They add this charge to the rent. As a resident we are supposed to have a team in our city assigned to us for assistance. THAT IS A JOKE! I sent a message to this so-called team, which by the way, seems to be a secret until you complain to corporate about your issues. Anyway, a person from the team told me to open a maintenance ticket for a filter. I never had to do that before because they were automatically mailed to me. I opened the ticket which was closed and I was told that according to my lease agreement, IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY. Yet they add this charge to my rent. You would think that a company that was sued for overcharging residents would get their act together!+
