Jack in the Box, San Rafael, CA.
I went through the drivethru in this particular Jack in the Box and ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with an egg roll and a small drink. When I finally received my order, only the Teriyaki Bowl was present. I asked the cashier if I could have the rest of my order. He informed me in heavily accented broken English that I did not order anything else. Naturally I informed him that I did. This is when he started yelling at me. Yes, YELLING at me in Spanish. He asked for the bag of food back and told me to pull around front.
Now, I thought perhaps he was fixing my order, and was maybe apologetic for completely loosing his cool, but when he came out with a receipt in his hand demanding my debit card, I knew that wasn't the case. He shoved the receipt in my face and said something indecipherable that sounded like "see? I told you, you didn't order anything else!"
At this point my husband goes into the restaurant to speak with the manager, and I follow behind. My husband points out the manager that the person who took the order does not speak or understand english well, and shouldn't be yelling at the customer for his shortcomings. I knew all was lost when the manager opens his mouth and says in a very heavy indian accent that the problem has nothing to do with language.
I asked for the food I had already paid for and told them to forget the rest, I didn't want to bother any more. And beleive it or not, the manager refused, and demanded my debit card once again. In a state of absolute shock, I reached over the counter and just grabbed my bag of food and left the restaurant.

I received 6 tacos which i did pay for w/little to no lettuce and a cheesburger w/no cheese and was told they were out of secret sauce.
I love Jack in the Box but do not eat fast foods often, so i was so looking forward to enjoying the taste of the of my favorite junk foods.
The pronlem is, if i have to stop and check my order in the fast food line everytime i go than there is nothing fast about it.
Employees need to pay more attention to orders. My receipt clearily stated tacos w/extra lettuce and a cheesburger, neither in which i got.

Went to jack in the box this morning, the food was so gross. the eggs where so dried, the hashbrowns so greasey. nothing good about this breakfast! everything tasted as if where a few days old. never again will i eat breakfast there.

i work at the jack in the box in Pasadena, Ca. Store #323. This has happend to me twice already, i've been suspended from work for a week without so much as a phone call to let me know.. i've been expected to just show up to work and find out im not on the schedule at all... i wonder if this is against the law... my manager has been giving me 4 hours A WEEK! and crazy schedules like midnight to 4 on a Saturday night... and i dont even have a car.. i'm expected to take the bus at those hours? i wonder how you are supposed to take those orders out on time when the people you work with all go upstairs at the same time to do god knows what for hours and i'm left by myself to do everything.. and then I get in trouble for not being fast enough... completely unfair if you ask me! almost enough to make me want to sue...

Hi This is Maria, I was trying to make a complaint but not sure if I’m at the right place. I worked at this location for a few weeks, I’ve worked for jack in the box for 10 yrs and I decided to work part time at this location for my upcoming vacation. I was fired without an explanation and was unable to contact the manager as he had blocked my number. Through out my employment there I saw several issues.. There was a team member working under the name of Melecio Martines that was taking money from the registers and using it for their personal use, then he would make orders to replace the money he would take. He would also call others to clock him in and get there a few hours later. Other employees would do the same and he would return the favor. This person also took money from the jack in the box safe, using it for personal use and would replace it in time for management not to notice. I have prof of insidents with call records and times and dates. When I brought some issues to attention I was let go a few days later and it angers me that they see what’s happening and fire the people that are being honest instead of someone that can do this type of thing. Many times I also saw fake dollar bills given to customers and they would keep the original real money. On occasions sex would occur while an order was taking place and food would be getting done. The manager was part of the problem too since I didn’t want anything to do with him I feel that’s the other reason I was let go. I notified the owner and GM about the issues but it seems it is not as important and like this man Melecio had mocked me before, he could do what ever he wanted without being fired. This person is working under false information his name is Roberto Salazar and I have prof of that.

My husband and I had eaten a sirloin burger and a jumbo jack with cheese. In less then 24 hours we both had food poisoning. I tried calling the corporation and filing the complaint but I was told there was nothing that could be done without a full emergency room report. Neither one of us can afford an ER bill right now. There was a line of about 8 cars at Jack in the box and i was being rushed. I ordered my food, gave them my card got my food and left. It wasn't until i got to work that i realized I didn't have my credit card. I called the jack in the box to see if they had it. They denied it and i had to cancel my card and now wait for a new card to come. This is the third time that they had forgotten to give me my card. You could say that i should have asked for it back, but it's not my job to ask for it and quiet frankly i was being rushed and forgot. How hard is it for them to give me my damn card back? I'm a poor college student, and without a credit card, I'm outa luck for money the next couple days.
I was in this restuarnt this morning for breakfast at approx. 8am. After placing my order I sat down at a dirty table and noticed all of them were dirty, the serving counters had food and beverage stains all over them, the trash collection area was cluttered with old food and the inside area was buzzing with flies. I was unable to finish eating due to the dirty condition. I doubt if I will return to this convient stop. There is no excuse for a dirty eating area. Sorry Jack but I can't come back.

i live down the road and have been going to jack for years now, i love to eat late at night and usually i don't mind waiting 10 min to get my food, but recently there have been many other people eating the delicious jack burgers at 2-3 am and i am tired of waiting for up to 30 min on my food because there is only 1 person working, the management needs to make sure there are at least 2 if not 3 people working the night shift, i hate having to go to mcdonalds, so please take care of this issue, again the jack is on eldridge at briar forest 77077, thanks
I am very disappointed with the commercials that Jack in the Box is running. They do not need the sexual or other inappropriate behavior to sell their food. The commercials should encourage people to eat their food, not disgust them. I will not eat at a Jack in the Box unless the commercials clean up.
08-21-12, I wanted to try the all sooo advertised "all american combo meal", what I tasted was DISGUSTING! the meat was DRY. buns were SOGGY & FF was stale & cold! The enter ingredients was MUSHY and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! I Couldn"t eat it & had driven too far to return the combo mess! The sad thing is I had not eaten @ this establishment in many many years & thought with all the advertisment, Jack in the Box had gotten better... GOD knows I was wrong wrong & wrong. Becareful of what you THINK can CHANGE, you maybe throwing your money away tooooo!
We ordered four sour dough breakfast jacks with bacon, and we received four sour doughs with two pieces of cheese and bacon, no egg. My husband went in the store and complained, they said they couldn't hear the order well. We went through the drive thru, and it was the store on Dana Avenue in Redding, Ca. They also thought we only wanted one, and we even repeated the order to make sure at the window. Still received the wrong order.

SOOO ANGRY and DISGUSTED! My husband & I went to Jack in the Box for dinner. I was good and just got grilled chicken strips. We got home, I ate one of them and as I bit into the 2nd one I felt something strange in my mouth. It was a COARSE BLACK PUBIC HAIR... I am SOOOOOOOOOO disgusted! I can not believe that I pulled a coarse black PUBIC hair out of MY MOUTH. I mean seriously, how in the world does that get into food?! Shocked, angry and absolutely DISGUSTED! I used to eat their grilled chicken strips at least once a week, love them, but don't think I can ever even go to Jack in the Box ever again. Makes me want to throw up just thinking about it. (my family has asked me if it could possibly be a hair that has fallen off of someones arm, etc. ABSOLUTELY NOT, this is DEFINITELY from the pubic region. I visit jack in the box as usual. I went throug the drive thru the shift leader took my order.I ORDERED 3 jack spicy chiken sandwich with cheese nd 1 with extra cheese, an ultimate cheese burger, bacon potato wedges with extra bacon, #4 WICH IS A SOUWERDOUGH JACK combo mediem with curly fryes nd sprite, an extra order of curly mediun fryies, an a regular oreo shake my order # was 183. Like about a week ago I got a shake, as the young man was taking the money from the car in front of my mustang. He was steering and grinning at my girl, he gave change still I noticed he wasn't focusing on his work but on my girl friend. So even as his handing out the order he was still steering at her, as I i am shocked that he has a stupid smurk on his face. I pulled over and talked to the manager and tried to explain the situation but immediately denied his actions, so I asked her so your covering up for him. She denied that to so I walked out furiously out the door and insulted. During my lunch time I decided to go through drive thru at this Jack in The Box and simply ordered an Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger. I pay at the window and grab my food and when i get to work i see the burger is not only the wrong burger but also has "NO MEAT" in it. Just what kind of joke is this? So i head back to the restaurant and gave my bag back to the girl whom appeared as a shift leader of some sort. I asked her to correct my order and return my money for the inconvenience and for their mistake, "NOT MINE" theirs. She then gave me a new burger and offered fries and a drink which I said "no thank you, the burger will do". As i waited for my cash return, she looked at me in confusion and told me she could only replace one or the other not both. I gave her burger back and asked for my money instead and told her I would rather spend my money elsewhere if the treatment of complaints will be of such manner. I went to the local jack in the box like I always do (I love jack) I went thru drive thru, I ordered a supreme crossaint with no egg add letuce and tomato. When I got to the window there was a youg man and young lady, the young man kept asking the cooks if the sausage croissant was ready (I hate sausage) when it was ready the young lady handed over to me and I told her I order a supreme croisant right not a sausage she gave me a rude look and didnt answer. There was alot cars behind and I didn't want to hold up the line. So I decided to park and check my sandwich and of course it was a sausage croissant. I got off my car went to the from told the guy I order a supreme croissant not a sausage he said what's the difference? I told him I dont like sausage I wanted ham and bacon just like croissant has he gave it to the cook but they kept questioning what I wanted I said I want a supreme croissant just like it come but dont put egg and add letuce and tomato they seemed confuse (Like it so hard right?) I told him that I had mentioned it to the young lady but she ignored me. She then got defensive and said well maybe you should of spoken louder, I said excuse me she started being rude and I told her she should not be talking to me this way if her job is customer service she then said I can talk to you any way I want and what are you gonna do about it I said well of course file a complaint she said you think I care I stood quite did not want to cintinue the conversation she then handed over my sandwhich and told me, well you make sure you file that complaint and I said don't worrry vanessa I will.
When I got to my car my sanwhich was still done wrong and I just threw it away after what happend I din't trust eating it. I'm gonna try to file a complaint who knows what I will get out of it I thought it they will do anything about it. But I know for sure I will no longer be going to the santa paula jack in the box I will just have to drive to the next town.

Today is Christmas eve, I understand the frustration but I was treated so rudely. First it was 7:25 the line was from the order screen to the red light. People waited for over 45 min while only a couple cars moved. Then a rude employee came out and screamed at us they were closing. First of all that was unprofessional and we waited for a long time from 7:25 til 8:11 then was told they were closed. I think that obviously this jack in the box was closing early for the holidays and I understand that but to only move 2 cars in over a half an hour is just wrong. They didn't want to do their job then they need to look for other employment. I mean they should all be fired. There was exactly 9 cars waiting in line and I bet I ant the only one complaining. This needs to be looked into and actions need to be taken. They not only made us waste our time but costed your company money. [protected]

I do like Jack in the Box, but the service at the Bellmead store definitely not good. The sour dough jack was cold and not prepared right, the curly fries were cold and so was the big Texas cheese burger. The food that was handed to us must have been sitting there for a while. We ordered a Large on the menu and did not get the free antenna ball advertised with it, and the shake machine was down. Did not even get a receipt to take the survey and let the company know. Went through the drive thru.

I go by jack in box early in the morning between 405am-430am and it's suppose to be a 24HR. Business but it's close at lease 5 days a week at this time you can go by their and order something you'll see then just drive off don't say nothing just come back the next 6 days I promise 5 or 6 of those days it will lie and say the computer is down at store #375 phone#[protected] on 249 and bammel n houston rd. I will agree with the young lady who went to the Jack in the Box who receive terrible service. Regardless if her spelling was not correct she was a customer. People who take the time to complain that is a good thing because so many customers at restaurants like Jack in the box serve food that is not acceptable and when you work hard for your money you do not want to waste it. I am speaking from experience Jack in the box in Euless Texas. DO NOT EAT THERE! They also have hair in their food they can never get their orders right. When you see Jack in the box commercials on television about how their food is cook to order. How their service is fat service. False advertising not true. What this restaurant do not understand is that they never know who they are serving. So therefore, they should serve good quality food and friendly service at all times. You trust that when you go to Jack in the Box you are also feeding your family so I must know at all times that I am feeding them good quality food. I received a call back from the District Manager who was Rafael who was worse than the store manager. I stated to him it is not about the correction of the food it is about what else are you serving in Jack in the Box. To Rafael the district manager over Jack in the Box the reason you were offered that position because I sure the owner thought you were capable of taking care of his customer. If you cannot handle the job please resign for the sake of the restaurant. You do not deserve that position because you have poor customer service skills and failure to know how to handle your customers. The Jack in the Box in Euless store#155 get an F for failure to serve clean and hot food. That woul;d be the Jack in the Box on highway 10 to be exact. My son went with a friend to Jack in the box and they ordered a drink and curley fries. While they were eating the manager told them to get out of the store and never come back! When my son told me that when he got home, I questioned it because it did not sound right so I asked my son what happened and he said he didn't know. He said that he dropped a fry and bent down to pick it up and the manager started yelling at them to leave and not come back. My son said they had both asked the manager if he could at least tell them why and the manager just kept ignoring them. So I called the Jack and Box to try and find out what happened and I asked for a manager and it sounded like he tossed the phone down and just left it off the hook and no one ever came to the phone. It had been setting off the hook for aprox 15 minutes before my husband and I went down there to see what happened. I thought maybe they were too busy to come to the phone .When we got there, there was only one customerin the store. So we asked him about the incident and he said it was him and he threw them out because my sons friend was coughing in the store. So I told him he threw them out and told them to NEVER come back because he was coughing in the store? And he got real snippy and said "yes" and he also was spitting. I said where was he spitting? And he said, " Well he was coughing and spitting." Well I came to get the Genaral Managers number and store number and he walked off and started ignoring us off. The when we had to tell him again that we wanted information to the General Manager he yelled at us and told You'll get it when HE"S ready, and I said yea like when you just droopped the phone and left me hanging earlier which I did not appreciate. He started yelling, I did not do that I talked to you! I said no you didnt, maybe it was the other parent but it was not me! And he said Yes it was YOU! Then he walks off and disappears, and we waited for probably 5 minutes maybe longer waiting for him to come back with the number. I finally went out to my car to try and get some paper and a pen to write the number down and when I came back in my husband said he told him he called the cops on us. Okay so whatever, I came to get the general Managers number and the guy said heres the number and rudely points to a little pamplet that says a 1-800-Jack number. Then he says " You havent heard the last from me." and so we left and had to drive to Baycliff which is about 7 miles away just to get a number from the Baycliff store because the manager was so rude and uncooperative at the other one. So while I was waiting this morning for the 1800 number to even open, I found all the websites here of reviews. I was shocked at some of these reviews. I also found a corporate website and when I went in to file a complaint with it, it takes you through a form that gives all your private information and then gives you options to show what store it number it was and when you click on it it places the store location and number at the bottom of the complaint and it just redirects your complaint to the management of that store. That really worried me because the manager had already said, this is not the last time you hear from ME." This guy would of had all my information so now I am going to have to try and speak with a Corporate manager. I did speak with my son's friends mother about it later that evening and she said she had called and talked to the manager and the manager told her that they had done NOTHING Wrong but that he told her her son was coughing in the store. So when I got there he had a real attitude... A BAD ONE! Thats not a good thing especially since probably MORE than half of their business comes from kids across the street at the high School.

I don't think the coughing was the issue, I think it was the spitting. If his cough was that bad he should have went to the restroom. Would you want to eat in a place where someone was spitting.

i play santa claus at st clair square mall every year for 4 hrs. a day or night and i'm always starving afterwards and stop at jacks no matter what. i always get excellent food& service. your place is where i want to go. i'm not 1 to complain but i don't think i'll go back. fri. nite & sun eve.both times i waited 20-25 min. in line to get my food, which i don't have a problem with--buttttt you guarantee hot food u know not made until u order but both times different orders both were ice cold.the last time 11-9-08 i tried srln steak melt combo with an order of egg rolls(3)got 2 with no napkins or s/s sauce burned my butt-could not eat cold food. like i said i never ever complain my 1st time. guess i'll go to mac's. i hate to think it. that will be 28 times for a big mac bah hum-bug SANTA

I recently was returning home when I stopped in a Jack In the Box franchise that I usually stop. It was passed the opening time and I was told they were closed. After talking to a patron he told the new manager was scared to open because of the Louisiana people that may be evacuating from Hurricane Gustav. I waited a while and left hungry. I was not evacuating I was just going home after a Labor Day vacation. When I left I saw all their lazy ### sitting at on of the tables drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. This jack in the box notoriously hires illegal aliens. Everyone in cottonwood knows it, and has to make adjustments in their orders. Don't even try going thru the drive thru. You must order in spanish or you will not get your order. I have stood inside and gave my order to the girl they have running the only register and told her, point blank, that I don't want ham or cheese and she has no idea what I am talking about. The manager will come out if you are ordering anything that the girl can't point to on the menu, and then they are all pissed off about it too. You know you don't want to eat the food at that point. What I don't understand is that this is a town with plenty of college grads and teenagers, we don't lack for a work force, we have plenty of english speaking teenagers. The other fast-food and regular restaurants hire english speaking people. Why is this one "restaurant" insisting that I order my tacos or hamburgers "carne asada w/no cebellos" I think that's right anyways, since I didn't get onions last time. Why don't they insist their employees speak english instead of making us learn their language so we get our orders right?

I live in Corpus Christi, Texas I went to the Jack in the Box on Airline and SOUTH padre island drive, the cashier was real rude never cracked a smile. The Dr. Pepper was waterly so I told her and asked her if they could change it she said I have to finish here . I would have understood if she had said nicely someone will change it in just a minute. Then I had to wait a long time for the Dr. pepper to be replaced so my order came and the cup holders are real flimsy and I had two cup holders and two bags of food so I told her I need help to take all this to the car (Iam disabled and the handicap parking is way away from the door again she was rude finally she told someone she needs help carrying all that. But to me she was giving me an attitude and making me feel like she was doing me a favor, she doesn't realize that its because of customers that she has a job and jack in the box is open . I asked her what is your name because I will be making a compliant and she said what I said What is your name she looked at the other worker like I was crazy and she fused to give me her name so I told her thats ok your the only black person here anyway. I went to a jack in the box in phoenix store number 1524 at 10:39 pm was told my debit card was denied so I paid cash surprised that my card didn't work. Since then I have used my card a few times with no problem. While traveling I fell upon entering a Jack In The Box location. I have received nothing but the run around from the company regarding basic medical expenses. I have to complete medical treatment before they will consider my claim. I do not have the resources to pay for the medical tests that the doctor has ordered. The person handling this matter will not return my telephone calls.
It appears that the only way to get any help is to talk to an attorney. My is a simple request. My medical bills are under $100.00 at this point, but the company refuses to even talk about this matter.

This morning I visited my local jack n the box. Been for years. Today there was a woman walking passed my car in the drive thru area. it startled me since perris is crime infested and she came out of no where. I drove thru trying not to hit here as this drive thru is made for cars not employees trying to clean the drive way. This location on perris blvd location #136 is the only one where they have employees walking thru the drive thru making it difficult to focus and sometimes scares a person not expecting this. why 9am in the am. clean ur drive thru when customers are not present. I purchased 10 taco's at the Jack In the Box on Bonnie view Road and I-20. They served me old tacos, just opened them up and stuffed them with lettuce and sauce, plus they were cold. The burgers very dry with very little sauce and the meat is very dry as well. I Have experienced this on a number of times. I have been going to Jack in the box for MANY years now. I know what I like and how I like it. Apparently, Jack in the box at Francis and Division, in Spokane, WA, prides itself on hiring people who are not only deaf, but dumb. I have been there 3 times, and all three times, today being the last, I was not at all impressed. The first time was on my way to work, so no time to go back and get my order corrected. I had ordered a Jacks Spicy Chicken, with cheese, add ketchup. I even asked the girl to PLEASE DONT FORGET THE CHEESE. Well, I was certainly charged for it, but never got it, or the ketchup. The second time, all I wanted were tacos. That's it, nothing fancy. I got my tacos. I got my cold, rubbery, inedible tacos. At that time I SWORE I would never go there again. So today, again, on my way to work after leaving the Dept of Vehicle Licensing, I was hungry, and dang it if that Jack in the box wasn't the closest thing. So I decide I would give it a shot. I ordered a Ultimate Cheese burger and a medium drink. As I am creeping closer to the front of the drive through, the car in front of me gets its order, 1 bag, 1 drink. I thought the guy was taking a while to check his order out since it couldn't have been much in the small bag. Then I see the bag and the drink being passed back to the drive thru girl. After a bit of conversation between the customer and girl, a larger bag, with a larger drink gets passed back to the guy in front of me. Apparently happy, he pulls away. My Turn! But I had a sneaky suspicion, that it was MY order that had been given first, rifled through, then passed back. AND I was right. When the girl told me the total and expected me to pay, I asked her if that was the same bag that had been passed back and forth. And judging by the multiple grease marks on the bag, it had been. So that told me that the guy in the car in front of me not only handled my food, but unwrapped it to check it out, and they were going to now sell it to me. I told them never mind and drove away. I never complain about things like this, but 3 times, in a row, of poor service is ridiculous. sorry for the long story, but it had to be told!
I was a regular customer of a nearby jack in the box. i normally order breakfast jack's with mayo. The store raised the price from .99 to 1.19. thought it seemed strange but did not think much of it until i went to another nearby store and the price was .99. i made this my new store and ordered breakfast jack with mayo and now the price is raised to 1.19.
I can agree with the service on Lindell Blvd in Saint Louis, Mo. I have been going there for many years at different times of the day and I can say that out of probably 50 times I have been there I have only had 1 good visit and that was because the manager at the time had took my order. They have for the last 5 years I have been going there they are always pulling the cars in the drive-thru to save on their drive-thru times I assume. I have been asked to park on the side or pull in parking spot every time but once, and when they bring out your order they forget who's is who's, I always have to run back in because there are no condiments(even when I ask for hot sauce, ketchup etc.. ) its never in the bag and half of the time I get the wrong order. Today I stopped in at about 6:45am before work (had to be at work at 7am right around the corner). There was a sign on intercom in drive through stating to pull to window intercom is broken, I could heat someone speaking but couldnt understand, so I pull around and noone, NOT NOONE came to window nor did I see anyone in the store from where I was in the drive-thru, I sat there for almost 10 min but had to leave so I wouldnt be late for work, needless to say I came to work hungry this morning, I came to jackn box because mcdonalds was playing the same game of not answering the intercom and they are supposed to be 24hrs...Whats going on with fast food restaurants on Lindell Blvd?
I don't usually do this but your store in St. Louis MO on Lindell at Sarah (JIB#4122) was so bad on so many levels. There was a couple in front of me who ordered 6 tacos and a burger, myself, then a couple after me (and there was no one in the drive thru). The first couple began to complain about the wait and then were given part of their order (they were 2 tacos short) and returned the sandwich because it wasn't what they ordered. The couple who came after me was apparently related to the lady taking orders. They began to complain and got their order (which consisted of 2 tacos, fries and a sandwich). I had ordered 2 tacos, fries and a soda for there. I finally went to the register and was given a sack with my food in it. While I was standing at the register waiting for my meager order a woman had come in ordered, got her order and left. The table I sat at as I watched everyone else get their food and waited for mine was filthy. When I stood to finally go and see about my order I stuck to the floor to the point that I could hear each step I took. It appeared that there were 3-4 people in the kitchen working (semi) and the person taking orders. I simply don't understand this kind of service as there was absolutely no excuse (i.e. overwhelming crowd or such).
The jack in the box on Magnolia and LaPalma in Anaheim Ca., has absolutly pushed me to the limits of my patience. The first time that I went there, I ordered my food, it was correct on the little screen at the menu. I got home to find out that my order was completly inacurrate. The food that was recieved was so horrible that we were unable to eat it. We attempted many times to contact the restaurant to rectify the situation with no avail. Just this evening my husband and I were running errands and decided to stop at the same location. Once again hoping that last time they were just having a bad night. Once again we ordered and after fighting with the woman on the other end who didnt speak a WORD of english nor did she understand the simple things that we were asking for...everything was correct on the little screen. We recieved our food and realized when we got home that once again we recieved the wrong order. It was truely inedible. It smelled burnt and completely rotten. My husband I and tried for quite a while to contact the restaurant, if you can call it that. we finally reached someone who was reluctant to give us any information as to who the manager was and explained to us that there was no supervisor in the restaurant until tomorrow. She then hung up on my husband as he was trying to ask her for a number to talk to someone about the service we have received now twice. The phone line has now been tied up for over an hour. We walked into the restaurant and the phone has been left off the hook.

9/12/07 Stopped at the so.Everett #8307 JIB for a supreme breakfast sandwich. A gal who had been cooking with gloves on, came to the register and waited on customers, handling money with gloves on, then turned and continued handling and serving food with the same gloves. Will not go there again if this is their normal practice.
I ordered 2 tacos and a 3 piece jalapeño in drive thru.
One of the 2 tacos was soaked in old (rancid) oil and over cooked to be dark brown in color. Tossed after 1 bite.

My kids love their food, so i tend to go there when we are in a rush. It seem like 9 out of 10 times, they ask us to pull to the front and they will bring our food out to us. What is the point of going through the drive thru for fast food if we are still going to have to wait for it. I have heard that they have a time frame to get the food out, but why should we have to pull to the front even when there is no other customer behind us. Errrrr...

I went into a Jack in the box drive thru one morning last week, the kid tryed to short me my change, when i asked for it, he told me not to get a F_____ing tude, the manager really did not care about it at all, so I guess its ok to try and steel from customers, by the way this was the second time this happened. The food was piss poor, and not really warm. We will not be going back, and I am letting everyone I know about this, I am even thinking about calling the local paper about this poor service.
the employees have become reliant and disconnected from their customer service responsibilities because of the installation of the electronic kioske. I will no longer support a jack in the box with a job robbing machine. I refuse to wait 5 min to get a cup because it was ordered from a computer and not a human.
Apparently Jack's bubble head contains nothing but air which is passed down to his managers! A counterfeit credit card in my name was used to purchase approximately 40.00 worth of food at a Jack in the Box in Bakersfield, CA. When I called "guest services" I was told that Jack's policy is NOT to ask for identification when purchases of any amount are made. The "Senior agent" I talked to was totally rude, asked "...just what do you think Jack in the Box is going to do for you?" I felt like I was the criminal! I was basically told I was SOL until my bank reversed the charge - I was told Jack's policy was to not contest bank reversals because they (JIB) didn't ask for ID. she wouldn't supply me with the store location or phone number. When I explained about filing a police report she told me she would give me a report number to give to the police department. So because of Jack in the Box policy and a crook with an affinity for junk food...my bank and I are stuck with the footwork of trying to get back my money.
I work at jack in the box #514 and ever since the new management took over this place has really go to s**t. First I want to complain about the new manager she has 3 months on the job and so far I have not see improvement she can't make the work schedule for employees she sometimes schedule one person to come in is that one person suppose to run counter, drive thru friers and grill all at once while she sits in her office doing nothing. Then the training manager is no better he suppose to be teaching her how to do thing but it seems like all they do is plot against the workers they don't like. And lastly I want to say is that they lock them self in the office from 30 to 1 hour doing who knows what and then they have the same days off and sometimes leave at the same time.
This was the third time we went for food. Again, the customer service was horrible, long wait. Finally, we decided to go drive-thru with our receipts to claim our food. Not only are they always short staffed, the professionalism is lacking. Employees can't seem to communicate in English, and if they do, they call us "Yeah, man", or throw hands up "C'mon man!" The other issue we noticed there's always problem with their building. One time we noticed the ceiling insulation fell in the dining room. This time, the dining room is flooded. If the store is badly managed, God knows how clean the kitchen is. We'll never go back again.
Jack in the Box JUST opened here and I couldn't be more excited...when I went in to order my food I noticed the assembly like with 4 people preparing food...what bothered me was all 4 people were not wearing gloves, one touch the meat, one the bun and the other the lettuce and tom and then at the end the person grabs the burger and wraps it...4 different people touch my food with there bare hands. When I spoke to the owner she agreed and ask if I would talk to her area manager in which I did. His response to not wearing gloves is that it it slows things down. I told him that I thought it was dirty while I witnessed one lady wiping her hands on her pants and preceeding to wrap food...he told me he makes sure they wash there hands. How can you make sure ALL your employees wash there hands when I clearly seen her wiping her hands and touching people's food? I am calling the health department and reporting them. I would rather wait an extra minute to get my food then 4 different people touching my food.
We were going to go thru the drive thru. In the car was myself, my wife, and my 4 year old grandson. He had to go potty, so I pulled over before we went into drive thru lane. My wife took him in. He has been trainging to not pee his pants, but has to go immediately when he says so. He feels bad, as other kids his age are trained. My wife asked for the key. The counter person said you will have to wait. My wife waited a minute or so, and asked again, She got, cant you see I am busy. WAIT!. my wife said the little boy needs to go to the bathroom quickly. She just looked at my wife and put some whip cream on some drink. By then it was over 3 minutes. My grandson had peed in his pants. He cried because he did it. We had no cloths to change into as he was going to a party. We had to stop at fred meyer and buy new clothes. I have not been this upset at Jack since the day you blew him up. I was going to go in and really tell this rude clerk off. What away to treat customers who have frequented your restaurants FOODMAKER for years. I will not go back again.
I went to the Jack in the box and ordered a #7 combo that is a sourdough steak sandwich with curly fries and drink. I paid for my order in full and started to drive off, I proceded to put my hand in the bag while driving and eat a few fries, when I got home to my amazment the order I received was a Fried Chicken Sandwich. So disapointed I returned to the jack in the box were i purchased it from and walked into the store. I showed the drive thoough lady my order and told her I ordered a #7 and she replyed " Oh ok" then she snatched the bag out of my hand and yelded at the cook. after waiting 5 mins for my order to come back she puts it into a new bag and does not include the fries. I ask her may I get some more fries please. Her response was " You ate them allready - NO" I politely say " I had to eat something driving back and forth from home, because you messed up my order" The manager was standing behind her over hearing this entire conversation, and he did not even help me or say one word. I told the lady to keep that sandwich and left the store very upset.
