I purchased a front load washer and stand for 1100$. The appliance and set up was scheduled for 10-5-21. When the gentleman arrived, he informed me that it was for delivery only not set up because I didn't purchase a hose from Lowe's. I was under the impression that it would be delivered and set up. The appliance was slid into laundry room with stand placed on top and left. I slid the washer back and put hoses from old washer on it so that I could use washer. In the process I aggravated my knees. I need two knees replaced and am unable to walk very well. I paid for it for several days.
A phone call was made to Lowe's to have the problem resolved. The washer was to be placed on the stand and a new hose on the washer. I still at this date 12-11-21 have not received a call nor has anyone showed up to fix.
As soon as my friend is able to bring his trailer, I will be returning the stand to the store. It is on top of the washer and an annoyance. I would rather have the stand under washer but at this point it is just in the way. My plan was to purchase the matching dryer when my funds allowed.
I will not be purchasing any products from Lowe's in the future. All of my appliance and new floors have been bought from Lowe's prior years.
I also wanted to mention that the gentleman that came to bring appliance had a shirt on that said [censored] on the front of it. Which made me nervous. My 8 year old grandson also questioned the name on the shirt. I just feel, call me old fashioned that a delivery person that will be entering someone's home should be dressed professional.
