Business Response Our delivery manager Robbie S contacted the customer on 9/23/20 and the appliance was delivered out on the delivery trucks first stop of the day. We apologized for the lack of communication throughout the delivery process. We are currently working to heavily increase our warehouse and delivery team to be better equipped to pro-actively communicate with customers. We also have increased tracking capabilities in order to get more real-time updates. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) September 19, the product was not delivered. No one called. There was a four hour time frame given to us that they chose. The company chose the date and the time yet they still did not show up. At 10pm, 4 hours after the product was to be delivered a truck drives down the street in the middle of the night turned around and keeps going. again they did not call...I did call the delivery people to confirm and they stated yes we were on the schedule to be delivered, but they did not show up. They scheduled to come deliver on September 19, again they did not show up. Several attempts were made by my husband and I to the delivery service with many assurances that the product was going to be delivered. They had no problem withdrawing over $1000 from my account, but sure had problems delivering the product on time. They had more than two times to deliver the product. They delivered finally on the 3rd attempt, September 22, 2020. They did deliver the product and take the old one. The salesman stated that the company would compensate us for the inconvenience. They have not; however, we did receive the product on the 3rd attempt. After researching this company after purchasing this product, there have been a number of complaints about this company. There have been recent complaints within the past couple of months not only by myself but by others having the same problems. This is not a reputable reliable company. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company to anyone. The alleged lack of communication definitely is between the delivery service and the company. Delaying delivery more than two days despite problems is unacceptable without a phone call to the customer. Money was taken out of my account immediately so I would expect the product to be delivered when expected or could have purchased from another store if knew what know now...bad service, unacceptable. Business Response We have contacted the customer and issued a credit of $150.00 to the customers credit card to expedite compensation for the inconvenience. As a company there have been a few delivery challenges that we are working everyday to overcome. We would like to apologize again for the lack of communication throughout the delivery. Over the past couple of weeks we have increase our warehouse and delivery team, Implemented more training, and equipped the drivers with all the necessary tools to pro-actively communicate with customers going forward. We also have increased tracking capabilities so we can get more real-time delivery updates for our customers. Did receive the $150 credit...however the credit does not negate the responsibilities a service has for its paying customers. Unfortunately, looking at other complaints on this company we were not the ones who have suffered "bad" customer service and it has been going on for awhile. This company has been in business since 1960s. The decision to use this company was because it was local. There is no excuse for this type of service. No one should have to endure poor quality service like this again...definitely will not recommend this store to anyone.I hope this company does a better job with other customers in the future.
