I received from [protected]@gmail.com an unexpected invoice

for $ 299.99 against Order ID [protected] for Renewal Norton 360 Full Protection.

I suspect that this is an error.

Currently, I am not a Norton Customer and I DENY having ever placed a renewal order of any kind.

Norton Norton lifelock and norton driver updater

When I checked my business account a few days after the transaction took place which was on Tue 25 Jul 2023, I logged in and installed the Norton LifeLock application and then when I started using the product, I realized that someone else had access to it. I ran smart scan a few times and then it brought a list of outdated drivers that had to be removed and I paid for the updater. However, these products cause more problems to my computer than before, and I noticed profiles switched between 1 and 2 automatically. When the laptop was on Profile 2, saving passwords turned on, payment cards or details turned on etc., causing security issues to the laptop. So, I checked the business category of the company and was surprised to find anti-virus program and other computer related products grouped under the unreal category - Hotels, motels, and resorts. While the bank receipt of the first purchase showed 'Hotels, motels, and resorts, the second bank receipt did not show a business category at all. The first billing info showed that119.99 was taken from my card on July 25, 2023, however the bank receipt showed a debit of $109.99. The business is suspicious, and the product is not working.

Desired outcome: Refund and cancelling of the purchase. Will be notifying the bank to dispute this transaction as there were no notifications about autorenewal before the direct debit thereby making it unauthorized.

I installed this, and now, I can't access most of my sites (credit cards, banking) and my password saving programs do not work. You literally made my pc a pile of junk. It also changed the size on my display, and eliminated my tool bar. I managed to get that back, but my computer is almost useless. I reverted and uninstalled the driver update program, but it made no difference. I have used Norton for many years, and am VERY upset with this!

Norton Norton deluxe

I was unable to create an account because account under my email was taken, however when trying to recover account it said no account under that email.

Escalated issue with customer support July 5. Case # [protected]

I was informed i would be contacted in 48-72 hrs. No response. I have since called 6 times; each time saying I will get a call and resolution in 48-72hrs. Still no response or resolution. It is now been over a month trying to get a 12month subscription set up.

The support team has been absolutely useless when it comes to resolving the issue and basic communication. No one seems to know anything about the product, who to contact about issues or basic customer support.

Norton Paying $649.99 June 13,2023 and July 28,2023

On June 13, 2023 I renewed my Subscription and on July 27, There was and

advertisement for a free upgrade for the life of my subscription on line which I thought would be until June of 2024. And was charged again $649.99

My account said on the July order that I could request a refund but I have not

been able to talk with anyone from the telephone number that was on the order.

Norton has lousy customer service. I tried 4 different customer service numbers and after 10 minutes of so-called waiting for an agent a disconnection occurred. The first number that happened on had a message that said an application error has occurred- goodbye. The next 3 numbers the call juts disconnected after 10 minutes with no message. It's a big bloated company that can't see its own shoes anymore to see it's standing at the bottom rung in the customer satisfactory category.

Norton Cost of Norton after first year of Subscription

If I go to your website and look at the cost of renewing is about $110 but for me as a customer that has stayed with you my renewal is $258. There should be no difference in cost for new customer compared to customers you already have.

I can't cancel the automatic payment unless I cancel my subscription. You also want to debit my chosen payment a month before it is even due.

This absolutely ridiculous. There is no point in me being loyal to Norton so it seems I will be shopping around each year for the best deal

Norton Subscription Renewal

I have received a Service Notification by post to advise me that you have been unable to contact me about the upcoming renewal of Norton 360 Standard at the email address I provided.

The renewal billing date is 04/08/23 and the subscription renewal date is 08/09/23.

I do not wish to renew my subscription but I am unable to log into my account as it was linked to an email associated with my business which has now closed.

I have spent 30 minutes on the phone to one of your agents at the number given on your notification - [protected] - at the end of which I am no further forward as your agent was unable to help me.

I do not work any more, I am 75 years old and in poor health. I apologise if I have omitted to provide you with information previously, however, you will not be able to send me a new bill and I will not be able to stop you from taking the money from my account.

Desired outcome: I want it confirmed that the renewal will not go ahead and that no payment will be taken.

Norton Pro rated refunds not given

A Norton customer since 2009, I recently got a new computer which came with McAfee installed. I no longer needed my old computer or the Norton subscription, so I called to request a pro-rated refund of my annual auto-renewed subscription fee. It renewed 81 days ago. They refused to give me any money back stating that customers only have 60 days from the date of renewal to cancel.

Norton NORTON 360

First of all, whether i use all caps or not is my choice! second i have to use all caps for a good reason. With that being said this issue has been going on for about 2 days now so i cannot provide the date nor the time of this incident. And i need another way to file this complaint because yall do not give enough space to file the details of my issue with yall! But i will let you know this, yall sure are demanding arent yall?

Desired outcome: A FULL REFUND FOR EVERY DIME I HAVE SPENT WITH YALL AND A LESS CONFUSING SYSTEM. AND FOR YOUR LITTLE QUESTION BOXES TO BE A LOT LESS ARROGANT.

Norton Norton

I haven't had anything to do with Norton in over 6 years. Yesterday I noticed $194.99 was taken from a bank account I never gave to Norton.

I get a email thanking me for automatic renewing a subscription. I never authorised any such thing. I had previously only used Pre Paid from the store.

I contacted my bank and spoke to the fraud team who advised that Norton have a reputation of doing this to people 3 or 4 years go bye and a all of a sudden money is stolen from your bank account. How do they get my banking details. I deliberately buy only pre paid so they cant have my bank details. Being a pensioner this really left me short on funds which has caused so much stress. As a security measure my bank has closed my account down. Norton are dodgy in their dealings. I will never ever buy another product from Norton and will advise all friends and family to be aware. NORTON WILL RIP YOU OFF.

Norton stole money from me and its been 6 years since I had last used them

Desired outcome: I would love my money back. I would love a big apology and I would like to know how my bank account details were on their files.

Norton Norton 360

I purchased your Norton 360 from Amazon on July 26,2022 a year subscription

I was billed again from my 1st. bank account again on October 31,22 for

$113.37 Since then you have billed me on my Wells Fargo credit card for $108.19 You did not have my permission for this charge. I want it refunded back to my card as well as the October payment of $113.37. I have never thought I would be in a place where a company would keep charging without permission .

If this isn't refunded back to my account I will turn this I will turn this into our BBB

Norton Refund, apology

I couldn't get into my account after changing my mobile number. Norton couldn't change this for me. Norton suggested opening a new account, however Norton couldn't do this for me. Norton suggested I contact customer support via chat. Norton couldn't do this for me. Norton suggest I ring the telephone support. The telephone numbers didn't want. After many hours with "Norton Customer Support" Norton did not help. Norton refused to provide a refund. Awful. Long time customer to never returning customer.

Norton Automatic Renewals

Hi

I have an online account with Norton and had packages automatically renewed today (07/07/2023 ) without prior warning. I was emailed an invoice covering the two Norton packages I have been using for one year (Norton 360 Standard and Utilities Ultimate). I wish to keep Norton 360 Standard but I want the Utilities Ultimate to be cancelled and refunded as I do not use this enough. Invoice Reference AP1473045978.

I have been trying all day to resolve this issue online but the options available on line are not user friendly. I can't resolve it by phone as I am hard of hearing.

I would also like prior warning of future renewals.

Norton Norton 360 - Cloud Backup

I have had Norton installed on my computers for a few years. The reason for initially acquiring Norton was for its cloud backup capability as a I have several big files that are the product of many years of work.

My computer drive failed so I restored my files into a new drive. Many of the files were restored except for a few big files with extension .slx, .m, and .mlx. I can conclude that Norton is not capable to backup all type of files and it is not transparent about this concern.

I will have to go through an outside agency to try to recover my files from the drive that failed. I need Norton to reimburse me for any expenses associated with the recovery of my files and to compensate me for the inconvenience.

Case numbers [protected] and [protected]

30th may 2023 requested refund of subscription after repeated requests for assistance. Third phone call after three call chats, I was promised refund t be in my account within 10 days. 15/6 contacted by phone again, claimed refund had failed. (no contact) advised that it would be another ten days. How many times will it be delayed.

Norton Norton 360

I have had a case number for not being able to launch a scan on my PC for most of the year. Norton has been in my PC remotely on 3 or 4 occasions and (although promising the problem is now solved) they have not been able to resolve the situation. I am promised updates and phone calls that never happen. Every time I inquire what progress has been made, I'm told they're on it and don't worry, I'll hear something soon. I get no phone calls, I get no emails. Norton customer service is the crappiest I've ever had to endure.

Norton Norton lifelock password manager

On 14th May 2023 I talked to a person from Norton Support. After a long wait to connect.

The person renewed my subscription for 12 Months.

Ever since that call i have no access to my passwords !

When i try to login it tries to create a new vault.

I have over 50 passwords and need them to access my Bank Accounts, Pay Bills, check medical refunds, etc.

It has caused an extreme inconvenience and i am concerned who has access to my passwords.

I have connected to Norton support several times and have honestly spent about 5 hours with them trying to get access to my passwords.

They have escalated the fault to level 2, which could not fix it.

Now it has been escalated to software support.

Every time i connect via chat and finish unresolved they tell me somone will call me back in the next 48 to 72 hours, so i have to wait again.

Several times i have organized a call back time and nobody calla or even. updates me with progress info.

The phone number is always busy.

i am desperate to get my passwords back as it is severely impacting my ability to function in an online world.

I trusted and paid for Norton to look after confidential information, and they have failed.

Norton Norton 360

My expiry date is listed as 04/07/2023. On the 19th of February 2023 you graciously offered me a 60 extension. Which should mean my expiry date is 01/09/2023.

Tried to contact via chat but will not connect. Suggests that lack of connection is due to my cookie preferences. Much to my annoyance I have changed my browser preferences to allow cookies and third party cookies. Still cant get through.

I am being constantly harassed to change my stored card information and threaten with immediate lose of protection. I have been a customer for over twenty years. It seems to me they are trying to making contact with them very difficult. It is a shame but I must consider alternatives after being a long term customer.

Desired outcome: Expiry date to recognised 60 days extension. Stop sending threats to a long standing customer.

I can’t be specific because all I see is $83 charge from Norton. That’s all it says. When I called them they gave me the runaround and they want a transaction number and I can give it to them because my bank doesn’t give me transaction numbers they have brought me $83. I don’t use their service. I have a McAfee that comes with my T-Mobile account. Can you please assist me I need my money back I want Social Security and it’s horrible. I will tell you that the charges on May 4 12:30 pm

Desired outcome: I want my $83 back. I didn’t order the service and I don’t want it if this thing as a way to download a photo I will.

Norton VPN

I bought a year of Norton VPN but after a couple of months it stopped working. After literally hours and hours on the phone with ostensible tech experts in India, I got no help to fix it. I then wanted to cancel the service and get my pro-rated money back but they refused — just kept giving me empty promises that they could fix the problem. It is ridiculous. There are many excellent VPNs available — don't get Norton.

Norton Norton utilities

I have two utility programs on my PC, Norton Utilities 16 and Norton Utilities Premium. I have been using these programs for many, many years. They were paid for and provided as stand-alone programs with no updates. I still have receipts! Norton issued an update for my Norton 360 program this week and as a result codes were sent to each of these programs and both were deactivated and will no longer function. Knowing that this was an intentional and illegal act by Norton, I have saved the information regarding the update that caused this action and have sent copies to a friend who will do a follow up for possible fraud. I have no choice in taking these actions because Norton has taken what is lawfully mine. This action is also a violation of Norton’s own policies! Unless there is a replacement program provided to replace those that were disabled Norton has committed a serious crime. I will close my Norton account later next week when my new software arrives. How do you sleep at night?
