In Feb of 2023 I purchased a $10 international roaming credit; this was never applied to my plan.

I used their chat feature to complain and was assured the credit would get applied but it never was.

On 1 October, I called and spoke to the rudest, most condescending support representative I have ever encountered. He claimed that international roaming credits “do not last forever” and that there was nothing on their site that said they did. When I pointed him to the Mint URL that said they do last forever, he accused me of going to a fraudulent website.

I then referred him to the Mint Mobile App which said exactly the same thing and he said that I he “couldn’t see that” on the app.

When I asked to be put through to a supervisor, he wouldn’t do it. I asked for a complaints procedure and a phone number or other contact details I could use; he gave me a bogus, non-Mint phone number. He then hung up on me.

I moved to Mint Mobile and the speed is much better. I can actually use my phone now. And the prices are really good. Not a ton of frills, but I don't need them. I get a good amount of data for the price and the service is reliable. The only issue is that sometimes I have trouble with getting reception in rural areas, but overall, I'm really happy with Mint Mobile.

So, here's the dealio with Mint Mobile. They've got some pretty sweet plans if you're into saving some dollars. I mean, who isn't? Plus, their website is easy-peasy to navigate and their customer service peeps are on point.

Also, quick heads up for y'all planning to get on board with Mint Mobile. The pricing they advertise is just a promo. After you finish the first 3 months, they'll increase the price. So keep that in mind, fam.

Overall, this situation left a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm just keeping it straight with y'all. It's important to know what you're getting into with these phone services. Keep it real.

So let me tell you, Mint Mobile ain't providing much in the way of assistance. I hit them up to send back some of the SIM cards I got from them. But what did they do instead? They cancelled everything. And now I got nada, zilch, zip when it comes to cell service. Plus, turns out they don't have customer service all day, every day like some companies. So if you need them and they're out to lunch, you're finding out the hard way. Meanwhile, Mint Mobile is continuing to operate and fund their business using my money when I have not even received any services.

Overall, my experience with Mint Mobile has been nothing short of a disaster and the worst experience I have ever had with a mobile service provider. If you are thinking about giving them your money, I strongly suggest that you reconsider. From my experience, it seems that all they do is invent excuses to avoid refunding you. So, if you don't like the idea of throwing your money away, steer clear of Mint Mobile.

So, I recently got myself a new Samsung phone through Mint Mobile. The deal of getting 1 year service with it was really lucrative and I couldn't resist it. However, I've been facing a few problems. The charging connection of the phone is defective and doesn't work anymore. And the worst part? My phone is not even connecting to my wifi properly, which makes it impossible for me to use it. To be very honest, I'm really disappointed with this. I thought Mint Mobile was a good company. But my experience tells me otherwise.

As for me, I went for Mint because it seemed like a great deal- $15 per month seemed affordable for me at this time, given my current unemployed status. Plus, when I checked their website, it showed that they had service in my town. But then came the first problem- there was actually no service in my town. It took one long hour for them to fix it. I was this close to pulling out, but somehow they convinced me to stay. They set up my service through Bend, Oregon, and it seemed to work fine. But now, after just a month, my phone is giving me all sorts of trouble. I can't text, there's no internet connection, and I can't even download apps. I've been trying to get a refund, but now I have to accept that I missed the 7 day-cancellation deadline. So, I'm pretty much stuck with a faulty phone and a year's worth of wasted money.

Honestly, the customer service is really bad. They only know how to say 'no'. It's like talking to a brick wall. I think customer service has gone down after COVID. Honestly, I feel like I made a mistake. My mom has Tracfone as her provider, and she only pays $7 per month. Her phone is old, but she still gets service, and can play videos, text, and get on the internet with ease. So, maybe the smart move would've been to go with that instead.
