We gave notice on 6/29/26, registered USPS Letter, received in the office at Sandy Springs, GA on 7/1/26, due to family hardship. We paid June rent with termination date of 7/31/26, requested in writing a "Final Inspection". We cleaned the home completely and in better shape than when we moved in. I've sent a total of 17 emails starting July 20th thru Sept 11th with little to NO Responses from the office. We got multiple voice mails stating we were late, when we tried to call the number left on the voice mail it was incorrect so we couldn't even leave a voices message. We then tried to call a different number and was disconnected multiple times. Then on 9/8 an email was sent to second email address NOT mine, with a final payment statement due for over 4K, ridiculous after they took our security deposit. We have been in that rental almost 2yrs and have had nothing but issues with Invitation homes. Jun-July 2025 our AC unit went out, it took 10 days to get portable units that only covered two rooms, it took a full month to complete repairs, and we received a 300+ credit? Seriously they need new management and better communication with tenants and customers. I have documented all the emails, sent pictures of unit on move out date but they have not? Explain this to me.
Very Disappointing to be dealing with Invitation Homes, NEVER AGAIN !
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a review on lack of communications and charges largely dismissed. I sent a letter and check for what we considered fair, your assessment and final inspection was totally unfair, and we were never notified.
