On two separate occasions I have ordered men's cologne which was on sale on the Macy's website. Granted both we on sale but each lasted about a month before all of the smell/fragrance had severely faded or was gone all together leaving me with more that 3/4th of a bottle of all alcohol left that was useless.
These we apparently from an older shipment and had been sitting in a store or warehouse for quite a while. Or what was left over from a product they didn't intend to carry going forward. Regardless they shouldn't be selling these items either for $10 or less or provide a large, visible display stating these items had been stored for an extended period of time.
Desired outcome: Offload your older or discontinued perfume/cologne to someone like Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Ross and let them sell it off at a very discounted price where its buyers beware.

***6/26/2026 Update***. It has been over a week and I have not received a response or acknowledgement from Macys.
I am left to assume that silence and avoidance is their way of agreeing with my comments above.
