I purchased a phone and 12-month phone plan from Mint Mobile. The phone came and my son charged it with no problem with the charger that came with the phone. He transferred his phone number from his old phone to the new one and put info from his old phone to his new one. After a day or more of using the phone, my son noticed that the charger cord began not charging and had to be placed in a certain position or it wouldn't charge the phone (loose connection). I called Mint within the 7 days they require and requested a new charger cord. They informed me that I would have to send the phone and charger back and they would send a new phone and charger. All I wanted was a charger and my son needed

his phone and did not want to send it back. He couldn't use his old phone because he had already transferred his phone number to the new phone. Even after speaking with a manager, they would not help me because of their policy. Now I have to spend money on a charger, which is ridiculous. They need to change their policy and just send the product that needs to be replaced.

Desired outcome: I want to send back the defective charger only and receive a new charger that works. I do not want to send the phone back because my son needs to use the phone.
