I recieved a 30 day free trial to try the majic jack. I called the number provided [protected]. The information provided was very misleading and untrue. They (the computer) aksed for my personal information to get my free trial started and my credit card info for shipping, and I was to recieve the equipment at no charge until my 30day free trial was over! Emediately I was charged a fee for not 1 jack but 3! I did not order. When I called about the mistake that was made I was routed to speak with someone online. There are fake represenatives posing as employees of this so called company that told me that they couldn't help me and had no desire to correct the problem. The online communicators are very rude and acctually know that they are schaming the public with this so called business/product. There are too many people who have been through this same senario and I feel that a class action law suit is in order for this company...
Have you gone to the Magicjack website to look for someone to contact? Maybe you should take it back to where you purchased it and get a new one. Sounds like you received a defective one. My Magicjack works great.
just a note, maybe it would be possible to call back mulitple times if you block your caller id, easily done by dialing *67 before entering the number
