Hot water tank
Unbelievably bad customer service. I had an electric hot water heater installed on Tuesday. I called Lowe's on Wednesday because the water isn't getting very hot. I purchased 3 ceiling fans from this store within the past 2 months. These were purchased on my debit card. I could not use 2 of them and brought them back for return without receipt. Customer service couldn't find them on my card and asked for my drivers license. Then they said we can't refund you for these fans. I asked while not? They said because our system won't let us. I asked for the store manager Matt Lang. After waiting 20 mins he came up to me and went through the process and said the same thing? I've been shopping at this store for 9 years and spent a ton of money and this guy says I've had too many returns and won't refund me for the fans. People in line are hearing this and it's embarrassing. The store manager was rude and told me sorry can't do anything. So now I'm stuck with 2 fans I don't want and a bad taste in my mouth for Lowe's the way they treat customers.

had a phone sale order, I loaded all my things and started and an assoc took the pallet and headed to comm sales I loaded another cart with 45 bag and noticed that the assoc had left them in the middle of the store and people were taking them I stopped them and one started threatening me when the mgr finally showed up. He sided with the other guy

Samsung Ice Makers
I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator with two ice makers in 2017. I have had five service calls, to date. Lowe's extended warranty expressly states that after three covered service calls, they will replace or pay for a new refrigerator. However, they are not using the extended warranty that I purchased to service the refrigerator. I have found out that Lowe's is actually sending all service requests directly to Samsung to repair. I have proof that they are doing it as I called Samsung and asked for every date and case number they had on file for me. Except for the initial case, I have called Lowe's for the last four repairs. However, the proof is that they are sending it to Samsung for repair and not using the extended warranty I purchased to repair the refrigerator. The dates are as follows:

The last repair was done through Michaelson's Appliance Repair on 12/27/21. They specifically told me that the part to repair my lower ice maker is no longer available. When I contacted Lowe's about it and said that it is not repairable due to them not being able to get the part, they told me they would not adhere to their T&Cs and instead, are sending another repair company out, through Samsung as I have confirmed with Samsung that Lowe's put the request through to them for the service. I have a case number and a date of request from Samsung which proves that Lowe's is not using my calls for the extended warranty I purchased and that is why they are not adhering to their T&Cs.
Also, Lowe's has recently upgraded their system. So, they told me that they cannot pull up the service calls prior to the 11/28/2021 service call. Lowe's has actually created a further issue because they cannot track the calls back past when they implemented their new system per the manager and the service agents I spoke with.
Desired outcome: I want a refund of my refrigerator and my warranty. I have met the T&Cs for Lowe's but they are pushing my service calls out to the manufacturer so they do not have to adhere to their T&Cs.
Dented refrigerator delivered twice
I regret selecting Lowe's for my purchase. I have often used Lowe's in the past and never had a problem. I tend to be forgiving if someone makes an error because I understand an individual can make a mistake. What I have experienced is a pattern of mistakes that should never occur. No less than 6 people have erred in my purchase ordeal
At purchase from Uniontown, PA store on December 13, I did not have the 5% taken off for using my store card. I currently have a dispute open. [Error 1]
I had a 4 hour delivery window. they came 2.5 hours late without a prior call to inform me. This occurred more than the first time; actually all 3 times so far.
The fridge came dented in 3 places. We refused delivery. Then we were told that a Lowe's rep would contact us to schedule a new delivery, and if they did not then contact the store.
Nobody called us. [Another error.]
I called the store, they said call the delivery service for a new delivery. [Another Error].
The delivery service said they had no more refrigerators. [incorrect] I called the delivery service back to see if the dented fridge was available. The delivery service transferred me to a different store (Pittsburgh Distribution Center) where the manager said that a new fridge could be delivered to me.
Lowe's delivered a second time. It was the same dented fridge! I could tell because the same 3 dents and that how it did not even come in a box. Someone in loading should have realized that the fridge had not box. [error? … maybe if you are picky]
I was told by the delivery gentlemen that Lowe's would call again to schedule a new delivery. They did not call (not surprised).
I had to call the Pittsburgh store again. I was told that my order was set as a reschedule and not new delivery, which is why I received the same dented fridge. [Another error]
I asked for a new delivery date of Thursday morning since I would be away after Christmas. I received a phone call Sunday evening saying my delivery was coming Monday. I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes just to schedule my delivery for the time I originally requested. [Yet another error]
Still waiting on fridge. Not sure if 3rd time is the charm; but I may cancel this order if its not.
As you can see, this has been a pattern of errors. Yet nobody from Lowe's has actually reached out, despite several promises.

Dryer delivery
We bought a dryer at the Belleville Lowe's on 12/27/2021; new in box. Delivered 12/29/2021 - received a scratched and dinged dryer.
If I wanted a scratched and dinged dryer I would have went to the local scratch and dinged store.
Looks like someone needs to learn how to use a box cutter correctly.

Desired outcome: I would like this grill for the 39.57 that it was listed, also the lowes customer service agent said i could get it, then never assisted me so that I could.

Rebate Scam
I bought 5000$ of samsung appliances and was told that I would get a rebate of 10%. This was on their black friday sale in oct.2021. I've called them 3 times because I was rejected? Finally sent them a copy of the original receipt. Still nothing. The same thing happened last spring on their paint sale. 40.00$ rebate per 5 gallons. purchased 3 - 5's. rejected. Don't fall for their rebate scam. go to Home Depot and you might get a rebate. I just know you won't get one from LOWES.
Product not delivered as expected
I went to Lowes in Spring Hill, TN on 12.22.21 and purchased a Whirlpool Range to be delivered on 12.26.21. I received a call from the delivery person stating that the store did not have my range or else he was unable to find it. I called the store and spoke with a girl in the appliance department who said the delivery person probably couldn't locate the range, but it was in stock and she would call me back. I waited 2 hours and went to the store to find out that nothing had been investigated until I arrived wanting answers. After searching the stock in back, there was no range. She suggested I look for a replacement range that I may like and proceeded to wait on 2 more customers while I stood there waiting. When she asked if I found one, I asked how could I without knowing what was in stock and what wasn't? She waited on another customer and finally it was my turn AGAIN. She went back to the stock room to see which ranges were actually in stock because apparently their scanning devices do not match your par levels. I called the Columbia, TN store to see if they had one and he replied it (device) says we do, but let me lay eyes on it. They had one. I requested a cash or lowe's card refund with the $1200 on it because I was told that it would take 15 days to reach my bank! The girl at the service desk pushed the wrong button on the register and it went back on my bank card! The short story is the appliance girl blamed the girl that originally sold me the range which helps NOTHING. The teens working at the service desk need more training. I have $2400 invested in a range that cost $1200 until I receive my refund. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and my last experience with Lowe's for appliances if this is as good as they can do.
Desired outcome: My desired outcome? Customer SERVICE should be number one!
Return metal clad cable wire
Bought a 250 roll of metal clad cable wire, lost the receipt tried to return for a store credit. But was told I could not return because this was a high theft item... I told the clerk guess I could stick a 50 lb. Coil of metal clad cable wire in my pocket and walk out of the store! Called the store manager and after a 45 min. Wait, was told she could do nothing.. Called the lowes customer care line [protected] it should be called the we don't care line! Was told it is up to the store manager in every store to decide if they will give you a refund! And was told don't bother to call a district manager, they don't have any power over the store manager? I'll never buy from lowes again, guess they don't remember all of the other home improvement stores that have gone the way if the dodo!
LOWE's is a stupid group of stupid managers! The 250 ft. of wire you bought from Lowes is worth 40% more then you paid for it at Lowe's! The $470. of wire I bought at Lowe's and could not return I sold on Craigslist for $820. two months later! Lowe's has screwed me over 3 times now, so I am moving my $3,600. yearly electrical purchases to Home Depot and I always had receipts too! I will tell all of my electrical friends the same story.
Sent to wrong dishwasher repair organization to get warranty work done
On or about December 15, I went to your Lowe's store on the North Loop in Houston Texas, and asked for the phone number of someone who could repair an LG dishwasher when the parts on it were still in warranty. I went to your store in person because I could not get an answer to my question over the telephone after several attempts. I was told that I should call D3S Service LLC whose phone number is [protected]. Someone from D3S came to my house and took a picture of the identification tag on the dishwasher and immediately left my house. This trip was completely unnecessary because I had already made a picture of the identification tag and could have sent them the picture by email or by text if they had asked. I told D3S that the faulty part was covered under warranty during the first call. Then on December 19, D3S called me and asked for a service charge of $129.85. I gave them a credit card number and they gave me an estimate of over $400 . I repeated the parts were covered by the warranty and they said something to the effect that the warranty did not cover the parts and I gave them the page number in the owner's manual that said I should not have to pay for the parts. Only after this last conversation with D3S, did I find out from another repair service that LG uses only their own technicians to do warranty work. I paid LG 200 for a second service call.
Within two days an LG technician came to my house and fixed the problem in about five minutes after I spent the better part of a day finding a phone number for LG. Your store gave me a phone number of a technician not authorized to do the warranty repair work, probably so the store could collect a part of the fee from D3S knowing that LG does their own repair work and effectively refused to give me LG's phone number which the store almost certainly had . Thus your store acted in bad faith and I will never buy another appliance from Lowe's again.

Terrible business practices and doesn't honor rebates.
Ordered 4 LG appliances, all showed in stock with an available delivery of 2 weeks, 3 days before they were scheduled to be delivered I was called and told that the stove was a "non-stocking" item, which is not possible as it was in-stock when I ordered it. So I will not be receiving that until over 60 days after the fact. Then I filed the rebate form through their website after having to call into the rebate center on two separate occasions to get the correct one as the first one provided was not the correct one. Now my rebate claim has been denied and when I call back in they cannot even see the order details. On top of all of this they have authorized my credit card every single day for the entire week it was supposed to be delivered for the full amount of everything including the range which I won't receive for another 60 days. They have at this point authorized my card for over $20, 000 for an order that was only $3, 700. I have called into their rebate, customer support and delivery centers a total of 9 times now and they seem either unwilling or unable to help me in any way.
Doors and customer service
I will never shop at Lowes brickyard in Chicago again, I had a terrible experience with getting my doors put in and the lack of communication was terrible, I ordered doors in june didn't get install for almost 4 months later, now corporate was giving me a gift card and I've been on hold for over 45min and no one has came back to the phone, It just doesn't make sense

My wife called Lowes to try and get our 15-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher serviced and waited 45 minutes in the call queue. Installers of quartz countertop
They came out to measure for installation. When they returned with countertop they measured the area around the sink to large. My cast iron sink fell threw the hole they cut for the sink damaging all the piping under the sink. Had to hire plumber to replace pipes. Supposedly I'm suppose to get reimbursed and haven't heard or received reimbursement yet. Poor installation, poor service, poor company. Oct 2021- Dec 14, 2021.
