Macy's Security guard at the market street location

My son was trying on clothes at your Market Street location in Philadelphia @ 5:30 pm. He heard the security guard on his walkie outside the changing room door. One of the undercover guards walked into his changing room without knocking as my son was undressed. My son asked him to knock first. He overhears the guards talking about him stealing the clothes. The men uncomfortably followed him around the store. My son paid for the clothes, because that is what honest people do. We have been faithful Macy Card Holders for over 20 years. The behavior of your security is appalling and disgusting. It makes me rethink being a Macy's customer. I would retrain your staff. I want someone to call me [protected].

Desired outcome: He gets fired, Because im sure he has done it before

Macy's Noritake dinnerwear

On 8/26/24 i ordered a dinnerwear set (order no. ([protected]) at the cost of $717.24 as a shower gift. It was delivered on 9/1/24. Today i happen to notice that the same order would have come to $460 including tax, a savings of approximately $257. This is a substancial difference as you can see and when i called customer service they informed me of your 10 day policy. This seems extremely unfair. This was supposed to be a big sale when i purchased it and to see it so much less in less than 2 weeks makes me feel that i was overcharged when i bought it. You can rest assured because of this i will not be purchasing anything costly from Macys again for fear of seeing it much less in a short period of time. Macy's Full refund not received on order #[protected]

Placed on-line order #[protected] on 7/18. Pants $38.99, cardigan $43.99 and top $28.99. Total $116.70. Returned all three items on 7/8. Received credit of $40.64 for pants on 7/26. Called customer service on 8/2 and was told to wait 7-10 days for balance of refund. I called on 8/14 and was told a refund of $76.06 would be credited to credit card in 3-5 days. On 8/16 I received a credit of $45.21. I called again on 8/22 and was told balance of refund was in process. On 8/31 I called again and was told a supervisor was issuing credit for the sleeveless top and refund would be credited to my account in 3-5 days. It is now 9/8 and I still have not received my refund of $30.85 for the sleeveless top. Incredibly poor customer service.

Desired outcome: I would like to get my refund of $30.85

Macy's Furniture warranty sold by Macy's

I purchased my white linen couch at Macy's. They highly encouraged me to buy insurance at an additional cost that would cover almost everything according to the salesman, or my couch would be completely replaced.

I bought the insurance. When I had a stain on my couch, I made a claim and they sent me products to clean it myself. The products damaged my sofa even more and made watermarks. When I complained to WORRY NO MORE about the marks their products made to my furniture, they denied the claim and said it wasn't covered because it was stained over time.

Worry No More and Macy's are running a scam!

February 23, 2019 for the amount of $1,454.49 with 10 years of WARRANTY. However, you are

aware that I spoke to many of your employees regarding that matter and someone by the name of Beverly Jordan promised to reimburse me only $594.00 from $1,454.49 purchased, I refused to accept it. Your employees don't have any respect for your clients and your misleading ways of

making false advertisements may result in some consequences.

I need to know what’s the purpose of your 10 years bedding warranty? Is it for enhancing more purchases? In November 2020, We went to Macy’s Furniture Bedding Department located in Garden City New York, they had told me to call the 800 number and immediately after contacting them I got

an appointment for someone to come to my home to inspect the mattress within 30 days. On the day of his visit he wasn’t well equipped to do the job, that was the plan: hire a non professional so that MACY’S can take advantage of the situation, and gave you stories,

Mattress bed that I purchased from Macy’s on February 23, 2019 for the amount of $1,454.49 with 10 years of WARRANTY.Right after, my first phone call and email complaints that the employee should have take my complaints into consideration, since I could not locate my receipt they had told me that I purchased the mattress for only $600.00 while I paid $1,454.94 + 10 years of contract WARRANTY.

What's killing me? They sent a stupid guy to inspect the mattress who didn't even have on hand a tape measurement, but I think that I am in America. He carried a piece of orange cord to do the inspection. What kind of measurement can someone get with a piece of cord? I was watching all the

time, and now Macy's department goes according to this guy's report and told me that they cannot take the defective mattress back.

These facts constitute a breach of discipline in your establishment. This behavior is unacceptable and hinders the proper functioning of the company. Because of your mistake I had to purchase a THERAPEDIC 3 Inch Quilted Deluxe Memory Foam Topper from Bed Bath & Beyond for the amount

of $ 399.99 in order to sleep at night. Macy's damages on the mattress are:

-1. Uneven mattress

-2. When 2 people sleep on the bed one area has a 10" cave in while another area is normal on the

same mattress side

-3. Uncomfortable to sleep

-4. When you sleep on that mattress you wake up with neck, body and back pain

• The damages that my sister and husband are suffering from MACY’S defective product are:

- Lower back pain

- Body ache

- Neck pain

This bed aggravating my sister tendinitis and bursitis

My sister and husband are afraid to sleep on the mattress but they need to keep it as proof of the defective product, even the THERAPEDIC 3 Inch Quilted Deluxe Memory Foam Topper is no longer helping.

I am therefore sending you this first warning (if necessary, I will contact an attorney because you know how bad Beautyrest products are. Since you didn’t respect your internal regulations / agreement, this is why I sincerely want you to do what is necessary for a quick reimbursement

without an attorney.

Macy's Never sent a refund or store credit

I was given 2pairs of levis pants as a gift. The person paid cash. This was in may2023. One pair fit and the other did not. I was sick so I called customer support and was told they were sending a label, put jeans in a box with receipt and send the pants back right away. I took a picture of the reciept on my phone, sent package back and got a notice of delivery from ups the next day. It has been over a month and never heard from macys, no refund notice. I called today and I was told that I am supposed to come to customer service at the store to speak with someone to help me because the pants were bought in the store and not on line. Why? This blows my mind, because if I was supposed to come into the store why didn't someone notify me. I grew up thinking macys was the greatest, but no they are very slack when it comes to customer care. After this today my head is hurting, 30 mins. With recordings trying to call the store. Then hang up and call customer support to be told this...

Macy's Non delivery of ordered item

I made a Macy's on line order on July 8,2023 which included 2 pairs of men's shorts and a self spraying mop. The shorts were shipped out and were received by me within a week. The mop was delayed but Macy's emailed me on July 10 to say it was shipped. The tracking number showed that the carrier (UPS) had created the tracking number but had not received the item from Macy's. On July 10 Macy's charged my card for the item but on July 17 it still had not been shipped. Their useless overseas "customer support" did NOTHING to help me. On July 24 I again checked the tracking number and UPS again was still waiting for the item. At the time of this purchase Macy's also offered me 25% off my next purchase for signing up with their rewards program which I completed. Macy's was supposed to email me a 25% discount code which they never did. Again their useless overseas helpless desk did nothing to help me with this issue. I have given Macy's sizable business but will never shop there again.

Macy's Undelivered parcel

Good day, I've placed an order online, been tracking it as well until yesterday the 21st of July when I checked to my surprise it says my parcel has been delivered at 10:05 yet I was home all day but I didn't receive ant parcel.

This order was placed on the 30th of June 2023. I'm so stressed as only now it downs on me and I started researching about this Bluebuc or Bluebuck carrier company it seems like it does not exist. Anyone else facing the same problem? The order was from Macy's

Macy's Rude salesperson

Yesterday, at your, Oglethorpe mall, store in savannah, ga. I went to pick up my order. I asked the young lady for a receipt and she said look on my phone you do not give paper receipts. I always have gotten a paper one. She rolled her eyes at me and made a face at me and walked away while I was still speaking to her. I asked for the store manager and she said there was not one so I asked to see any type of manager. A girl named, taylor, came and was no help. The sales girl had no name tag on her, but I found out her name was gabby. I have been a customer for over 20 years with a platinum card. I feel I will be going somewhere else for my shopping! when I was leaving she and the manager were laughing about me as I stood in the corner and watched and listened I am very upset that macys employ these type of salespeople. They have lost my business. I did call and file a complaint and the lady said to email also! thanks, bernadette mcmanis a very loyal customer!

Macy's Worry no more

This complaint isn't about Macys per se, but the inane and scammy furniture insurance (worry no more) I was talked into getting when purchasing my couch. In fairness the associate who assisted me probably didn't know how scandalous their insurance is. I was assured that it covered pet, in addition to other types of damage. While I was away my foster dog got out and tried to eat my couch. I contacted Macys and was again assured that this would be covered by their protection policy. I put in my claim and Macys determined that the damage was due to “normal wear and tear” and happened over time. First, I have had the couch for two years so if it is normal wear and tear that doesn't say much about their furniture quality. Second, I do not chew on the covers or eat the stuffing. I would love to know how the claims reps came to this scholarly determination. Maybe many of their furniture customers have couch eating fetishes? When I checked their reviews and reports it seems like this is their standard response to claims. It is disturbing that Macys would be so corrupt by selling what is essentially a false insurance policy. It is my impression that Macys defrauds their customers by selling them this insurance policy with assurances that Macys stands behind their furniture and will repair or replace covered damage. Their policy explicitly covers pet damage. However, like everyone else I got their standard response that the damage was not covered because it happened over time and was not promptly reported. I have a text from my sitter evidencing that the damage was in fact from a single occurrence. Macys does not cover any damage and their policy is a scam to have their customers pay an additional fee for a service that does not exist!

Macy's Online macy's credit card application

I have tried repeatedly to contact Macy' by phone because I am having trouble with the online Macy's credit card application. On the phone, the automated assistant wants my account number (I do not know it) or my SS Number which the phone assistant has been unable to find.

When I try to apply for the store credit card online, I have gone through the application process probably three or four times, but when I get to the "Submit Application" Button and have clicked on it nothing happens.

Desired outcome: Please help. Can you send me a paper credit card application if I give you my home address?

Macy's Macy's Furniture Delivery Disaster: Stained Pillows and Endless Delays

So, I made the mistake of ordering furniture from Macy's again, even though I had a bad experience 19 years ago. And let me tell you, it was like déjà vu all over again. They told us the delivery would be at one time, but then changed it twice, so we ended up wasting an entire day waiting for them. When they finally arrived, we were excited to see our new living room furniture, but then we noticed major staining all over the sofa pillows. It was so bad that you could see it with the naked eye!

The delivery guys told us not to worry about it and that they would just send us new pillows, but I wasn't having it. I didn't want to accept delivery of something that was damaged and then have to wait for new pillows to arrive. That's how they get you! And it's exactly what happened to me 19 years ago.

To make matters worse, they told us that they couldn't deliver for another five days. I was so angry because we had already wasted an entire day waiting for them, and now we had to wait even longer because of their mistake. I told them that we needed to be at the top of the priority list because of the damage and the fact that we had already lost a day's salary waiting for them. But they wouldn't budge. They said that this was the best time and day that they could give us, and that we would just have to wait.

I was so disgusted with Macy's that I canceled my order. I'm done with them. I've had better experiences with Raymour and Flanigan. They always come earlier than they say they will, and the furniture is never damaged. Don't waste your time with Macy's. They haven't improved in 19 years, and they never will. No wonder their stores are closing.

I wish I could give them negative stars, but unfortunately, that's not an option. So, if you're thinking about ordering furniture from Macy's, don't do it. You'll just end up wasting your time and money.

Macy's Macy's Online Order Disaster: Oversold Product, No Refund, Terrible Customer Service

I ordered three kitchenware items from Macy's website in mid-November, including a pot and pan set that cost over $200. I received two of the items within a week, which was great because Macy's used to be reliable with their deliveries. However, the third item was never filled even though a shipping label was printed. I waited for three weeks before I finally called customer service. At first, they told me that the item would arrive within a few more days. But after another week, I called again and was told to contact UPS with the tracking number to find out where the item was. When I called UPS, they told me that the label was printed but no item was delivered with that label. I was upset that I was lied to and told customer service what UPS had said. I already knew that Macy's oversold the product because they listed 500 available and 674 sold. Why would any company do that?

This time, customer service tried to reorder for me but found that there were none left. Duh? Anyway, she said she would issue a credit immediately. It's now two weeks later, and no credit has been issued. When I called customer service, they said they read everything in the order and would call me back in four days to update me. The hold up is because the label was printed, so it looks like the merchandise would be delivered on their side. They took the money out of my account immediately and won't credit me for the merchandise they don't have for now a month? I'm going to the bank today to claim a false deduction. Macy's customer service is overseas, and it's hard to reach them and get anything resolved. I will never order online from them again. What a shame! They used to be quality you could count on, but now they are trash. They rip off customers by selling items they don't have. Just wow. There is no minus, so the rating is too good for the service.

Macy's Terrible Experience with Macy's Fraud Verification Team - Never Again!

So, my boss' wife had a really bad experience with Macy's and I gotta say, it was pretty ridiculous. She spent a whole 45 minutes on the phone with the Fraud verification team for no reason at all. I mean, come on, who has time for that? And now, we're never gonna give Macy's our business again.

The call started off with the team asking for her husband, who's a CEO and doesn't have time for this kind of stuff. But she explained that she's on the card too and they still insisted on talking to him. Finally, they agreed to let her speak to them, but only if she cancelled the order and placed a new one with her name on it. So, she agreed and waited for 20 minutes for the prices to be adjusted. But when she was transferred back to the original team, she found out that the order was never cancelled and replaced. Can you believe it? She wasted all that time for nothing.

Finally, she had to disturb her husband and get him on the phone just to have them confirm that there was no fraud. And after all that, the call was dropped. I mean, seriously? No one even tried to make it right.

So, let this be a warning to all of you out there. Don't order anything online from Macy's. It's just not worth the hassle.

Macy's Macy's Customer Service is a Joke: $2500 Stolen and No Accountability

I gotta say, Macy's is a real disappointment. They straight up took $2500 from me and didn't even have the decency to be grateful for it. I bought this necklace for $1700 and it never even showed up. When I called to ask what was going on, they just gave me a refund and told me to call them next time I buy something that expensive so they can make sure it doesn't happen again. So, I did what they said and bought a bracelet for $2000. But when I asked about it, they said it was delivered and left on my front porch. I told them to make sure someone signed for it, but they didn't listen. I called them three times a week for three months and every time they said they reviewed it and it wasn't their fault. When I asked to speak to a manager, they just hung up on me. Some of them even told me to contact UPS or that they don't handle deliveries. And to top it all off, they charged me an extra $597.52 for interest even though I never agreed to pay within a certain time frame. So now I'm out $2597.52 for something I don't even have and I have no idea what's going on. I closed my card and I'm never shopping there again. Macy's lost a customer who spent hundreds of dollars. They say they treat their customers with respect, but that's a big joke. They don't stand by their word and they don't care about their customers. One of the managers, Allen, promised to call me back but he never did. I paid off the money and closed my account today. The customer service assistant was okay, but why would they care when they're stealing from their customers? You should really read their customer policy before you shop there.

Macy's Disappointing Experience with Macy's Credit Card Services: Unhelpful Representatives and Strange Interactions

Macy's is a store that I have always enjoyed shopping at. However, I recently had a very strange experience with their credit card services. I applied for a card and made a few purchases at the service desk on the same day. However, I never received any correspondence or card. When I called to figure out what was happening, I was put on hold for over four hours. When I finally spoke to a customer service representative, they were very disagreeable and seemed to be dissatisfied with their life. It was like they were chained to their desk and were looking for any opportunity to make people miserable.

I asked the representative to cancel my card, and they were very happy to do so. However, when I asked for a letter in writing stating that the card had been cancelled, they told me that Macy's doesn't do that. They only email things like that. I didn't receive an email, so I called back. The representative told me that they did email a letter like that, but it didn't go through. So, now they are mailing out a letter that says I closed my account.

When I pointed out that they have all of my personal identifying information and have given me nothing, I suspected that there were some sort of agile and dealings going on. I was really hurt and disappointed in the way I was treated. The interaction was the strangest and longest I've ever had trying to receive the physical card that I was accepted to receive, trying to pay off the bill, not knowing my credit card number because I was never given one, and dealing with people who honestly are asking for drama for no good reason other than again I think they're being abused.

Overall, I am very disappointed with Macy's credit card services. The customer service representatives were very unhelpful and seemed to be looking for any opportunity to make people miserable. I hope that Macy's can improve their credit card services in the future so that other customers don't have to go through what I did.
