LG Electronics Range

Purchased a LG appliance package in October 2020. The range has never worked right. I've been dealing with this for almost a year. There was no serial number in the range, so that's the excuse they are using to not replace it. I bought a brand new range for over $1400, and it acts like it's possessed! Now they are saying it can be fixed without the serial number, but it's too late to replace it...NEVER, EVER AGAIN

LG Electronics 70 inch TV

Purchased a 70inch LG TV from Best Buy in September of 2020, by February of 2021 the TV started to automatically shut down/ turn off by itself mid programming. Then after that every time I try to start up the TV it turns on and the image is pixeled and the sound is baffled and the TV shuts down by itself and after about 20 seconds turns back on.

I reached out to LG customer service about this in March of 2021, the first thing they told me is that a technician would have to come up (in the middle of a worldwide pandemic).

A technician came out to the house and said the issue was the Wifi module, after a few weeks he came back and I had to help him remove the TV from the wall and help him un-assemble the TV. After the Wifi module was replaced the TV had the same issues in a few days, called LG back and they stated the tech would have to come out again. The tech came out again another 3 times and replaced other parts which I was not made aware of what they were. The TV continued having the same issues.

So again I reached out to LG, they stated an LG tech would now have to come out as the tech that came out was not from LG even though they were the ones that chose the tech and instructed him to come out. After a few weeks an "LG tech" came out, he stated the reason the TV was shutting off and doing what it was doing was because the cable box had power at the HDMI port and that's what was causing this issue.

I reached out to the cable company and their technician came out, when I told him what the LG tech advised he was in disbelief. He said of course the cable box has power, if it didn't it wouldn't power on. But anyways, he replaced the box and even used the same box on my other 4 TVs in the home and the box worked perfectly and the LG TV where he put a new cable box on continued with the same issue.

I reached back out to LG and they requested a report in writing from the cable company and a receipt for the purchase of the TV so they can process a replacement or refund of the TV. I contacted the cable company and within 3 days provided the report requested by LG to them along with the receipt for the purchase of the TV.

After 3 weeks of not hearing back from LG I contacted them once again and I was supposedly transferred to the executive affairs department or whatever its called. I was told by the agent that everything was being submitted to the refund department and someone would contact me within 3 days. After 2 weeks no one contacted me as expected so I reached out to them again, every agent I speak to tells me something totally different and they just push the blame onto another department.

So after almost 3 months dealing with the executive department and no resolution I reached out to LG via social media and they provided me with contact information to contact the Presidential Liaison department which I immediately did.

After speaking with Aquiria Jackson in the Presidential Liaison department on 7/13/21 I was told she would have this resolved for me immediately and I would be refunded or an approval for a replacement would be done in a few days and she would reach out to me. After 2 weeks and no update I reached out to her again via email for an update, she then asked me for copies of the cable company's report and receipt for the purchase of the TV which I had already provided to LG on two different occasions. Finally on 9/20/21 I received an email from Aquiria after requested multiple updates on multiple different occasions and she told me the following "As previously advised, you were processed for a Dealer Exchange with Best Buy at the beginning of September. You should have been contacted by Best Buy to facilitate and complete the exchange".

I immediately responded to her that she hadn't contacted me since July so I have NOT been advised of any Dealer Exchange or anything else from anyone.

I also did reach out to Best Buy to see if they were aware of something and Best Buy said they have not received anything from LG in regards to my TV. Since then I have been trying to reach out to Aquiria and the other contacts I have at LG and of course I have no response nor any update from anyone.

LG Electronics LG French Door Refrigerator - Compressor failed on 7/15/21 and LG has not resolved issue

July 15 We realized refrigerator went out

July 16 We called LG [protected]

• We were given a Repair # and told we would be contacted within 3-5 days. RNN210727020186

July 22 We called back and were told there is no local tech and they are still working on finding a repair company that would service our refrigerator and this could take up to 5 days. Still no call back from them. They issued us a $200 food voucher. (Received it 8/16)

July 27 We called back again and the guy told us that he was opening a Case for a Replacement Review. Said, I needed proof of purchase, and it would take up to 5 days for them to complete their review. CASE #CNN210729518577 No call back

July 28 I sent electronically, the copy of the purchase invoice from Lowes.

July 28 Immediately after sending this electronically invoice I received a text message stating that a Repair Request was opened for A&E to do the repair.

July 30 A&E text me with an appointment for 8/16 between 8-5

August 3 Received a text from LG stating that A&E would be contacting me to schedule an appointment for repair and I should contact them with any of my questions or concerns.

August 9 We called LG again- We asked about our replacement claim. She told us that it was denied, and that a repair appointment was set for 8/16, No reason as to why the replacement was denied.

August 16 10:30 I received a call from A&E (Sears) out of Illinois and they said the technician called in sick and it was being rescheduled to 8/31 We are now at 32 days without a refrigerator

August 31 Received text @ 7:27 stating the tech was on his way. 3:00 we called A&E for a status of when the Tech would be here. Was told he was scheduled between 8-5 and to give him a few more hours. At 6:00 we called again and asked where the tech was. We were told that the tech cancelled his appointment because he couldn't get a hold of me. I had phone with me all day, no missed calls and was told they have to reschedule to 9/28.

August 31 Called LG again. On hold a long time. Was told there is nobody to talk to that can say anything but, the situation is under review and will take 3-5 days for a response.

September 1 Called LG again. Was told once again, there is nobody to talk to that can say anything but, the situation is under review and will take 3-5 days for a response.

September 7 Called LG again. Was told a supervisor would call us back

September 8 Called LG again, about the supervisor who was supposed to call. They just took a message

September 9 Called LG again, to talk to a supervisor. But, yep- no one available. Give you 3-5 days for review of the replacement refrigerator.

September 17 Out of the blue on Friday, Sept 17 I get a text telling me a tech will be here on Monday.

September 17 Called LG again

September 20 You guessed it! A&E called at 11:30 and told me the tech was sick and they have to reschedule AGAIN!

September 23 Got a text @ 1:29 that a technician was on his way. Had to have Steve come home from work to wait so I could attend my a meeting. The Tech never showed up so @ 4:00 I called A&E. Spoke to a lady who was checking on the status of the tech. She came back on the line and started talking and then the line went quiet. I called back and another person told me to hold. 12 min later while on hold the line went dead.

September 27 A&E called to set up a new appointment time. Said that the tech was sick on the 23, when I asked. Earliest appointment is Oct 26th.

September 28 Called LG. They found a local company for us and gave us the phone number to call them. Then they cancelled my October 26 appointment with A&E. Didn't even wait to se if RJ Service Center could schedule us in. When we called RJ Service Center, the number stated that it was a non working number. We googled the business and there was no other contact information. They went out of business.

September 29 Called LG. Told us we need to wait for a phone call. It's been escalated. But there is no replacement ticket open, just a repair.

September 29 Shortly after the call with LG, Got a new message from A&E with a November 2nd appointment date.

September 30 Called LG Gave us a new Case # for replacement CNN210907535127.

We don't live in a rural area, we are within 1 hour from several big towns. We are almost 90 days into this and I have had to throw away food, buy a used refrigerator taking up space in my dinning room, have to make extra trips to the food store weekly because there is no room in what I have for a weeks worth of food, missed work to be available all day for techs that don't come, I have no water filter for drinking water, have no ice maker, have to buy bags that don't fit in the freezer.

I hope typing this up wasn't a waste of my time, as I just realized you don't ask for my name or contact information so how am I to get a resolution through doing this?

Desired outcome: I want the refrigerator replaced by LG or compensation to buy a replacement, plus payment for time lost from work.

LG Electronics LG Refrigerator French Door

I bought LG French Door refrigerator from very reliable vendor ABT store 9 years ago. Last year the refrigerator compressor stopped working. According to my claim LG sent its representative to change the compressor that was done. Now after 15 months the new compressor stopped working. Now the compressor still under the warranty but I have to pay for labor, which is from $375.00 and up. So the LG compressor has so poor quality that has to be exchange every year. During these 9 years the refrigerator had several problems that ABT technicians could not solve and I was dissatisfied with my fridge. I want LG pays for the labor because the company compressor has so poor quality. It's a shame! Do NOT ever buy LG production.

Desired outcome: I want LG cover the labor because the LG compressor has so poor quality.

LG Electronics Window air conditioner and warranty issues

I bought your 22K BTU AC unit from Home Depot on July 13, 2019. The AC quit working on June 3, 2021. I bought a three year extended warranty and repair from Home Depot the same day as I bought the AC unit. So here's the problem. When I called to start the claim, I called Home Depot. They told me to call you. You transfer me to 5 different people and finally send me the phone numbers of all these different repair places to come look at my unit. I am ALWAYS out of their service area. You even sent me the number to a guy in Nebraska...I live in Texas. When that doesn't work, you tell me my claim is under "review"... does it really take three months to review the claim that an AC unit doesn't work? Anyway, I call back. After three transfers, the last wonderful customer service rep hung up on me and transferred me back to Home Depot. So here's what I figure...you'll just keep giving me the run around until the extended warranty is no longer valid, which will be in 7 months. I can already see how this works. I know I'll just have to go buy another AC unit, but I will be buying a quality product like Friedrich this time around, and yes, I will be filing a complaint with Home Depot also. It's just really disappointing, all of it. If the extended warranty stuff had been dealt with differently, I probably wouldn't be typing this complaint, but I got tired of all the transfers and run around. I would like a refund since your warranty states that if a repairman cannot repair the product, a full refund will be issued, but I am starting to think that I will just be given numbers of out of service area repairmen until the warranty is expired. Oh yes, forgot to mention that I got a text from you about a month ago stating that the repair had been completed... ummmm...lol...nobody has been here. But if that's the way you want to handle my claim then fine, whatever.

This washing machine is really badly designed.

1. If you want to soak overnight you can't just fill the machine, pause it and resume the wash later. Oh no it resets itself after about 20 mins so you have to start again which pumps out the water and washing powder already in the machine so you have to use more washing powder and water. LG recommend you soak clothes in a bucket overnight.

2. If you do a spin only (my wife always spins washing twice to get it extra dry) it spins for about 12 minutes and then pours water onto the door seal which splashes all over the dry clothes wetting them again. LG say this is a feature to wash suds off the door and rubber before you open it but it makes spin only unuseable.

Desired outcome: get rid of the machine and replace it with one designed by someone who actually washes clothes

LG Electronics Refrigerator

Lasted one year and it quit cooling. The Service provider could not come for a week. So, obviously I bought a refrigerator. Reasonable man theory: modern civilization cannot go a week without a fridge.
This was purchased in 2019. LG does not care. There is currently a class action lawsuit.
Will never buy LG

LG Electronics Gas Dryer

We purchased a gas dryer from lg.com on 7/24/21 and it hasn't worked from the beginning. It arrived 8/16/21, was installed the next week, and will not operate. Numerous calls to customer service, two service technician visits, and no resolution. Promises of calls from the "escalation team" at LG within 24-48 hours but we've never been contacted. We are now told it takes 3-5 business days. This has been going on for five weeks.

LG Electronics LG refrigerator, Five Months to resolve my issue

My refrigerator has been broken for 5 months and my issue is not resolved, plus Really bad costumer service. Linear compressor failed and have been getting the runaround, As it stands right I am waiting on a refund. Since the
last responce 18 days ago have not heard back and no money. Customer service is really bad, they never respond in a timely manner, always take a week or more to hear from them.

LG Electronics LFXS26596S French Door Refrigerator

Won't freeze ice, won't maintain freezing temperature in the freezer compartment or proper temperature in the refrigerator compartment. Constant temperature is 54 degrees in both compartments.
This problem started on 5 Sept 2021. After five calls to LG and their promises to contact repair person, no calls returned.
With each call they say they have no authorized repair people in West Virginia, although we have contacted one repair service who says they receive work orders all the time from LG. Without a work order from LG we would have to eat the cost of repair and void the warranty.
Warranty is for five years and the refrigerator is two years old.

It sinks so bad inside ice can no longer be used. Refrigerator is less than to years old. AND STINKS SO BAD ALL FOOD IS NOW BEGINNINGS TO STINK AND TASTE BAD. REMOVED ALL WASHED EVERYWHERE. This is disgusting and maybe even harmful. Called 2 times. Bought filters to hang all through both sides. Cures it and less than 12 hours so bad you open the door and it's on again. Then on second call the person suggested we have rat living in my refrigerator. What the f... I do not think people who live in a nice home over $300, 000 would call your company to wonder what is up first That is something easily taken care of. The stink in this refrigerator is so bad unreal. And it cannot be fixed. You need to do something. Me I am going attorney hunting. This us do wrong

once again our refrigerator broke down had to wait for a&e to come out and diagnose they set appointment for repair never showed made new appointment for another day never showed your company and repair service is beyond disgusting have been dealing with this crap for 1 year stacks of invoices and shody repairs many days of lost work and money lost not to mention the spoiled food stanley or veronica bray [protected]

LG Dishwasher LDT5665ST Hybrid Condensate Dry ... this should basically State No Drying...
The word Drying added in any way in connection with this dishwasher is 100% misleading and untrue and Dishonest.
When we purchased this dishwasher we 1st noticed that it does not dry. Cleans ok and I thought I must be doing something wrong but that was not the case.
Condensate Drying is a lie. There is not heater not a hybrid it simply does not dry.
Saves you the cost of a heater in each unit, false advertising for the case of profit.
Truly dishonest and the unit without ability to dry is jus junk.
I may as well just wash the dishes myself as I'm going to have to dry them anyway.
I was a real LG fan until this dishwasher came along.

LG Electronics Refrigerator

The LG customer service for appliances repair has been delaying my urgent request for over a week now. I requested to speak to their higher managements, but was also giving runaround. The refrigerator has been having issue since day one. I have been trying contact them daily to fix my refrigerator, and it has been burden my daily life and my job. I need them to fix it and extend the warrenty or give me an upgrade.

I have been having issues with my refrigerator since day one as well and continue to get the run around from Home Depot where I bought it and LG! Just give me a new one, after 4 techs have come out and not been able to fix the problem.
Time to report you to the BBB!

LG Electronics LG ACER Solar Panel

I really don't know how to approach this situation, I have a 15K LG Acer solar system, installed last year. Since the time that it went on line I had 600W of electricity produced. I have contacted the company that installed the system. To have the system brought back on line. I have been told by Jim Sweitzer he had contacted LG and was told that the system was working, on different occasions he has promised that there would be a person coming to the house to repair it, then he told me that he had ordered the parts to have it repaired ( I asked how can you repair something that you have never looked at ), the promises has now been going on for 6 months. Last week My ceiling has started showing that there is a water leak where the system has been installed. Jim Sweitzer represents your company and doesn't a line with the customer care that you are projecting and seems to be a very poor representative of your company.

I contacted a different solar installer to see if they could repair / get the system on line. They asked who had installed the system. After informing them they did some research on the company. Informing me that the BBB certification had been revoked, Additionally on other sites there are complaints by employees of not being paid, and installers that has preformed jobs that have not been paid. I was then told that they were allowed by LG to work on systems that were installed by a different company.

On a personal note most of the time that this was going on was wife was in and out of the hospital with a terminal disease, on the 15th of July she passed. I now had the time to pursue this problem.

On July 5, 2018 from Home Depot in Missoula, Mt. and on June 30, 2021 my refrigerator quit working. I called LG on 7/1, 7/5 and 7/8 2021. Finally a repair technician from A & E came on July 21, 2021 and said it was a bad compressor. On August 9, 2021 the compressor was replaced and the technician left without checking to see if refrigerator was cooling, it WAS NOT, and another appointment was scheduled for 8/12, 2021 and the technician did not show. Another technician came on 8/18/2021 and said the Evaporator was bad. Another technician came on 8/23/2021 (RNN210820082827) and said refrigerator could not be repaired. I paid $1715.46 for the refrigerator and will attach payment info. I think I am entitled to $500 for loss food and no refrigerator for 58 days. Phone contact is [protected].

LG Electronics My TV

Hi Ten years ago my father and me wanted to buy tv . I bought an LG Tv ( 42-inch 5600) about . My father immediately bought a 42-inch Sony TV I always thought the LG brand was better but ... Three years ago, my TV had a problem connecting to the HDMI port, and it gradually went down. The repairman later said that most of these samples from the LG brand suffer from this problem due to the lack of coordination between the information supply and the cooling of the device, and for this reason, this sample was no longer produced. I paid a lot and the TV was repaired. Now my TV has found this problem again. but my father tv is ok . without pay any damages at all. I want you to pay the damages for its repair, because this defect in the design of your brand. Because I trusted your brand and I think it is not fair for me to pay for your mistake.
