com Booking under blatant false advertisement and refusal to resolve

On July 12, 2023, I booked a hotel Reservation on Priceline for what was listed as the Commerce Hotel Casino 6121 East Telegraph Road, Commerce, CA for August 7-12 2023. It is special trip I'm gifting my teen daughter to interview/tour at several California colleges and explore (she's never been to CA), and we are traveling all of the way from Florida. Priceline used the photos for the Commerce Hotel Casino as well as their name, so it was very specific and there was no mistake on my end. So prior to booking through Priceline, I did a lot of research on this place before booking, including read various positive reviews about the Commerce Hotel Casino, so I finally submitted payment of $655.80 of the "Fully Refundable" hotel selection

However to my horror, the email confirmation that Priceline sent me was to a Travelodge!

I immediately called Priceline's customer service and spoke to the first tier representative, who acknowledge the contract mistake and offered me a refund. I told her that instead of a refund that I prefer that they honor the Commerce Casino Hotel, so she escalated me to the next tier of customer service. The second representative also acknowledged the contract mistake and told me to wait 3 to 5 days for Priceline to resolve the issue and he also apologized, and the escalated my reservation

On July 15, 2023 at 11:46pm Eastern time, I received an email from Priceline (Kristine Jay J.) stating that they would not refund me and that this was non-negotiable.

I was patient for 4 days waiting for Priceline to fix this this, and they ultimately refused. That Travelodge looks like a run-down motel, has minimal accommodations/amenities with horrible security, having direct outside access to the elements and possible criminal activity (being an outside establishment with no inside hallways). I do not feel safe at Travelodge and we will absolutely not be staying there. They cannot treat customers like this, and I am so disappointed in how this was handled.

Desired outcome: Honor the promised hotel, or a refund plus a voucher for to compensate the undue stress and loss of time spent on this, and most importantly, remove the false advertisement listing so that no one else suffers.

Priceline.com Days inn Wyndham Dayton north

July 15, 2023

Checked in reservation on line said 2 beds I was unable to change it, I asked upon checking in and was told they are unable to change Priceline bookings

The room was in terrible condition. The bedspreads were full of burn holes, the light on the desk was broken, the curtains were coming off the front window, the vent in the bathroom was not there just a hole in the ceiling, the toilet did not flush!

They offered to fix the toilet. We made them move us. So the room they moved us to actually was nicer as they said it wasn’t a “Priceline” room. Therefore it appears if you book on Priceline they give you the disgusting rooms. Also when we finally settled in. The tv doesn’t work ! Never again !

Priceline.com Rental car

Priceline Trip Itinerary Number [protected]

Car rental from Green Motion Orlando International Airport July 14-18, 2023

I am totally dissatisfied and will not recommend or rent from Green Motion in the future. I will not use Priceline for rental car needs in the future. I will dispute my credit card charges with my credit card company because the agreed upon product was not delivered.

I prepaid for a full size vehicle but Green Motion provided a smaller standard vehicle. Green Motion manager stated they did not have have any full size vehicles available which is an illegal bait and switch tactic. I found it unbelievable. At a minimum they should have offered an upgrade not a down grade as is standard car rental policy and practice. The car provided was unaccommodating and uncomfortable. Although employees were courteous and friendly, they appeared more patronizing than resolving issues.

In addition Green Motion would not accept the prepaid insurance through Allianz Global Assistance unless I purchased their additional liability insurance; again a bait and switch tactic. Purchasing the

Allianz policy was a waste of money because it was non-refundable.

I also was required to use Green Motion toll pass account when I had my own toll pass account.

My wife and I had to wait almost an hour in extreme heat for the Green Motion shuttle at the Airport when they advertised every 15-20 minute. Shuttle service and vehicle was not acceptable for accommodating numbers of waiting customers. As much as could be seen, only 2 shuttle vehicles were in use with multiple stops and other services (parking facility).

Check in at offsite Green Motion location was chaotic, disorganized and overly crowded. Facility was small and overcrowded with people waiting for check-in or to be returned to airport. Waiting customers stormed the check-in counter rather than waiting in line. Green Motion employees were just standing around busy chatting or cajoling rather than taking care of customers.

Desired outcome: A little too late for getting what I paid for. i expect full refund for unprovided service.

Priceline.com Car rental

on June 20, 2023 I used Priceline to rent a car beginning June 22nd for 21 days. I bought the insurance online as well as reserved the car. When I arrived at the rental car company at the Cancun airport, they informed me that they do not accept the insurance Priceline sold me as it is an American company, and I would need to purchase insurance through them, or pay 1600 dollars in deposit. I declined to rent from them as the insurance in addition to what I already paid for was way too expensive and I canceled the reservation. i was not charged for the rental car, but when I went to cancel the Priceline insurance they sold me I could not cancel it. this is unacceptable to be forced to pay for something that I was not able to used, and they should have refunded me the insurance fee, since I never used it. it looks like a scam rip off. they should know whether the insurance they sell can be used with the cars they are reserving for their customers.

Desired outcome: refund of the unused insurance

Priceline.com False advertising

Booked a 2-day hotel stay in Sacramento at the double tree by Hilton. Priceline website not only list amenities listed below but also make no mention that the hotel is under major renovation ( lobby was in a hallway using a folded table)

No Lobby

No restaurant/bar

No Pool

No Spa

No room service

No wine/beer (unable to serve because staff was not A.B.C certified)

No Game room

No Night club

No Pool table

No Ice Machine (every floor had a broken Ice Machine)

No gym (a mat with a weight set; no treadmill; no working machine)

No water out of shower, it just dripped so we washed hair in sink

No Vending Machine

No Coffee Shop

No Double Tree Cookie (they had the double tree vans with the cookie advertised hahaha)

When asking Priceline to cancel our reservation so we may find other accommodations we were told that the hotel was in contact with them and said that what we claimed was not true. I believed my own eyes and demanded they view my pictures; allow me facetime; or see my video. To be called a liar is one but to not be allowed to defend myself was just humiliating.

Desired outcome: I would like a refund if the very least a full apology. Stop falsely advertising to your customers.

Priceline.com I no longer will cancel

After 18 calls to customer service — no call back to cancel — the worst I have ever dealt with — never will again — use expedia!

Trip number

[protected]

To never get a single call back is really unbelievable — great to have a cancellation policy of 11:30 ish the next day — but when no return call as promised — how would anyone expect to make such cancellation — the absolute worst experience I have had in traveling — also the phony name and to ask how it was talking to him — it never happened — surely this is no surprise to you!

Michael kelly

Desired outcome: just a call back to cancel--to rebook----but after 17 attempts it won't happen--a scam site---which is bj's travel same as priceline totally bogus--only have hours to cancel---cant do it any other way

Priceline.com We were tricked & scammed (with video proof) hotel booking

booked with this company as they seemed to have the best deal.

I selected 2 adults and 2 children with their correct ages.

I recorded the whole booking process & selection which all the way stated I had added 2 children.

When the booking was made and confirmed I checked for an email confirmation which I always check thoroughly...

It said 2 adults Max!

I contacted them by whats app & the guy Donnell seemed helpful & understood the problem and could see exactly what I had booked to be true but the hotel reservations were closed due to time zones in Dubai!

He told me to what's app tomorrow and he would escalate the situation.

The next day I contacted them and they basically told me the opposite and were very unwilling to help as it was not free cancellation!

They told me to call the American number from the uk to speak to a supervisor which will cost me 100 of pounds!

I am now massively out of pocket to add my Children on with the hotel & to add on the breakfast on top so about another £1000 I could have found a much better price than now what I am paying out with all the add ons that were already included!

I DID ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING RIGHT I MADE NO MISTAKES & I AM BEING PUNISHED I WILL BE TAKING THIS COMPANY TO COURT!

I have complete video evidence from start to finish & this deal is still available which is false advertising & trickery!

Desired outcome: A full refund or adding on my Children to booking at current price with full confirmation from the hotel but I would prefer a full refund as I do not trust this company & I have contacted a legal team.

I had the same situation on July 9th! I guess it was one of many annual Priceline Scam Days! Booked a great deal for a Presidential Suite at the Hilton in San Diego. Got a confirmation for a King Suite- max 2 adults! The suite I booked, of course, was non-refundable. The suite I got, as will all the other rooms were ALL refundable! Yet they had the nerve to scam me $2800! Just AWFUL! I called the Hotel and was told that the Presidential Suites had been booked up for at least weeks, yet even today they still list it for booking on their website! Priceline deserves a MASSIVE class action!

Priceline.com Fraudulent and misleading customer service representatives

I booked a reservation for family members over the phone and very specifically stated that it needed to be refundable - the person told me yes, could be cancelled and refunded by a specific date (which was a month out from the day I called to make reservations). I called again the next day as I never received an email confirmation and the person I spoke to said the reservation could not be cancelled without a penalty. I told them, that is not what was discussed and was told they would listen to the recording of the phone call I had with the person and call me back within 4 days - they never did! I called repeatedly asking the status and was given a runaround each time. 4 days before the out of state travel, I again called Priceline and was told that I could cancel the reservations (it was 3 rooms for family members traveling for a funeral). I wrote down the individual's name, and confirmation number. I immediately made new reservations through another travel sight (online and refundable). They never refunded the 3 rooms so now I have been charged for 3 rooms x 2. I filed a fraudulent charge claim with credit card but Priceline gave them the email that they sent me that the rooms were nonrefundable (which was never the case), and my credit card did not refund the charges. Anyone else have a similar situation with Priceline - would love to file a class action lawsuit for the repeated lying, and charges on my credit card.

Desired outcome: Refund of hotel charges

Priceline.com Long wait and no resolve

I spend 4+ hours waiting for priceline to help me find a flight for my grandma. She got covid last time she was supposed to fly to visit me in Florida from Portland.

She is finally ready to fly again and they told me I had a credit of $435ish for her next flight. I started talking to them at 2 pm and after being on hold for hours and having multiple call backs its 6:45 pm and they just now told me they cannot honor the $435. They said it expired and that I have to call Delta and figure it out. AFTER 4+ HOURS OF TALKING TO THEM! And when I asked to be transferred to a supervisor they transferred me to another agent pretending to be a supervisor and wasted another 30 minutes of my time. How completely gross and rude this company is. My entire day ruined and wasted and all I want is for my grandma to visit me in Florida before she passes. She is 86 years old and has never been here. This company is a joke. Waste of my time. I dont have time to waste but I guess they dont give a [censored]. All day on the phone for NOTHING!

Desired outcome: Get them to honor my credit and maybe give me back the hours and hours or time I wasted talking to the incompetent staff

Priceline.com Priceline booking

I booked on the Priceline site using Affirm. I booked a hotel package for two hotels, pre and post-cruise. The first hotel was in Barcelona, the second in Rome. After I paid using the virtual Affirm Visa Card-Priceline then outsourced the second hotel to booking.com. I began receiving emails form the hotel stating that I needed to pay them and that the credit card on file declined. After almost two weeks of trying to resolve this, I had to cancel the second hotel because I am on my cruise and don't have the resources to pay for the hotel when we disembark. The hotel says that I am still responsible. Priceline and booking.com refused to help me even after I provided proof that I paid and that the booking was indeed booked on the Priceline booking site. My initial loan was for approx $2500 with Affirm-which I still have to pay. That amount was requested due to the original quote for the trip which included airfare. However, another rep incorrectly processed the booking which resulted in me JUST booking the two hotel-that I am now having trouble with. THE IS A PRICELINE ERROE. I am now going to be stuck sleeping outside until my flight to US, which is two days after my cruise.

Priceline.com Very bad, unprofessional, dishonest, and irresponsible service by priceli.com customer service!

I had a flight tickets that I couldn’t use because of my serious illness. I contacted Priceline about a month before my scheduled flight and asked its customer service if I could reschedule my flights if I didn’t recover by the time of my departure. I was promised by a Priceline customer service representative that I would be able to reschedule my flights 24 hours before departure with a $150 fee without any problems. It happened to be completely incorrect and dishonest! I tried to contact Priceline a week before the departure to reschedule my flights because I needed to stay in Portugal for medical treatment for the next several months. It was very difficult to reach this company by phone. It was very difficult to communicate with this company's customer service because of the busy line, constant call disconnection, and very poor English language of many of the customer representatives! I had to spend more than 10 hours in five days in a row speaking with multiple representatives for nothing to finally be offered by the last representative a very limited time frame for rescheduling flights. This time frame was not good for me. However, I decided to reschedule my flights at a time that was not convenient for me in order not to lose my money completely. When I asked to reschedule my flights for the time allowed by Priceline, I got the price of $8176 for my new flights, which is more than 5 times more expensive than the price of $1537 for these flights available on priceline.com own website at that time! I was very upset and felt completely fooled. I asked for the name and company ID number of this representative, but she gave me only her first name of Avah without her last name or company ID number. I asked to speak with her manager or supervisor, but I was denied this right. I wanted to submit a complaint, but I couldn’t do it with this representative either! Furthermore, I think this company has very bad business practices and completely terrible, dishonest and irresponsible customer service with a very bad attitude towards the customers! I can’t recommend anyone do business with this company ever!

Priceline.com Airline Flights

Purchased two airline tickets of $279 each. A few days later I noticed I had been double charged for the flights. Specifically, they had charged be $279 four times. I contacted Priceline and was told to contact American Airlines because that’s who charged me. This is the second time this has occurred. If Priceline is the middle man making the purchase, they are the airline’s customer not me. I should not have to be on the phone with an airline company for two hours over a mistake PRICELINE made. Every time I call I am meant with “that’s not our problem”. Stop double charging people and making them go through such a hassle because you, Priceline, cannot do your job. Will never use this company again.

Priceline.com Vehicle rental

Completed a car rental through Priceline/Thrifty / express deal.

They clearly advertise, under 'Important Information'

This special rate is non-refundable.

The use of a debit card may be subject to certain requirements including, but not limited to, proof of round trip airline travel and additional forms of identification. Debit cards cannot be used as credit. Prepaid cards and cash are not accepted.

The driver will be required to present a valid credit or debit card in his/her name for the refundable security deposit.

Local renters are subject to mileage restrictions. You will have at least 100 free miles and mileage fees may be up to $0.55 for each additional mile. The exact amount will be disclosed after booking.

Some car companies have boundary restrictions.

Only the driver will be able to pick up the rental car at the counter and must present a valid driver's license in his/her name.

An additional driver can be added at the counter for a fee payable directly to the rental car company.

What they do not advertise, or draw to the consumers attention is that they do not allow any revisions to the booking. This is misleading, unfair and deceptive practice.

I have tried to resolve the dispute through the BBB - but they keep referring to the "Important Information" section, where is does NOT say this reservation cannot be modified. I am not trying to CANCEL the booking, and I'm not trying to change the rental days, just the pick up and drop off times!

Desired outcome: Priceline trip #: [protected]-16Confirmation #: K4904998894 Change the pick up time to 10:30 am and the drop off time to 4:30 pm.

Priceline.com Priceline doesnt wanna pay me my cancellation flight of 500$

Hi

its been 6 months that i dont have my money back. I called many times employess hung up on my face several times and no one calls me back" i wanna write a complaint about Melanie that is not doing her job at all.

I would like to inform you that the direction of West Jet told me that since i never took that flight the payment didnt go to them , that its you that has receive the money so i am entitle for a full refund without any air penalty. This is going to far for nothing. I am a layer by career and i dont have that much time because since 6 months i have been fighting for what belongs to me. Your company needs to stop calling West Jet because they have nothing to do with that now .

Priceline needs take their “ responsabilities “ due to that situation. Your company are not aloud to “ hold any money “ for a flight that was never taken.

I also know by fact that Priceline have been having many complaints and even lawsuit filed dur to several problems .

Best regards

Mr . Michel Da Silva
