Panera Bread Lunch catering - 8/28/2019

Hello - I ordered lunch from Panera Cafe #203991 for a meeting today (8/28/19) and was very disappointed. We've ordered meals from this cafe in the past and at times have had issues, but this time there were too many to let go.

My order # is [protected], placed yesterday morning for delivery today between 11:30 - 11:45 a.m. At 11:55 lunch was still not delivered, so I called and was informed the driver should be there shortly, they arrived at noon.

I ordered a chicken caesar salad and they didn't bring the dressing (which I didn't notice until driver left the 2nd time)

Didn't receive any baguettes as we've always received in the past

Drinks weren't brought with the order and the driver said she didn't know there were any drinks. She said she'd be back with the drinks. She comes back and brings only the half-gallon lemonade and half-gallon iced tea unsweetened. Did not bring the 12 individual bottles of water, nor did we get cups for the drinks.

I am requesting a refund for the 12 bottles of water that we didn't receive - which totaled $23.88.

I signed the receipt before knowing items were missing.

Panera Bread bagels

Asiago Bagels I purchased are burnt and only have a few specks of cheese. I purchase these all the time, and I've seen any that look like these did. I also purchased cinnamon crunch bagels too which also had minimal crunch on the top, but the Asiago were really bad.
These were all purchased in Hingham MA to go, I didn't notice until I got home. I need to be compensated as these are not cheap as far as bagels go, and these are inedible.

Panera Bread did not fit my order correctly

I was in a hurry and did not think I had to double-check the Panera servers' skill at serving. They shorted my order and we were 1 dinner short at my friend's get-together.
How do I get the $12 back that I wasted on sub-standard service? I love the food at Panera. It is healthy and tasty and the servings are quite adequate. But how can I return to a place who shorts my order and then doesn't respond when I complain? I believe that $12 + should be credited to my Panera card. Don't you?

Panera Bread spicy thai chicken salad

I spent my lunch hour driving from Binghamton to Vestal for a salad. I get back to work and the only thing on my salad is chicken and crispy strips with a quarter cup of dressing. No peanut sauce or vegetables or edamames. Im very disappointed. I will not be so quick next time to waste my lunch break. Spending ten dollars on a bowl of lettuce with a couple pieces of chicken isn't really my forte.

Panera Bread Breakfast rapid pick up and manager’s response to request for refund

I ordered breakfast for 9 people in my office for rapid pick up on Friday, August 23, 2019. I picked it up, but Panera forgot to give me the coffee tote I paid for (approx. $17.00). Also none of the sandwiches or wraps were marked or put in a separate bag so we had to open up each of the wraps (which all looked alike ) to try to identify them. Lastly, one of the orders was for a Chipotle chicken wrap with the avocado on the side. They did not put in on the side and left it out altogether. They also didn't identify that sandwich with the name of the person even though I gave them the name when I placed my order online.

I told all of the above to Tirene Jones, the manager on duty when I came in on Sun., Aug. 25, 2019 to obtain a refund of the coffee tote. Ms. Jones said they don't mark sandwiches for breakfast - only for lunch. She then proceeded to try to refund me $3.00 when the tote was $17.00. I told her I bought an entire coffee tote, not one cup of coffee. She then refunded the entire rest of the order ($70.24) when I only asked for a refund of the coffee tote, apparently because she didn't know how to refund just the coffee tote. I told her I didn't want the entire amount back, to which she stated she doesn't know how to give me the money back for just the tote. Thus, through no fault of my own, I didn't pay for any of my breakfast order. If someone from Panera contacts me who knows what they are doing, which apparently Ms. Jones does not, I will gladly come into the store and pay for my breakfast order, which is all I asked for in the first place.

Additionally, Ms. Jones had very poor customer service. At no time did she apologize for the store getting my order wrong or my inconvenience in having to come into the store to get a refund. I was surprised by her attitude because I am a long term Panera customer and I have found most Panera employees to be courteous with good customer service.

Panera Bread product availability

I often take advantage of the Tuesday Bagel special at my local Panera store ( 25875 Novi Rd, Novi MI 48375). It is convienent and I often stop on my way home from work usually around 14:30. At first they would have a limited selection of bagels but I could come up with a dozen. I was hoping it was just a hit or miss problem. Then it was getting progressively worse only 3-4 varities available. Todat at 14:40 they had 9 Asiago bagels left. The store is open until 10pm and yet at 14:30 in the afternoon they are sold out of bagels! You are quickly, losing a customer

Panera Bread incorrect order

We went through the drive through this morning and ordered a bagel and a sausage breakfast sandwich. When we got our order and had left my husband noticed his order was made with bacon. Our receipt specially said sausage, and the employee that took our order took it down correctly but somehow mixed it up once they gave it to us. It's not hard to read and get an order right. We were very frustrated at this point as this is not the first time it's happened. Panera is typically great at getting orders right but this was annoying. They were not busy at all and our order wasn't complicated.

Panera Bread management

I went to Panera in Wall Township Sunday July 28, 2019 @ 4:13pm.
While making my order I was appalled at the manner in which the Manager was speaking to the two teenaged workers behind the counter. He was short and rude to them. He had interactions with about 4 of the workers and was equally rude to them all. Management should lead in customer service. The young people working for them should be learning valuable skills from them to use for future employment. The only thing these young people are learning is how to be angry. I was disappointed to see this.

Panera Bread wrong food/ bad customer service

I went through the drive thru around noon today and ordered a Diet Coke and half chicken poppyseed dressing salad. I finally received my food and pulled over to eat my lunch before my next business appointment. Unfortunately I received the wrong food. My Coke was a regular- not diet. So I drove through and waited in line AGAIN. Then at the window was told she could not accept the large regular coke back. What am I supposed to do with it I replied. She told me I had to throw it out myself. I drive a two seater 645 BMW with ONE cup holder! I had to try and drive with my Diet Coke that I originally ordered. Really Panera? I spent 11.00 dollars on this poor excuse for a salad and bad customer service? Will never go to a Panera again!

Panera Bread broccoli cheddar soup

Yesterday (7/24/19) I ate lunch at the above Panera Bread location. I had the soup/salad combo. I didn't finish the soup, so I took the leftovers home using Panera's "to go" containers. Last night when I was eating the reheated soup, I found that I was chewing on something other than food. I found that I was chewing on a sticky label of some sort. I am so grossed out by this that I will never be able to eat at a Panera Bread again. I seek financial compensation for this incident.

Panera Bread attitude/customer service

7-15-2019.Order number 480. Sherie. I don't go for lunch there often. But, when I do I always ask for a mayo packet and a pickle. I was told pickles only come on the full sandwiches, but I always get a half. I know they are always busy, but my requests are not a big deal. And I have no problem paying for these items, if that is the case. But typically I can an attitude, or an ugly face (Which is unacceptable, especially if it is coming from a manager). I don't need anything free, I just want them to know.

Panera Bread service

On two consecutive visits I ordered once fine kiosk and once st counter and both times service was poor getting food out. The kiosk order was a soup and salad at lunch time and after waiiing 20 minutes, I inquired at the food delivery counter since my name was not even on the preparing board and the response was "you just need to wait your turn". Today I ordered a hot chocolate with a breakfast soufflé. It here were approx 8 people eating in dining area and after waiting 10 minutes for the drink I again went to counter and was told it takes time to
Make the drink and I needed to wait. I responded that I had been waiting 10 minutes and my food was getting cold. Clerk responded that I had not waited 10 minutes. Then when the buzzer went off a few minutes later and I waited st the counter another clerk told her I was at the counter and The original clerk says " too bad. She is just going to have to be patient. I have been a loyalty member for many years and this a very new Panera's and really hate to stop patronizing this location but will probably had over to Starbucks. I just though that your company deserves the chance to improve a new location before you lose more business. Thank you

Panera Bread employee selling pills and weed at store

Jermaine Jackson, who is employee at 1333 centennial ave, Piscataway, nj, 08554 is using weed during work at you work place, also sell it during work and I can prove to you he is doing drug, needs to be fired, cause I am goin going to report it to the police and notify the manager if no action taking I don't want the store to be in trouble cause he selling to customers and employees... so I'm making you aware of it so you can get rid of him. I can prove it to you guys if needed. You can email me at [protected]@gmail.com . I have messages between employees him selling and you can make him take a drug test in site so he won't try to go drink something to take it out his system I have pictures and video to prove this.

Panera Bread dirty outdoor area

I spend a lot of time in the Kingston, NY store - during the summer I always sit outside on the patio. There are many cafe options in my area, and I choose Panera during the summer months because of the outdoor area. This is now my third complaint, and nothing has changed: the outdoor area is filthy. There are literally 60 pieces of trash (napkins, straw papers, butter containers, bags, cigarette butts, soggy things from a rainstorm a week ago). From my seat now I can see actual gnawed chicken bones. It's bad - not a small problem, really unpleasant. The interior is beautifully managed; I cannot understand why this area is totally ignored. It would take 10 minutes each morning to do a quick pick-up and sweep. Please fix this - after 10 years I will soon go somewhere else.

Panera Bread service

Yesterday was the second time I went to the location on South Post Oak and San Felipe I don't know why they are so stingy with the salad dressing I don't know why I get salad dressing it's already in the small container and the container is half empty I asked for extra salad dressing because I needed it I didn't need the container so why is Panera Bread so stingy with their salad dressing just sell it by the bottle so I don't have to leave this nonsense complaint I'm so over you guys but I came up with a great idea just don't go to Panera oh great idea

Panera Bread customer service/employee

I placed an order for delivery and upon checking out I noticed there was no delivery charge so I called the store. I explained the issue to the employee who put me on hold and then came back to say the store no longer offers deliveries after 3pm. I asked that the order be canceled. She said ok but I insisted on waiting for confirmation of the cancellation. She put me on hold again and came back to the phone with a nasty attitude and argued that I didn't order delivery. I had to ask for the manager repeatedly. The manager explained that the girl was confused which is fine but I do not appreciate the unprofessionalism and having to argue with someone who's intellect is clearly questionable. I have had multiple issues with delivery at this location with the same employee and her attitude however in person service has always been great with everyone else. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Panera Bread employees & customer service

Incident number 1. 6/15/2019 at 6 pm, Incident 2. was tonight 6/29/19 at 7:18 pm.
I went to Panera at East Ridge Road Rochester, NY tonight. I ordered a Strawberry Chicken Salad with poppyseed dressing (large) with bread at the drive through. I got home and was eating my salad, they had sliced tomatoes in it, I absolutely dislike tomatoes. They also gave me chips instead of bread. I called back to speak to a manager & was told to call back later as he was on break. I called back 30 minutes later & he was still on break. I had to go purchase my dinner elsewhere as I couldn't get it rectified.

This was the 2nd time in 2 weeks I have had trouble there. The last time I watched the staff making my food through the drive thru window play catch with my sandwiches, which were dropped on the floor then picked up & put in the bag and then delivered to me. I complained & was told it didn't happen, while I watched it happen. I have worked in food service for years & this is unacceptable. We have watched the employees at this establishment go down hill in the last 6 months. They have a problem paying attention to the customers instead of having a good time, flirting with each other & playing games etc. back there.

Panera Bread containers/packages of single serve butter

Cafe # 600735, location Naperville, Illinois Date 6/26/19.

My wife and I frequent this location on a regular basis; we love your healthy food options. I'd like to voice a compliment and a concern. First of all, I'd like to acknowledge "Jordon" who was at the register when we first entered. She was very positive and upbeat and handled taking out order with precision. Her friendliness was contagious . And may I mention that our order was delivered to our booth shortly after we sat down; hats off to the team working in the kitchen and food prep area. Our food was great, except when I opened a single serve package of butter that I had gotten over by the empty plastic cups. It looked as though there was a moldy spot on the upper white container. Then it got me checking out that the container the butter was kept in was not cold/chilled nor was any of the individual butter packages . Is it your operational policy to keep the butter cold/chilled ? I did return this package of butter to Jordon, who in turn gave it to the manager in charge. Sorry, I didn't get his name. He would shortly thereafter track me down and tell me that the black spot inside the single serve package of butter was not mold. I don't know. I've spent 37 years working in the retail food business, mostly in management, and we've always had to sell butter refrigerated.

Panera Bread quantity of items

I would like to understand why Panera Bread does not prepare a large enough quantity of their most popular items such as the Soufflé's.. If you know that they sell out fast why not prepare more than 4 of each of the 4 different types(?) It's so frustrating that when I come in they are all sold out and for them to prepare more is ALWAYS a 30-45 minute wait. That's just ridiculous to me.

I went into the Pacific Commons location this morning, and it was 3 of the spinach and artichoke soufflé. It was 2 customers before me. 1 customer ordered 2 of them, and the 2nd customer ordered the last one. When it was my time to order, I said to the guy at the register, "please tell me you have more", he looked at me and said nope that was the last one, we are all sold out. He didn't say anything more!

Panera Bread - Pacific Commons in Fremont, PLEASE start preparing more of the Soufflé's as you see they are a VERY popular item.

Panera Bread online ordering/management team

I placed a large online order at 11:37 am and the confirmation indicated it would be ready at 11:47 am. I knew that wouldn't be possible, so I showed up 40 minutes later. I inquired about my order and Mercedes (I believe a manager) went to the computer for several minutes and came back and said the large order was just placed at 11:37 so there is no way it could be ready in 10 minutes. I explained I understood and that's why I came 40 minutes later. Realizing what time, it was, Mercedes explains the order frozen on the screen and wasn't processed, but if I gave her 15 minutes she would pull the order together. Mercedes did exactly that, she worked quickly to pull the order together. However, when the order was ready, she simply called my name with no apology, or concession… just pushed the bag towards me. I said thank you, but then asked if we were going to receive some sort of concession. She smiled and said what do you want. I asked what she felt was fair, and she said I could give you a couple of drinks. I quickly asked myself which out of the 7 people did she feel deserved a drink... I smiled and said never mind and asked for her name in which she happily provided. I work for a restaurant company and this experience is unacceptable. This experience will have me thinking twice before ordering again.
