Arrived at hotel at 12:30 at night to find blood on the baseboards in the bathroom, and vomit stains on several areas of the walls. Definitely not Covid safe. We are more likely to contract Covid (or aids) in this room than anything.
23 north 67th East Avenue Tulsa OK
My husband and I stayed at this hotel checking in Dec 2nd and checking out on December 9th. We had two rooms on the 7th and the 8th.
Our adult son was badly hurt while visiting Tulsa. His father and I flew in Dec 2nd from Phoenix and we all left Tulsa to go home on Dec 9th.
Our son had a very complex surgery which included a chest tube into his lungs, deflating his lungs for 9 hours and a spinal fusion surgery because he smashed one of his vertebrae.
Guests and employees alike were not wearing masks. Hell, even the manager or owner was not wearing mask.
When I inquired about the policy, the clerk said ‘I've gone into gas stations where they're not wearing masks'. I kid you not, that was the word for word response.
Yes, there was a sign on the door. But guests were not asked to mask up and again, even staff were not wearing masks.
False accusation
This is a very mild complaint compared to what happened to me yesterday in another place. I thought this incident was isolated... But after reading these complaints I see that La Quintas are not employing reputable people for their staff and that's a huge problem. But this was mild compared to yesterday for me and some things I've read on here: I was just...

My family checked into the La Quinta Inn San Marcos Texas with a 5 day reservation. We extended our stay for an additional 2 nights. The 3rd day a local church was going to pay for another week. We lost our home due to covid and are struggling. The la quinta denied the renewal of our lease. When I asked why I was told the room was dirty. They hadn't seen...

I had a prepaid reservation for La Quinta By WYNDHAM ORANGE COUNTY Airport paid through Booking.com, confirmation # 2158863817 under the name of Merkin Valdez, paid by Visa ending (6327), Billing Name: David Levine, for the total amount of $179.28
Upon arrival to the hotel on 11/18, Merkin Valdez and I, Gemma Alvarez were asked for a new credit card to used for check in purposed only. A different card was used at that time to ensure that I could check in. Master card ending (9065) At check out on 11/2p, I was charged again the amount of $179.26.
I spoke to Juan at the front desk and also to Patricia, they both were very rude to me. They told me that I did not understand the way the billing worked and that that they would not be crediting me back for the charges. That it was not their problem and I needed to contact Booking.com not them. I tried to explained to them that I had already contacted Booking.com and they told that there was nothing they could do to assist me.
I believe the front desk agent made a mistake instead of ensuring that the confirmation#2158863817 was used and credited correctly, he added new reservation under confirmation# 88673EC054112, Account/Invoice #109-070960 and charged again. At this time, I would like to be credited back to my mastercard credit card ending (9065) the amount charged for $179.26
Assaulted physically while at your hotel
My son paid for a block of 8 rooms for Saturday (November 14th) 2020. to celebrate my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday. The receptionist ensured my son that we would not have a problem, given that we would have 8 rooms, and would be returning that evening to be celebrating our Daughter in law's 30th birthday. Without including a TON of detail, my daughter...

My name: Robert Bryant
Guest's name: Gordon R Bryant
Dates of booking: Wed. 28th Oct. through Friday 30th Oct. '20
Date of making booking: 28th Oct. '20
Cancellation Number: [protected]
Confirmation Number: 89505EC024087
Account Number: [protected]
How made booking: Googled "La Quinta", "Central Point, Oregon"; called number that popped up and verbally (by phone) made the reservation
Problem: Drove from my hotel on E. Barnett Drive to meet my son (Gordon - Guest) to give the $100 'incidentals' deposit with my credit card. Was told by receptionist (Tina Patel) in a nasty way that booking was cancelled, as Oregon/Medford rules say that they cannot accept a guest from within 20 miles of the hotel [I have no problem with that rule]. I asked for my money back [credit] (I used American Express to make the booking), and Tina said that I had to get my money back through Priceline. I said I did not book through Priceline, but that I had googled La Quinta at Central Point, Oregon, and made my booking through the phone number that popped up (and any sane person would assume they were booking with La Quinta). I said that my not being able to get my money back for a cancellation that was initiated by La Quinta and not me was 'criminal'. She was insolent, threatened to call the police and asked if I wanted to spend the night in jail, for no obvious reason, and said that I had to call Priceline. I got a cancellation printout from her, went home to my hotel, called Priceline, could not speak to a human, and the computer did not recognize my phone number which I had given when I made the booking. Bottom Line: Priceline have no record of my having made a booking for La Quinta (as your nasty receptionist Tina Patel said). I called American Express to put a 'disputed charge' against La Quinta/Priceline; they said that they showed a pending charge by "Book A Room", but nothing for Priceline (which Tina at the front desk insisted was the agency I booked through).
Suggestion: 1) Sort out the algorithms that your agencies use for bookings
2) get rid of Tina: she is NOT the type of person you want at your front desks. She has caused you to lose a client forever.
I will not ever be staying at a La Quinta Inn again because of the above two reasons, and I will be passing my feelings on to all my travelling colleagues/friends.
Regards,
Robert D. Bryant

Customer service and rooms
Was going really great until about 2 am 10/24. We discovered the walls and doors are very thin. Someone came in speaking very loudly and woke us up. Called the front desk to make a noise complaint and the worker (Christopher) told me a short description of the person and what room that they just checked into. I told him that I really didn't care who was in...

I totally understand the covid situation, however the website said breakfast included. The covid disclaimer stated that the breakfast might be limited. Upon arrival we were not informed there was no breakfast and limited house keeping. I am not concerned about that. I did book your hotel because it was advertising the included breakfast. I must say I was extremely upset. I feel this is false advertising.

On 10/09/2020 at approximately 11:30 pm I arrived for a reservation at The La Quinta Hotel on Buck Owens Street in Bakersfield, CA. I was assisted by a woman at the front desk who proceeded to payment. She asked me if I reserved a "king room", I told her I did. I stated that I chose the "Deluxe King" which is equipped with kitchenette features. She then...

Additional pet charge
I stayed with my dog at the La Quinta Inn in Casper, Wyoming on the night of June 11. At check in I was charged a pet deposit to cover any pet damages, which I paid. On check out I was not notified of any additional charges resulting from my stay. ON August 5, however, I noticed a charge on my credit card (dated July 3) from La Qunita for an additional $25...

My husband and I were driving in from Phoenix Jul 2, my Birthday, to stay at the North Pueblo La Quinta but once we reached Silverton at 9 p.m. we knew there was no way we could make it that night. I called the hotel directly to let them know the situation and to asked if there would be a penalty if we cancelled only that evening and stay the remaining 3 nights of our reservation made through booking.com. He then hesitated and said " Well, ok I guess so". I clarified we were on the same page and said " so you will cancel tonight without a problem or penalty"? He begrudgingly said "yes". I was so thankful and felt it was the best Birthday gift I could have received. After driving the whole next day from Silverton we arrived on 7/3 exhausted around 10:30 pm. I couldn't have been happier since we were getting up at 5 a.m to drop my dog off at a daycare and meet up with friends at 7 a.m. to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary on July 4th. When we arrived at the hotel I gave our name to the man at the desk. He seemed to quickly know who I was and said he talked to me and he cancelled our reservation. I said "oh you were the one that was so helpful last night. I said thank you again and then asked about our room. He then said the last thing I needed to hear especially since I have multiple health issues and was suffering severely at that moment. Rico then said very defensively " I cancelled your whole reservation so there isn't a room for you". I said " why would you cancel our whole reservation when I was very clear we would be here tonight until the 6th and even asked you about adding the extra night onto the end of our stay? Rico, did and said everything that just made the situation worse. He immediately became defensive, didn't apologize, didn't try to resolve the problem when I asked him to rebook the rooms he cancelled, didn't offer to find us a different dog friendly hotel and even refused to help me when I got upset because of his incompetency. He started to pace in circles behind his desk while stepping back from the face shield and acted like he was starting to have a melt down. Imagine how I felt having traveled 2 days over my birthday with disabilities exhausted just to get there knowing what my schedule was the following day on our 6th yr Anniversary. His mistake could have been resolved or at least smoothed over had he conducted himself in a professional considerate humble manner but instead he only argued with me. Never was he willing to except or admit he misunderstood or misheard me or that he made a mistake. He also never expressed or showed he had any concern for the position he put us in for the next 3 nights.
Room conditions / incompetent management
I have been going to two locations in plantation, fl for 2 years. I am a rewards member and stay many times a month usually. Have had well over 40 reservations over past year, with many of those multiple nights and several times 10-20 days or more. I have watched this chain go down the drain and repeatedly every visit almost have issues. Management i...

Charges on room reciept for days payed for but not used. And double charge for pet fee. Night manager couldn't explain to me the ending balance. We checked in on 5/23 no mention from front desk about pet form or fees. When I checked out the night manager couldn't explain to me while I was charges the full stay when I checked out on /27. Our stay was paid up to 6/2. Also had to deal with noisy hallways, doors slamming, guests in other rooms smoking weed, people using their card to try to get into my room, and people knocking in our window and door all hours of the night.
