Bitdefender paying bill with credit card

I received as email telling me my auto payment for Bit Defender on 12-19-23 .

I have tried to change to a different credit card as the one you have on file is no longer valid.

After logging into Bit Defender to change my card, I was sent to another website. 2 checkout which is now Verifone. Followed instructions to change credit card and clicked on Payment Methods and then clicked on Billing and online payment assistance. But could find no where to put in a new valid credit card. NONE

How do I ad a different credit card? Verifone site does not work as shown and does not bring up a page where I can remove one credit card and add another that will work. Otherwise when you try to do auto pay, it will fail.

Bitdefender I fear it is my lack of knowledge in using the computer program that is causing me problems.

I signed up for Bit Defender Premium VPN on August 4, 2023. I got a bunch of affirmation printing, but I can not find my account number and I have not received a email telling me how to download the new program. I have not seen any charges to my credit card account either. Can someone please help me straighten this out?

Bitdefender Bitdefender Total Security

Bitdefender has pulled this Auto Renew scam on me for the last two years where they charged me without auto renew authority. They do this on purpose so they can charge more. If you complain to them and make them refund you, the price to get a new subscription is substantially cheaper.

I will not be renewing my subscription with them anymore and will choose a different software. Their tactics include making it almost impossible to use their websites contact link to cancel auto renew because it is nothing more than a merry-go-round for customers. It is obviously deliberate ploy on their part much like why Amazon got sued over making it very difficult for their customers to cancel a Prime membership.

Desired outcome: Cancel my auto renew which according to them in a recent email to me, they are planning on using on me once again.

Bitdefender Bitdefender box 2 license

For weeks now I email you company. Trouble Ticket [protected]. Not sure why the tech department assume all customers don’t know that they are reading my replies to each email. First off I called and reported that my Bitdefender Box 2 is reporting that I need a license code. I have tried over 22 times to reset the Bitdefender back to factor settings. Each time durning the setup. Setup 6 of 7 says License code.

Yet each email that I get no reads my reply. Example I have explained I’m on the West Coast I working in a medical clinic and not get home till 6:50 pm West Coast time. Your canned replies never ever respond to that factor! Funny if this was any other company this issue would have been resolved. By simply emailing me a license code. I have paid for my Bitdefender till 2025. Yet I’m unable to use the service I paid for! If there is a human there that cares for this company and actually providing service for what is an amazing product but your tech support is [censored]!

Bitdefender Bitdefender Total Security for 12 month

Last year I bought this service for € 26.89.

Everything went fine. I hardly noticed Bitdefender besides getting a message that they had blocked something.

Now I realised that they had charged my account with € 71,42 for a further year.

I was only informed about this charge on the same day and as much as I know I never agreed to an automatic deal extension and certainly not to a charge three times as much.

I have sent a couple of emails to customer support but only received systems responds stating that the German customer service will constact me. Nothing happened. This has been going on now for 3 weeks.

What I don't understand is that a company providing internet security is not talking care of their customer. The Bitdefender brand should project trust, reliability, security but in regards to customer support they just do the opposite. I will stay away and can only recommend others to do the same.

Bitdefender Unauthorized credit card charging

I unsubscribe from bitdefender and vpn a month ago and remove the application from my devices. But today I was charged by explanation it is automated renewal. And while I try to enter web page with my mail address it shows that I’m not subscribed. I request company to refund me charged amount. At the moment my account is not active, I don’t understand why company is charging me and taking money from my credit card.

Bitdefender VPN

When using BD VPN while downloading, the bandwidth I realize is terrible. DL speeds of 128 kb/s are the norm. With competitor VPN my DL Speed for the identical file is 2.2Mb/s, or the maximum I can realize with my internet connection. I have brought this up to support on more than 1 occasion, and have been ignored even after sending log file from my computer. Ofcourse agents have passed the buck by saying not everyones computers work alike, which is true, but we are discussing a feature of software which I paid for, that does not work correctly, and lieing to me does not make situation better. Had the fact that other competitors VPN software clearly functions correctly with identical files and software not been tested and documented, they have a point.

Since BD support has made every attempt to ignore me, I have been left with no option but to write unfavorable reviews.
Let us make this position very clear. I have asked for assistance, I have jumped through every hoop presented by support agents, have been cutoff when asking the hard questions (oh I didn't do that), have not once or twice sent log files with goodness knows what private info, but 3 different times (ignored each time) or just no response made. This last fact raises the question as to whether this mysterious next level of support even exists (seems unlikely).

The bottom line here is simple Bitdefender sold me sub-standard product, and will not support, and even though I asked for a refund, not once but twice, seems to elude these bandits. They are really good at sending automated emails that parrot complaints, but do not expect an intelligent response.

Desired outcome: AS I have stated numerous times I want software to work as well as competitors, after all I paid MORE for BD. If they are unable to provide what I paid for, then give me my money back.

Bitdefender Auto renewal total system

I cancelled my account prior to renewal date of Dec 19 2022. I removed credit card and email showed no associated account. My renewal date was Dec 19. I have now been charged on 12/30/22 for a full year renewal in amount of $102.11. I am requesting full immediate refund. My email [protected]@aol.com shows no associated account. There should never been a charge on a code it card that had been removed.

Desired outcome: Full immediate refund $102.11 and verification account will not be charged again.

Bitdefender bitdefender security

I have been overcharged for total security and vpn x 2 as the system did not update my payments and maintain my subscription as a result i have paid for vpn and total security twice. tonight the subscriptions stopped working all together.

I would like a refund on the 1st payment as tonight i purchased it cheaper.

your system failed to update my subscription and as a result ended them all.

after much confusion i thought it was my error but it is yours.

please process refund immediately

Bitdefender Updates

I am so sick of Bitdefender! At least several times a day, my computer gets bogged down to the point it barely operates and why? BITDEFENDER! Every time it does an update download which is at least several times a day, it completely uses up all my resources and leave me without the ability to do anything on my computer. I actually have to go into my security options and stop the Bitdefender update process so I can once again use my computer! I am cancelling my subscription and have already went into my credit card system and canceled any chance of them renewing my subscription automatically after reading all the complaints here about their 'renewal process'. Run, don't walk away from this disaster of a service!

Bitdefender Unauthorised payment taken by Bitdefender

I had bitdefender total security but cancelled it because I did not like the product, I also cancelled the direct debit. On November 8th at 14:53 Bitdefender took £54.99 from my bank account as a debit card purchase, they had no right taking this as I have no subscription and no direct debit set up for them. I have a screenshot showing my subscription expired so this transaction is unlawful and I want my money back. I have already contacted my bank about this so they have 15 days from today's date to respond to my complaint.

Bitdefender VPN

First of all - trying to establish contact with someone with whom you have an actual exchange (and not a "virtual person"/machine) results in an endless circle of "Contact Us" located in various places as you move through one page after another of links - all of which lead round and round and round to various pre-chosen links that (in my case) had noting to do with my issue.

Secondly - this company I think is headquartered in Romania so someone should tell them the above isn't how to do business in the USA. It's fine to have various hyperlinked portals on various pages to try and research how to solve a problem, but WHEN THAT FAILS - there needs to be staff available to have an actual exchange with a customer !

Third - and finally to my issue - the VPN will NOT reconnect after the computer goes to "sleep" when it "wakes up". An ERROR message appears - and when you go to BidDefender's "Read More" hyperlink - you get all kinds of non-help entries that don't apply because not one of the issues they present deals with the fact the VPN WAS WORKING until the computer went to "sleep" and wouldn't connect with taken out of "sleep" mode.

All of this - is because BitDefender seems to be a pretty good product - but I'm no sure if I will renew because when there is a problem - there is NO ONE to talk with about it if all other arrangements they currently provide (no person-to-person contact) fail - they need to "up-their-game" and provide it.

Send this to them - and thanks.

Desired outcome: BitDefender managenent will take this "constructive" criticism, pay attention and improve their product accordingly by offering better ways to "Contact Us"

I have just encountered the same access issues when I realized my VPN subscription was not activated. Someone or someTHING cancelled/refunded the my Premium VPN subscription without my knowledge and since this is my first year with them, I had no idea I was on the free version (which shuts down every day after minimal usage). I thought Premium VPN was horrible and wanted to cancel it. Trying to locate a CS phone number was very difficult and appeared quite intentional. Once I found the numbers and called (954.414.9655 and 954.928.2780), the rep was minimally helpful. I am convinced their phone lines are there ONLY to defer back to their email system/means on handling issues. He could barely relay info related to my account and the ONLY option he gave me was to wait for an email from their "escalated" level of CS. I requested a note be made for a call back in lieu of email and he said NO - no calls are possible from their CS departments. Therefore, we are all left with ZERO reps with a pulse to discuss issues with, in order to have reasonably quick resolutions. I will NOW not take the advice of these online computer geek magazines and polls because they have not bothered to investigate these companies' customer service departments (or lack thereof). Instead, these so-called educated industry critics have left many that trusted their opinions unpleasantly surprised and in the dark when problems arise. Bitdefender SUCKS! Bitdefender SUCKS! Bitdefender SUCKS!...and so do the "professionals".

Bitdefender End of my "Bitdefender Antivirus PC Lifetime Edition" license

Hello, I bought a Bitdefender Antivirus PC Lifetime Edition in 2017-09-30 and yesterday, my antivirus program didn't work anymore and ask me to

BUY A NEW LICENSE..

I haven't changed computer, my pc is the same and a PC Lifetime License must be for the lifetime of my computer,

This is a clear violation of the contract's term, i paid for my PC lifetime and not only for 5 years...

So i want a solution, eg a total refund of the 24.96 euros I paid for a service (a license) you end without any warning or commercial rights.

If not satisfied with your answer, i will do my best to post that commercial dubious use on as many social network, so that futur clients won't be ripped off and won't use Bitdefender.

I will sue the company as well, in order to understand and to be refund

I think it's totally unprofessional the way your complaint system is set up. This is now the 3rd time I get an email to say my complaint is missing important information where as it is not. Please get someone to attend to my query unless you want me to take further action!

If you still find this complaint difficult to read then I am lost as to what else you need me to supply...

I purchased the above on 17/03/22 for an entire year, only to find out recently from our pc technician that the Bitdefender was never activated.

I have since made another plan.

Please refund me R1,399.99.

Bitdefender Unauthorised Credit Card deduction

I have contacted Bitdefender 3 days ago and left my personal details and yet no body has returned my calls.

Bitdefender made an unauthorised and fraudulent credit card withdrawal for a renewal which is over double the price of the advertised specials for the same package. I’ve reported this to my bank and still awaiting on Bitdefender to respond to my voice mail message.

This is the worst level of service I’ve seen considering my complaint and the fact that this is considered fraud.

I look forward to your call and explanation.

Bitdefender Bitdefender Computer Tune-Up

I purchased a Bitdefender VIP Support previously to have my PC tuned up. I wasn't asked for the make and model of my PC and my internet speed. Four days later, I was asked now the make and mode of the PC and my internet speed and seeing that my ping to their server of choice was 210 ms, they outright told me that I didn't meet the requirements of having the service that I already paid for.

It's already weird that you were able to offer the same service to me without any issues and now you're now.

I live in the Philippines. Despite having different ISP with 4 days in between (4 Days ago, PLDT 600 Mbps & today, Globe Telecom 400 MBls), it wasn't a problem with Eduard I to do his job and proceed with the Computer Tune Up for 3 hours.

Your website for the Premium Services never says anything about minimum requirements for internet speed. It says "Stable high speed internet connection" . My internet is stable! So that means that anybody outside of Romania is [censored]ed and not able to avail the Premium Services?

Bitdefender Total security

The product (bitdefender) presents a serious flaw when a specific setting is set (alert mode on).

I provided customer support with videos with screen records very clearly showing when and how it happens.

Customer support ignores them and provides incorrect orientation and no solution, wasting our time and effort and leaving us unattended.

We're very dissatisfied.

The auto-renewal one year later was $94. I would like to see a refund, but having read a number of reviews, I don't expect them to respond at all. Order number was [protected].
