Lowe's Cabinet installation

Do NOT use Lowe’s Installation services. I ordered custom cabinets and counters for both my kitchen and bathrooms. The original measure was off resulting in ill-fitting cabinets, some of which I had to reorder (after waiting more than six months for the first order). In the meantime, the original installer completely disappeared and no other Lowe’s installers would take the partially finished job, leaving me to find my own contractor (they are in short supply where I live so this has yet to be resolved). I have been in dispute for nearly a year and living with bathroom vanity drawers that don’t open all the way and a microwave that doesn’t open all the way either because the surrounding cabinets are too big. The installer also dented my refrigerator and scratched up my new floors despite my repeated requests that they put down protectors. The store said they would replace the refrigerator, so I picked out one comparable to the one they damaged, but then – more than six months later! – Lowe’s installation support denied the request. Customer service is horrible and non-responsive – not once calling back when they said they would. After nearly a year of calling and threatening legal action, they finally refunded the original install fee, but that does not make up for the dented refrigerator or ill-fitting vanity. This entire process has caused me stress, frustration, and valuable lost time. But Lowe’s doesn’t care. A project that should have taken two weeks at most has lingered for nearly a year. I will NEVER use Lowe’s again and will tell anyone who asks to boycott them as well.

Lowe's Failed bathroom vanity install

Our nightmare installation fail started on 4-06-23 and has yet to be resolved, chronology below.

4-06-23 – Site visit/plan

4-29-23 – In store purchase (clerk couldn’t find plan online)

5-18-23 – 2 installers from Premier arrived; were unable to complete plumbing work as they had never done that type of work before and also didn’t have the plan

• Installers told us they were given one week training in cabinet installation; didn’t know what to do; tried to call supervisor without luck

• 5/19 – told us their supervisor wouldn’t take their calls or call back yet; we also tried without luck

• 5/23 – installers came back with the solution of flexible P-Trap because it required no actual plumbing work under the sink – we rejected after research and learning from Lowes Tustin install supervisor flex P-Traps are not to Orange County code

• From that point forward, we have been disappointed from a steady stream of promises for a visit from Handy, Angi, etc. to correct plumbing with not a single promise kept; my wife has logged the date for each contact which you will also find online; what really made us laugh was the sales call we got from a Lowes employee who ran across our original online request and asked if were ready to buy a vanity 😉

Those are the facts from a legal perspective which I can verify in discovery in your online project system and through the people involved for whom we have kept contact information including the original installers.

Desired outcome: We want an immediate refund of the installation labor and intend to have our own plumbers rip out the Lowes work and replace with a professional job.

Lowe's A disastrous experience with lowes kitchen installations

I wanted to reach out and share my recent experience with the kitchen installation crew Lowes in Naperville, IL connected me with. Unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory, and I think it's important to bring these issues to up as these contractors did not deserve my hard earned dollars.

The contractor, Finishing Touch Installations, operated with a one-person crew, juggling multiple jobs simultaneously. As a result, my project seemed to take a backseat, with a lack of commitment and attention to detail. Their work pace was slow and unreliable, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience.

Communication was a major letdown throughout the process. Updates and schedule information were scarce, leaving me in the dark about the progress and timeline. Moreover, punctuality was not their strong suit, often starting late in the day 11am and staying well beyond reasonable working hours.

Unfortunately, the issues didn't end there. Despite paying for cleanup services, I was left with a significant mess to handle on my own. Over 200 boxes cluttered my garage, and remnants of the installation process, including coffee cups and discarded lunch bags, were left behind. Plastic sheets remained taped to the walls, and floors were covered in paper tape. The lack of a final walkthrough further added to the overall disappointment.

Desired outcome: Requesting contractor accountability to ensure customers receive the service they deserve. Take feedback seriously, address the issue, and hold the contractor accountable for their actions.

Lowe's Delivery of washer machine

I was scheduled to receive a washer machine today in Winterville, North Carolina. I requested at the time of purchase to have it delivered after 2pm. I called [protected] around 9:30 today [protected]). I verified that the delivery would arrive around 2pm, I was told yes, however around 10:30 today the truck showed up anyway, I asked the driver through my door bell camera to wait 20 minutes he said no. My delivery was to Winterville, NC, my cell number for the delivery is [protected]. I am very disappointed with the lack of integrity from the delivery system at Lowes.

Unfortunately there is no way to guarantee a specific timeframe for any delivery. Because there are other commitments for other customers, it's impossible to wait or delay any one particular delivery.

Lowe's Metal gazebo ordered.

I ordered a 13x11 gazebo model # 168523 item # 2482407 for my daughter it was delivered on July 3rd. My daughter and her husband put it together and took them 9 hours. when I got there the next day, I'm looking at it and it was the wrong one sent from you, or from the vendor.

The box had item number a102006900 on it a 10 x 12. I went to the store in Concord, and they told me I had to take it down for a refund for the difference in cost. well, that would mean take it down 8 hours later and bring it to the store 479 lbs. that is why I had it delivered. Then I would have to get the one I ordered and set that one up again another 9 hours later! This doesn't have the curtains or is it the right size because we also went to the store a week ago and purchased a patio table set Allen + Roth Townsend 7-Piece Patio Dining Set

Online Set #GR_7627 which is too big now when you extend the leaf's on it. Thats why I wanted the larger size gazebo.

So none one wants to help, and they all are telling me to disassemble all of it to get an exchange or refund. REALLY! So, I'm out all this money for the wrong product. I have contacted the vendor thru email and there not helping me either, the Manager at the concord store could not even find the model they sent me. She was thinking they sent me a discontinued model.

Desired outcome: Order# for the gazebo is [protected] that was put on my Lowes charge card and the table and accessories are also.I would like to be compensated for this confusion

We're so sorry for your frustration. Normally, once assembly takes place, the product is not returnable. Thankfully, exceptions can be made as long as the product is properly disassembled and complete.

If you would like additional help, contact your local Lowe's location. They will generally have recommended handymen that you may hire to assist.

Lowe's Service

I went into the garden department to purchase 10 bags of river rocks. I made eye contact with a female whom I started to approach. As I got closer behind her to ask for help, she began walking faster, so I followed at her pace. She then walked around a 2nd employee at the garden center to talk to a 3rd employee. I feel that she was avoiding me. The 2nd female employee was very kind to ask if I needed help, which I then asked for assistance to load 10 bags of river rocks. She went into the Lowes store to find someone for me.

She returned shortly and said if I would go ahead and prepay, I could drive to the back entrance of the garden department to make loading much easier.

A male showed up to help load the rocks. I asked him if he could help me place the merchandise into my truck in which he responded yes. I pushed the cart myself. On the wasy out of the garden center, a concerned male cashier asked me if I had a receipt, in which I produced and I told him that he was the only one in the entire store, aside from cashiers, to actually pay attention to me. (It was a compliment).

The man who was helping me load my truck re-appeared behind me and he began pushing the cart towards my truck and stopped to call his superior to report that he was going to be unable to complete one of his store tasks because he was helping in the garden center. Meanwhile, I began loading the rocks myself. I am sick and tired of the lack of customer service at this store.

I am complaining because I am a female senior citizen with a permanent left shoulder injury and do not have enough strength to load all of it by myself. This is not the first time this has happened in the Clovis, New Mexico store.

I often have to find items by myself and load them up by myself (even when a cashier calls for customer assistance) because when I begin to approach an employee 9 out of 10 times I am ignored.

Desired outcome: Re-train personnel to be aware of customers in your store and ask if they need assistance and help them.

Lowe's Product has never been delivered, and never issue refund

The complaint is for Order #[protected]

The order was placed online on June 12, 23.

It's over one month, and I still has not seen the refund. So after waiting for more 1&1/2 hours for the phone to be picked up, finally, the representative had cancelled the order, but she never has issued a refund. All her concern was if I could leave a good review for her.

If I don't see the refund, how can I give any good review?

Lowe's Billing

Lowes claims to have refunded our PayPal account for a cook top we returned that was over 800$ in March 2023. This refund never ended up in our account and they aren’t able to give us the account number it was issued to. We are currently in the hole over 800$ & Lowes refuses to take responsibility & blames PayPal. (Who also refuses to take responsibility). Our next step will be legal action towards Lowe’s.

Desired outcome: We want to see the account number the refund was issued to for confirmation it was issued to us (which we know it wasn’t).

Hopefully I can clear this up fire you. PayPal is considered third-party financing. This does create a difficult problem but not necessarily that of Lowe's. The bigger problem is what timeframe you have to dispute a transaction -- that being 60 days. Where this was so long ago, you may have forfeited your option to do so.

Lowe's Lowes Protection Plan

Called on the 27th and appointment for 28th, not show.

Called on the 28th and another service company scheduled... no call no email

Call on the 30th to find the second company cancelled the service call.

So next company is scheduled on the 30th for the 2nd. They show up on the 2nd and say that a system board will need to be ordered.

I call for status on the 5th and they haven't ordered it yet. They say that it will take 5 days to get the part and they will call when they get it in to schedule the repair. Lowes Protection Plan service is worthless. This is the 3rd company for this repair. No faith it will ever get repaired. The repair is more expensive than the washing machine. They are just wasting our time.

Call Lowes Protection, they say call the repair company.

Desired outcome: repair or replace within a reasonable period.

We appreciate hearing your concerns.

Ideally, problems with one's equipment doesn't happen at all. Unfortunately, when it does, parts and labor are rarely available immediately. To confuse the issue further, you have the holiday meaning that several service providers took a long weekend.

Ultimately the choice would be up to the warranty division but there may be the ability of canceling your service contract, allowing you to service the unit on your own. Contact the Lowe's location you purchased the contact through.

Lowe's Laundry center order number [protected]

Hello I am writing this because I tried to call but apparently a return call will take 4-6 hours! So much for customer service.

I ordered a laundry center for my condo that is a seasonal rental unit in its prime season at this time of year. I’ve had issue with my order from the beginning, when it was delivered, delivery men would not install, left no accessories, did not take old unit. I went to store that it was purchased, spent just over 3 1/2 hours trying to get this resolved. The manager finally gave us a discount for the messed up delivery. The resolution was made because we were going to make the 3 1/2 hour trip each way to go and install the unit ourselves. Sadly we get there and finally do install the unit, washer was making a weird noise, we thought maybe this was normal, then we turned dryer on and it wouldn't work. We press the close door button to see the problem and electrical sparks were coming out of back. In inspection we noted that there are quite a few dents, and the dryer door is crooked, it appears this unit was dropped or banged. Being as this is a rental unit, we had to inform guests that no laundry facilities were available, risking guest cancellation. Now we scheduled another replacement delivery which we had to block out the week of prime rental, losing quite a bit of funds and have to drive back again 7 hr round trip to accept new delivery, all the time crossing our fingers that this time it will go smoothly.

Desired outcome: desired outcome is for Lowe’s to take some of the financial responsibility that its poor delivery service has inflicted on us.. your customer service return call is absolutely horrible! I can be reached at [protected].

Lowe's A stove

Ordered 20 in ele stove from bayshore store on the 19 was told would be there the 26. Called the store not in. Tues went there had items to return waited 18 min on return line then walked away. There were only 2 people there were 8 people online. When the 3rd showed up, she tells the one girl finish your customer and you can go. She leaves walks around the barrier and stands by the door saying welcome to Lowes still 8 people online. Went to appliances walked around for 7 min before anyone showed up another 10 min go buy to be told it will be there wed. Went to lunch tried 3 times to call the store got disconnected sent to hardware then disconnected the 3rd time kept pushing buttons then hung up. Thought about it went back and cancelled the order got home checked my account the returned items were there but not the stove. Went back on Thursday to get the stove and was told it was cancelled. I then said Well I did not get the credit for it and the return showed up for that same day why not the stove no one had an answer. So back and fourth it was another 38 min before I left with the stove. Sunday I bring it the rental unit open the box there's chips on the top missing nuts and there is a stud that was pulled out and the porcelain damaged. I spent over an hour trying to get some service and being I lost 2 friends on 911 I feel that with all the time I spend the last 22 years waiting or pushing buttons that everyone could have gotten out of the towers and the pentagon, so you owe me 6500 at 100 dollar a minute please let me know when you'll be sending the money. I will not be going to lowes for anything in the future I'm done. Now today I have to go back there to see what they're going to do with the damage to the stove so more time out of my life.

Desired outcome: I want 500 for the stove and having to reschedule the install because I had some one meeting me on monday night to get it up to the 2nd floor

Lowe's 24-volt 2-pack 4 amp-hour; 4 amp-hour lithium power tool battery

Bought this battery pack online. They charged my credit card. Lowes has my money.

Now I receive a text and email stating that there is a problem with my order. I click the link to resolve the problem. Lowes makes me register for their scam filled website. Then they do not have any way to resolve the problem.

Lowes is an hour drive from my house so I call them. They say there is an HOUR WAIT!

This is clearly a scam to collect a lot of money from potential good faith customers, hold their money for several days, make the overnight interest on that money and eventually refund the customer or convince the customer to Upgrade to a more expensive purchase.

Lets Go Lowes!

This was the worst grill I almost got 5th degree burns, when you close the lid the entire grill started burning. Lowes in Woodbridge told me I would have to wait a week to have the free assembly but they at least answered the phone. The Union store the people day 1 were so unprofessional I called back day 2 I am still holding on a week later. The attachment is the amount of time I spent on the phone trying to get in touch with the Union store I eventually hung up after more than 1 hour of waiting

Lowe's Lied about delivery and won't refund delivery fee / after I had to pickup the merch

I just wanted to let you know the reviews I’ve been posting on yelp, Trustpilot, google, bing, and everywhere else I can. Quite disheartening though to see at all these sites you guys have yet to reach 2 positive stars. No wonder with the way you conduct business. Your staff is unintelligent, your management are cowards and won’t get on the phone, they lack the power or the want to make things right and you guys make out with our money…. Despicable the way business is ran in the Vero Beach Lowes… maybe hire some mature people with retail and customer service experience.. ohh and stop lying on your website promising things you can’t provide.

I would give ZERO stars if possible...

I would give ZERO stars if possible... ordered $500 worth of materials at noon and paid extra for same day delivery by 8:00PM / never showed up / and after calling multiple times, the reps indicate they have no control over the driver and can't reach him, almost like an uber driver, manager won't help either, glad i have a contractor coming in the morning and no supplies, demanded my 35 bucks for delivery be refunded and i would just come pick up my supplies, they don't know when that will be refunded because a 3'rd party needs to refund it to me ///. EVEN THOUGH THEY CHARGED IT ON MY CARD WITH THEIR ITEMS... this company is a joke and i will not shop here again... customer service ZERO / promise same day delivery if purchased by 2:PM well i purchased at 12:45PM and NOTHING... so they are liars... this company should not promise things they can't delivery... absolutely disgusting especially they way we were treated on the phone like we were bothering them!

Same day delivery is only available on select items and depends on truck availability. It sounds as if you failed to contact Lowe's to confirm.

Hopefully you have received your materials and ate now happy with the outcome.

Lowe's Whirlpool washer

Several attempts have failed to repair washer bought the protection plan that was offered by sales associate. Repair person sent for parts and then another repair person said he doesn't know anything about parts that were ordered run the washer till it breaks, which it now has. Now we need to get wash done and have no washing machine! Great customer service from a store we have trusted.

You business ethics is in dire need of repair, my suggestion is to fire all of those that put customers off until, they don't bother buying from lowes. Call me at [protected] if you have the time and money

Lowe's lawn mower

on June 19 2023 I paid for a riding lawnmower and it was supposed to be delivered on 6 27 2023 between 12 to 4.. The lawnmower was delivered at 8 p.m. four hours later than they were supposed to bring me

the mower that doesn't work and had rust on it.

After calling the store 12 times and getting hung up on 2 of the times so i let it go. I called the next day to have them come get the mower and ask that they switch it out with one that works and I was then told they couldn't do that but would bring a new one out on Friday now that was ok but how is it right for them to have the lawn mower and my $2000.

it's now 10;10 a.m. and another day is blown up as I called and found out they would be delivering the new one between 12-4 again. I am so disappointed in Lowe's for the way they treated me as a customer. And the nightmare continues

Lowe's Lowes home services

We used Lowes Home Services to replace 4 doors in our home. What was originally a 3 month project turned to 7.

Before our original install date, 3 doors were delivered and support noted the fourth would be brought by the installers. The day of, the store now has no record of the fourth door and when the installers arrive, the 3 doors we do have are the incorrect size and with defects. The installer even noted "This is a complete failure from Lowes." I should have just asked for a refund at that point. It took 2 weeks before the doors were reordered and anyone even apologized or took ownership of the mistake. What followed the next three months was a general lack of communication surrounding the status of our doors and no urgency to correct this as quickly as possible.

Eventually, it is discovered the reason the fourth door was not delivered was because it was never ordered, even though it was on our county work permit, in the original sketch of what was to be done, support confirming the door was on the order, and me sitting at my kitchen table picking one out with the sales rep. To the store's credit, they added the fourth door at no charge which was the least they could do.

The doors were all installed in May, four months after our original install date and seven months after we started. We had been very clear we would be looking for a refund for a notable portion of the $4400 we paid for this project given the challenges which were entirely Lowe's fault.

After all these difficulties, lack of communication, lack of ownership, and lack of apology, the Installation Support Team says a refund of $250 is not only fair, but generous. I have never been more insulted by a company. I used to only shop at Lowes for anything related to our home and considered myself a loyal customer, but never again. Congratulations on not only guaranteeing I will never shop at Lowes again, but also guaranteeing I will actively persuade everyone I know to never shop at Lowes.

Lowe's Riding mower

I have been a customer of Lowes since the day they opened their doors in Deptford NJ. Over the years I have bought everything for my home from light bulbs to a complete kitchen make over. The last few years this Lowes has gone down considerably as far as customer service goes. You have to search all over the store to find someone to help you and then you have to wonder if they know what they are talking about. In the last 2 years I have gone to Lowes for a microwave, refrigerator, plywood, just to name a few things, that I ended up going to purchase from Home Depot because of lack of service from Lowes. 2 years ago we bought a riding mower from Lowes and purchased the extended warranty for it because we were told that it would be INHOME service, meaning, the repair folks would come to the house yearly to change oil, sharpen blade and or any repairs that needed to done. We have now been told that is not the case, we waited weeks for someone to come pick up the mower for maintenance and now we can't get ahold of the place to check on it, nor are we getting a response from Lowes as to what the status of our mower is! I'm sure no one will care about this but, I would like to make you aware that this has been my last experience with Lowes, I will never purchase another item from your store. The lack of customer service is ridiculous and I'm sorry to say that you have forced me out of your store, I will now be shopping at my local Home Depot. Terri Albaugh [protected]

Lowe's Gutters installation

Good Morning.

We are reaching out for assistance on our Job Order from 3/3/2023.

Our contract indicates as part of our roofing project, Lowe’s will remove existing gutters, install new 5’ gutters and haul away debris.

The roof was installed at the end of May; however, the gutters were not.

I have contacted the installation department numerous times. They indicate they have reached out to [edited] (the in-home consultant) a couple of different times requesting the necessary documentation for the gutters to be installed.

I was working through a store manager/supervisor until the beginning of June and started contacting the installation team on June 8th.

Every time I call for an update, I have to wait 2 business days for an update, and another 2 days, and another 2 days, and so on.

I hope you are able to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Lowe's Delivery promises

The incident started on or about 21 June 2023. I purchased a riding mower from the Midwest City Oklahoma store with a promise to deliver it on Saturday 24 June 23. I was called and told that there was not a driver available so can they deliver Sunday and I agreed. When it didn’t show up on Sunday I called and was told that there was no delivery scheduled, so now promised on Monday 26 June 23 between 8a-12p….it never arrived. Called the store again and got the runaround before I spoke to whomever the power equipment manager is. He told me that there was three mowers there (someone also delivered the one assembled) but two were broken. I was told that one would be assembled on Tuesday 25 June 23 and delivered on Wednesday 26 June 23. He also informed me that he would compensate me for the time I had taken off in the amount of $250.00 (I make more than that in a day). The assistant manager, someone named George again told me that the item would be delivered today, however it still has not been delivered. I even asked if they could schedule the delivery after 4:30pm and was told that it had to be before 5pm. Now I am being told that it was scheduled for delivery anytime between 8am and 8pm. This is nothing close to what I was initially told. I am requesting to be compensated for my time that I had to take off without pay and even though I make more than $250.00 per day I am asking to be compensated in the amount of $500.00. I also want to state that I am a long time customer of Lowes but am seriously considering taking my business to Home Depot. I know I am only one person and my money won’t be missed.
