At age 84, I've spent 4 days for a total of about 6 hours trying to get Mint Mobile to honor their new TV ads that say, "$15/month...forever" I've had their service for over 2 years, and while their service has been good, I've filed two (2) complaints with the FCC over their deceptive advertising. They demand $30/month paid a year in advance ($360) for the same service I had at $15/month. Their solution is to reduce my data to 5GB from unlimited. Trying top use their chat's are inoperative. Calling their toll free number or 611 results in folks saying they can't help.
After the 1st FCC complaint I filed on the 15th (Cased #8585842) I received an email from a Mark Ian saying he's been authorized to give a credit of $180 to renew the annual unlimited plan:

Hello James,
I apologize for the delayed response. I am pleased to let you know that I have secured approval for a $180 credit on your account.
This credit effectively reduces the cost of your Unlimited Plan to just $15 per month ($180 plus taxes and fees) for the next 12 months.
Please keep in mind that after this one-year period, the plan will return to its standard rate.
Does this work for you? If so, please let me know and I will apply the credit to your account immediately.
Best Regards,
Mark I.

Repeated emails to Mark were unanswered and now my service is disconnected. If anyone else has had issues with their billing, let's get together and flood them with 1 star reviews. And, filing a FCC complain is easy from your device!
Perhaps they'll revise their new ads.
