We purchased Maytag dryer MED5630HC2 SERIAL # MA0704806 on 05/15/21 and purchased extended warranty. The dryer was delivered several days later. On Aug 23 2021 we called service to advise we needed service as it would turn on then immediately turn back off. Even my husband said at the time it was the motor. Repairman came out Aug 25 and in a short amount time said it was 2 control panels which he ordered that day. On Sept. 14th the repairman came back out and installed the boards but said it was compound problem and the motor had to be replaced. I called Maytag a couple of weeks ago after not hearing from repairman and was told the motor was in stock and serviceman had placed order on Sept. 17th. I called back today 09/30/21 and was told they can't locate a replacement motor but they sent it up the chain to locate one and it could be 2-4 weeks. I have been without a dryer for over 35 days now and looks like it might be another 4 weeks. We switched from a Samsung to a Maytag when it was time to replace our as we thought it was a better product. So very disappointed with product and service.

In October 2019 we bought a new Maytag dishwasher from Home depot. The purchase date was 10/18/19. Model # MDBH979SAM, SERIAL # F22419969
We had problems with the dishwasher not starting within the first 6 months we owned it. read tech manuals online and reset many times. We found after door removal that the control panel was not screwed in, the screw was missing-never placed. We used duct tape to keep the panel in place. Now, after resetting multiple times, we cannot get it to reset, there is no tech available in our area (?) and costs from a local electrician surpass buying a new one after the callout and travel plus hourly charges.
Very disappointed, always had Maytags before but after this, we will never have another Maytag appliance as there is no service available for us and this one was junk when we got it. What a waste of time and money. What is worse is that we have talked up Maytag for years with family and friends, now there is sadly nothing good to say.

Machine doesn't get all of the laundry wet. Some comes out with parts of it dry. Also, machine has "eaten" 2 sheets and we had to pry them out.

I have never bought a bigger piece of crap in my life. This thing wants to tell me how much water I can use with it's little sensors. It's like a little ccp man is standing over my shoulder saying nah nah you canuh use dat much wahter. I even filled it up with the hose so I could do a good presoak at least and HELL NO as soon as I closed the lid it drained it all out. I'll never buy another one and I'm putting the old Kenmore in the shop and will use that one. This maytag will be used for target practice.

From day 1 my dryer won't work on any setting but timed dry. Turns off after a minute saying it's done on any other setting. It sucks in bounce sheets into front vent. It snags all my towels terribly. It's snagged favourite blouses. I tried for over year to resolve and all they've been interested in was running me out if my 1 year warranty time so i'm out of luck. Everybody that uses my dryer screams what is wrong with this thing. I want to throw it through their headquarters window as it's been a close to $1000 loss. So upset.

We bought a Maytag washer at the beginning of 2021. It has never washed clothes well. We found out recently that the agitator was not working. We called the store. They admit that it looks like we bought a lemon and referred us to Maytag service. Maytag service arranged for a service call in one month. This is unacceptable. We wrote to Maytag asking that they refund or replace the washer. We received an automatic acknowledgement of receipt of email. We followed up two weeks later and received another automatic response.

I consider myself a very informed shopper and specifically chose Maytag brand of washing machine because I believed it would be the most reliable and best warranty. I now believe I chose wrong. I have already spent approximately $250 in repair cost and am now being told by a certified Maytag technician that it will cost another $600 to repair my washer. I never expected that after 5 years of use I would basically have to throw away my washer and buy a new one. So disappointing

One of the worst refrigerator s going the refrigerator freezes in parts of the refrigerator I purchased 4/9/21 already freezer light out and one horrible purchase. Do not buy you will be sorry

Brand new. Purchased from Best Buy. Trying to get set that is color matched. Set comes only in bright white. Original set matched exactly. However, washer was defective and replacement came as Grayish white instead so washer and dryer are now different colors. Best Buy ordered 2nd replacement. Also grayish white. I am now being told by Best Buy that manufacturer doesn't guarantee an exact color match and there is no way to match at warehouse prior to delivery because they come from different warehouses. However, I just discovered that Maytag produces appliances in 3 shades of white and believe this color error is a defect because they accidentally switched to a different shade. This may seem petty, but I bought a matching set and am extremely unhappy with mismatch. Either white or grayish white is ok, just want washer and dryer to match. Maytag and Whirlpool customer service both say they can't help - don't know what to do. What can I call or what can I do to resolve matter.

I purchased a Maytag dishwasher in April 2021. In early September, the machine did not finish a cycle. I tried calling the customer service line and could not get through after several hours for three days. I emailed them and eventually got an appointment for two weeks later. Meanwhile the dirty water is sitting in the machine. The repair company did not arrive. according to their rep "the system" put in the wrong address. NO one had called, emailed, or texted me to confirm the address. I was given another date, a week later.

I just called the repair company because I had heard nothing about the appointment. I was told by the rep that Whirlpool canceled my appointment. There and been no contact from any company to tell me this and the the rep had no idea as to why this had happened.

I like my dishwasher, but I am beyond frustrated with Maytag/Whirlpool. What good is a warranty if you cannot access it? The lack of courtesy is beyond frustrating. I am calling a private repair company and paying for the repair, despite the fact that it should be covered under the warranty. I am not likely to ever buy an appliance from either company again.

To whom it may concern:
I have never been so unhappy with a $6/700 purchase.
Shortly, after it was purchased it started shaking about and banging around on spin. I'd redistribute the weight and that never worked. I'd have to take clothes out to spin and drain, then do it again with the remaining clothes. I've but a rug under it and that didn't help. Basket doesn't go straight down when pushed down, but bounces all all around.
The balancing legs seem intact, but have dug into the yoga mat/rug.
I took off the top tonight and stabilizer rods seem intact, but the plastic outer drum is dinged from hitting the outside edge.
What can Maytag do to right this terrible wrong?

Maytag washer, Top Load with glass top. The hinge on the back left went through the glass top. I do believe this is a bad design since they are no longer made that way, they now have oven type hinges on them. The breaking of the glass top prevents me from using the washer at all.

The glass top is $299.00 not including extra shipping for an oversized item and not including installation.

I have been expecting a delivery since 8/25/2021 and I keep getting "potentially delayed" messages every day. The tracking number is 9622085030000611820900527779744663. According to FedEx tracking, my shipment has been sitting in Oak Park, Michigan all week. I do not understand what the hold-up is with my delivery and I would like to know what is going on. This problem started happening around a month ago. I put softener in the compartment before the wash. When wash is over, the compartment is completely full of water and the the softener did not reach the clothes. I have to use paper towels to blot out the water.
Also, the washer is leaving white streaks on dark clothes. I use liquid dark wash detergent and no softener in the wash. I wash with cold water on the cold water wash cycle.

I booked a service call in "person" at the store. The date arrived and they no showed. I called, an they indicated I did not book a service call. This was a blatant lie. This is not the first problem I have had with Freemans. They installed a new dishwasher and damaged my Kitchen counter top. I took several trips and two contractor to fix my counter top over weeks.

Purchased a top of the line Maytag Dishwasher from Lowes this year for $905.25. It quit over a week ago flashing E1F6 which denotes a bad motor. I called Maytag who scheduled a repair service for 8-19. As required I stayed home all day, no service man. I called the vendor they contracted with only to be told that serviceman took his wife to hospital at 12 am. I asked why no call, and was told they were too busy, and did not know when they could get to me. I called maytag again yesterday am, related the above info, asked them to get it fixed today or replace it.

I still have not heard back when a repair can be made. This may be the LAST appliance I buy from Maytag.

I purchased this washer and a maytag dryer in May of 2018 and every since I bought it it has had a problem with the off balance going off no matter how I load it. I reload it several times before it will spin the water out. and sometime it does not clean the clothes so I will have to wash them twice. I had service and the technician stated that this washer is defective and cannot be fixed. I have always had a May Tag washer my whole life and my mother had one too. That is why I purchased another Maytag washer because the last forever. This is supposed to be an energy efficient washer, its not when I have to start it over and over again just to wash one load I am wasting electricity and water. I would like a full refund on this washer.

We have had a leak ever since we bought a washer and dryer on Sept 4, 2020.
We have summoned plumbers, repairmen, carpenters, and Maytag repairmen in to solve the problem. We have cut holes in walls and the ceiling to make sure that pipes were not the problem. The last repairman switched the motor
of the dryer so that it does not shake as much. However, even that repair has
not solved the problem. We have written to Maytag on Aug 19, 2021, asking them to reimburse us for the machines or to replace them and remain after
installation to establish that the leaks have stopped.

I purchased a Maytag Refrig (serial #K84808522), model #MF12570FEZ06) on 6/22/2019. I had problems with the ice maker from the very beginning and now it does not work at all. A technician came 11/29/2019 with no resolution for the ice maker, and I called 05/14/2021 and spoke with a customer rep with, again no resolution. I also sent a certified letter to Maytag on 6/28/2021 in addition to two emails to Mark Bitzer, CEO, with no responses. I am seeking resolution for the repair at no expense to me since the refrigerator is only two years old and I have filed complaints shortly after purchase.

We have a top loader. Less than a year old. Bought at lowe's. It does not wash…clothes are dirty. Impossible to get in touch w/maytag. We have yet to speak to a person. Have yet to rec'v response to our email…. We tried to submit request for service, but it would not submit…. (yes, all "fields" filled out accordingly). Our washer doesn't wash! Ha! Can not wash normal soil…like dirt, from jeans, shirts, socks! Nothing…zip! Clothes don't move during wash cycle! Pink top was at 12:00 when put in washer, nearly 40 min later…it's still at 12 position! I have a video of different times during wash cycle, along w/before and after photos. I garden as a hobby…. Not professionally…and I sweat. It can't remove sweat! Can't even wash our deodorant from our shirts! It's stunning! Unbelievably stunning! I want a refund. Period. Oh yeah, clothes in videos and picture were washed once before! So vids & pic are of second time "washing"…. (vids & pic from july 17, 2021)
