Gas dryer
I purchased this maytag dryer model #MGDC4655HW1 in May 30.21... In July 2021 machine stopped working, called Lowes where I purchased it and they contacted local appliance repair company. They came within 2 weeks., look at the dryer and said nothing was wrong with it and left. The following day wash my clothes and went ahead to dry them and the dryer was not working (heating). This is not acceptable.
The In-home Appliance Repair shop that your Company sent to check on my Maytag model # MGDC465HW1, SERIAL # MA10 05275 was brought on May 30, 2021 at Lowe's in EL Paso, Texas. The repair man arrived at my home and came into my house to check on the DRYER which was not drying the clothes. All he did was to turn on the dryer which it ran but did not heat up. and told me that it was working, nothing regarding the heat,. He bent down open remove a small inspection plate look into it and told me it was working (IT WAS NOT) So I call the company back (In-home Appliance Repair shop spoke to a lady and told her that the dry did not heat up, her response was we will call you back, this was 2 weeks ago.
So I call your Company again telling them about the dryer not working, So they said that they will send someone else, they did. I waited another week for the repair man from the shop call Ameri-Tech Appl Repair SVC INC. This repair man came in and ask me what was wrong with the dry, So I explain to him that dryer did not heat up. This repair man listen to me and he started to inspect the dryer which tore it down check heat sensor and other items,. I turn out that sensor in heating element maybe the problem but he did not have the part on hand he has to order it which may take about two week. That make two and half months of not having a workable Dryer!
He told if the part does not fix the dryer problem that your company will send another Repairman this does not make sense. my question to you is, Is this how your Company (MAYTAG) is run, putting the customer in bad situation, bad light and trusting the Company all they wanted is our money? I should be able to return this machine for a new one since they are unable to repair it and it has a 10 years warranty. Then I receive an email from Marc Peremans, SENIOR MANAGER, FIELD SERVICE asking me how do I like the maytag dryer, I wish I can express my feeling but I can not do it on this open complaint. I hope you hear from you and your Company!

Maytag Washer
Our washer stopped working on May 24th (only 8 months after purchasing), and scheduled a service appt on June 10th. The repair person said a part will need to be ordered and it will take 21 business days. After waiting a month and half after the service appt, I called and was told the part was not found and Maytag was supposed to call to let us know a new washer will need to be issued. A Maytag representative said they have contacted Lowe's and Lowe's should be calling to let us know when we can pick it up. The Lowe's representative said they are waiting on a reimbursement credit from Maytag. After calling Maytag, again, a representative said they have issued the notice to Lowes. We called Lowe's again, and they said they haven't received anything. I called Maytag, again and they said they are waiting on store information to release the reimbursement. Lowe's said they haven't received it. This has been back and forth for a month now, and still no resolution. The Product Exchange representatives are not helping to move this along or expedite this issue. It's been 3 months without a working washer, and having to use the laundromat. Also, the washer we bought was pricey. At this point, I am frustrated with the product and customer service especially.
At this point, I do not trust the product and customer warranty process and would like to have an extended warranty on both washer and dryer I have purchased.

MVW7232HWO Washing machine
I purchased this washing machine in july 2020... In june 2021 machine stopped washing, called lowes where I purchased it and they contacted local appliance repair company. They came within 2 weeks. Went threw diagnostic code, said the shift actuator needed to be replaced, they ordered it, 2 weeks later it was installed. Still machine was not working. Appliance person came back 2 days later said they needed to order a gear case which is on back order. 8/4/2021 called maytag to see when this part would be in they said probably another 21 days, and that isn't a guarantee. I asked if I could get a new machine since it was still under warranty they said not I have to wait for part to come in, now at this point I am very frustrated as it cost me $50 a week to do laundry. I could have purchased a new machine. This is not acceptable. I should be able to return this machine for a new one since they are unable to repair it, their excuse is that due to covid parts aren't available. Everything cant be blamed on covid. I do not blame the appliance people they are doing their part, its the maytag company. If your are going to sell appliances you should honor warranties, and keep your customers happy.

After having a repairman out a few times and replacing the control panel, he determined that the washer is designed to only fill with a few inches of water on any cycle, even though it has a huge tub. Results is clothes not clean, can't wash large bedding or curtains as advertised by sales person. This is unacceptable. I want a different washer. Purchased 9-23-20 from Roger's, Inc., 1035 S Burlington, Hastings NE 68901.

Washing Machine MVWC565FW
I bought this washer in Jan 2021. It quit agitating in May. The repair company wants to replace the motor W11497303, shift actuator W10913953, motor cap W11428524, and control board W11428524 . The last item is over $600. I only paid $674 for the washer. The repair company arranged for these parts to be sent to me, and when I received them I was to call them back and arrange for installation. So far I have only received the drive motor, even though the rest of the parts are in stock from multiple sources. My washer has been out of service for over 2 months now and I want to get it fixed. What do I have to do to make this happen? Thanks.

Model MDB4949SKZ, SERIAL FAO701595, purchased DW in 3/21.
It ran well for two months and started to display error and would not run. Had a repair man out(Best BUY) and states that it needs a new control board and soap dispenser. Its been over 4 months waiting for parts, a unhappy wife and a broken machine. The machine has been broken longer than it has worked!, I an very dissatisfied customer and have a very low opinion of maytag. I just purchased a new washer/dryer and did not loo at any Maytag products.
I want you to get this resolved ASAP. You have my money and I have your broken machine-not a good deal

Bravo xl washer dryer set
Purchased their top of the line set the end of 2018, the drier has had some type of issue with the power button now working all the time and now the washer will not get any power. The power button will not turn it on nor will the cycle know! It seems that these Models have some type of electrical issue and should be recalled. As consumers we do not pay more for an expectation of a better quality product to have it totally be non functioning before 3 years. Now that the washers power has fried I'm guessing I'm sure the drier will also soon as it's the same thing with the power board is what I'm assuming. They should recall. The model is no longer being sold so that tells me there was some kind of issue that they fixed with the upgraded model.
Desired outcome: Swap out for working set same size without these issues

Maytag will not provide a wiring diagram for my appliance MFI2067AES
This correspondence was meant to be to Maytag customer service but they only allow 500 characters to respond.
My MAYTAG refrigerator stopped working and would not cool. I contacted a local repair man to determine the problem. He came to the house asked if I had a wiring schematic for the MFI2067AES model. I was unable to find the schematic in my manual or online. I called Maytag customer service. I was finally punted to ‘Tod' (ID:4347), the resolution provider. He stated that he would/could not supply the wiring diagram and would only refer me to a certified Maytag provider. I stated that I had a repairman at my house who could repair refrigerators. He said only a certified Maytag repairman would be allowed to have the wiring diagram for the appliance and not the owner. I asked if I could be referred to someone up the line who would help me. He said No.
I realize that you (Maytag) have a policy and choose not to provide a wiring diagram to the customer. I too am able to choose.

Maytag bravo xl
I purchased a maytag bravo xl top load washer in February of 2020 I paid over 1000$ for this machine. It has never worked properly. I have had 3 technicians out all of whom stated there are problems with this washer and Maytag is aware of them. I have spent hours on hold with customer service and transferred from one person to the next. My recent 2 hour conversation with customer service assured me the parts would be sent at no charge through a certified technician. The certified technician from sears came to my home. He advised me that it was going to cost over $500 and the part was not free! Seriously! I am currently on hold again with customer service going on 50 minutes so far...

I have a Maytag washer and only had it for a few years. Now the clothes and sheets are getting under the agitator and ripping the clothes and sheets. I am very unsatisfied with the product. The model # MVWB765FW3 has failed to perform the way I thought it would. I cannot afford to let a washing machine that I paid a lot of money for tear up my clothing and sheets.

Moved into newly constructed home on 8/15/2018 and appliances were installed the week before.
Found water on the main level laundry room and leaking down into basement. Turned water off and called Warners Stellian for repair on 6/21/21. Tech ordered part and returned on 7/6/21 Dryer steam valve failed and leaked water on the floor, in the basement and under wood floor causing wood floor to warp. Warners Stellian repaired the dryer under warranty on 7/6/21. Warners Stellian repair tech took pictures of warped wood floor and was going to submit to Maytag. Filling a complaint to get wood floor repaired or replaced.

Purchased this machine in 3/2017 and had service out the first week, since then in the past 4 years there have been 4 other service calls which cost me around $600. It has recently started making a new noise when spinning so I'm guessing I will have to call them back out. Machine also does not put enough water in on the normal cycle to wet the clothes. I have always purchased Maytag washers and I don't believe I have ever had to call for service in all those years.
I believe this machine is a lemon and I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Would like to file a complaint regarding a product I bought from my local lowes. I bought the model above on 4-22-2018 (years old) and I started having problems with the spinning. I called my warranty thru maytag and they stated I would have to pay to have someone come look at my washer. I paid $95.00 to have a the person they sent me to tell me that I need a gearcase & washplate with a cost of $500.00. As you can see I am very upset due to the fact none of this is covered under warranty. At this time it is cheaper for me to buy a new washer than pay to have it fixed. I am ashamed of maytag for making suck a bad product. Your washer should have last a little more that 3 years! At this point I am contacting my local lowes and letting them know how this product has been for me. And I will not recommend this product/ brand to anyone. So not only am I out a washer (of three years) I am out the $95.00 service fee. Is there anything maytag can do to help me resolve this issue? Maytag used to be a highly recommend appliance back in the day!

I purchased a MHW3505FW0 model washer a little over 2 years ago. It already has a crack in the wash tub, right where it was put together at. I'm sure l registered the washer at the time l bought it. I no longer have the sales receipt since l had registered it. I have tried to find help through online places with no luck. It's obvious the tub needs replaced and it supposedly is a covered part through warranty.

Maytag washing machine
I bought a Maytag washing machine model #MVW6200KW on January 3, 2021 (picked up on January 9, 2021) from Canadian Appliance Source in Winnipeg (1585 Kenaston Blvd), Manitoba. The order # was C1286577.
The machine broke down in June and I brought it to Barkman Appliances (124 MacKenzie Ave) in Steinbach Manitoba. They told me I would have to wait 3 weeks for parts that could cost as much as $900 and that I should call Whirlpool for more information.
Whirlpool [protected]) told me that parts would be available within 21 days, after which I could then call them back for a 'different solution' if that did not occur.
Today, July 6, was 22 days and so I called Whirlpool. They now state that they cannot give me an ETA on parts and offered me a six month extension on the warranty.
I explained that this was not an acceptable solution as I live 110 kilometers from the nearest laundromat, and that I had paid a premium for a Maytag because of its self-professed claim of reliability. The supervisor then offered me a 9-month extension on the warranty. Again I emphasized that extending a warranty on a machine that Maytag advertises as never breaking down is not a solution - especially given that it was currently in a state of disrepair. He clearly was reading from script (kept repeating the same thing word for word again and again) and told me he was the 'highest form of escalation' for a customer complaint.

Maytag commercial top load washer and dryer
My dryer just gave F6E1 code and won't start. The washer won't start. I have them on WiFi but the app can't bring them up. They are not even one year old. They have electricity.

Error code F6 E2, unplugged for >5 minutes, now will not even come on. No warranty even though not even 2 years old. Last maytag lasted 22 yrs. Very disappointing. Will cost 100.00 just to have looked at. Maybe last Maytag purchased, also advertising will not be favorable. Spoke with representative and apologized for not being able to help. Glass lid hinges cracking
I have a Maytag washer, MVWB865GW0 that is just to years old. The glass top hinge started cracking. This was purchased at Lowes with the extended warranty. When a tech finally returned my call, which was from General Appliance they were rude, showed up 4 hours late and took 2 minutes to write up the problem. Than never heard back. Calls went unreturned. I spoke with the store manager who also tried to call, no response. Very poor service,
This cracking was done under stress as the hinge pushes on the plastic. I did notice the new model has a totally different hinge setup. This was poorly designed.
In either case I need to get this fixed, but the lack of support from bth Maytag and the warranty company makes me ready to replace with another company if this is the way you treat your customers

MHW3505FW Washer
My Washing Machine is less than 3 years old and has an extended warranty. The number to call leaves me on hold indefinitely with no sense of anything further happening. After waits of 30-45 minutes and calling back the exact same thread of inane hold music begins and plays again. No "Thank you for holding" no "We'll be with you shortly" nothing, human or automated. Meanwhile I have clothes in the washer, no way to open it, and no effective way to contact the Maytag warranty company to even set up an appointment. My local dealer will come, in 3 weeks, and charge me since he only warrants what he sells. My extended warranty sold by Maytag cost me several hundreds of dollars that I am out with little hope of resolution.
Desired outcome: Resolution, hopefully quickly, either by repairs or refund of 100% of cost of warranty.
I am generally one who avoids extended warranties as they usually only benefit the vendor, but knowing the complexity of the new machines I willingly bought one. Apparently I wasted my money since contacting the company is nearly impossible.

I am in process of filing complaint with your company. I cannot express to you how upset I am. I literally bought my washing machine from you not even 3 years ago and it is dead. I called to have a repair man come here and I told him to leave when he tried to charge me money to fix it! He said the electronic board is no longer working. I should not have to pay to fix this machine. I could understand if it was more than 3 years but it is within my legal right to have any type of electronic working at least for 3 years. I called Maytag and the girl hung up with me. She said that I have to pay to have this fixed. Ever since I purchased this machine, I have had the repairman out here to fix it 3 times!
