Hungry Jack's Australia Toilets

15 Jan 2023 I went to the toilet at the hungry jacks across the road from Flemington racecourse. Well, it was disgusting. Dust doors poo on walls . Even the entrance door to the toilets is disgusting. Went to complain, and having a look at the ceiling is very dusty. Floor/window ledges are full of grim and dusty. Health and safety reps should give this place an audit. I wonder what the kitchen looks like.

That same day, we went to eat in at the hungry jacks at Highpoint . Ceilings dusty full of insects . Toilets need a clean . Walls and windows need proper cleaning.

Desired outcome: Clean more frequently and get a new cleaning contractor

Hungry Jack's Australia Coffee and customer service

Bad coffee (extremely weak), bad service upon returning to the store to complain about the coffee (to an employee/Manager (?) named Luke, who initially refusal to give me either a refund or a replacement (I returned to the store within an hour as I had an appointment. I provided the receipt for mt coffee and he begrudgingly gave me a refund. I then complained online. UPDATE... I have just had a phone call from "Luke" whose telephone manner was very disrespectful and bullying. His phone manner was very aggressive and impolite. He offered me a free coffee which I declined, as I now have a low opinion of the Plainlandl, Qld Store.

Desired outcome: I would like a written apology from Luke, and perhaps a voucher in recompense for the inconvenience of having to return to the store and the poor customer relations exhibited by your employee, and that he be re-trained in Customer Service

Hungry Jack's Australia Pascoe Vale, Bell Street Store

My 14yo son purchased delivery yesterday with his pocket money via the Hungry Jack's mobile application for $27.50. The food never arrived. My son and I later attended the store and spoke to 'Ashanti' (Team Coach) who, after speaking to the Shift Supervisor, provided a note (attached) with her employee number, name and stated that we could return with this note and claim up to $30 of food in the next few days.

Today we returned and were eventually attended to by "Heena" who stated she was the store manager.

Upon explaining the situation and producing the note, she stated that Ashanti had no authority to provide the note and that she was therefore not going to honour it.

She stated that our food not being delivered was not her issue. That any issue that I have has to be taken up with the delivery company (who I don't even know who that is).

She refused to listen to my position that our contract/agreement was with HJ, not with some sub-contracted delivery service.

When I stated that I wanted to make a complaint, she scribbled on a bit of paper and threw it across the counter to me.

She was really rude and demanded that I leave the store. I am outraged that an employee of the store would offer us compensation and made us travel to the store again today only for the so-called manager to renege on the promise to make good that was made by a staff member at the store.

The actions of an agent binds the principal, that is a well-known concept within the law. Moreover, that I was spoken to in such a rude manner by a so called "Manager" that has no interpersonal or conflict management skills.

Hungry Jack's Australia Icecream

My family of 6 live in Smithfield NSW. We have lodged a complaint online before (filled out a form).

The last 6 visits, the icecream is "not working".

All visits have been over different times and days.

The last visit was the last time we will ever go to Hungary Jacks. Mc Donalds has 6 new customers.

We always have to wait in a long queue due to the chicken drive through, even though there is no-one at Hungary Jacks, the entrance is always blocked by the chicken shop EL JANO customers. We parked the car tonight and decided to walk in as it would be quicker but once again. "the ice-cream machine isn't working". The first complaint we were given a free chips voucher and when we got that they were floppy and luke warm.

Either the boss doesn't care or he has some bad workers or he might be too stingy to get a machine that works. I took a patient of mine in there recently as they requested it for lunch and it wasn't even clean. The floor was sticky and there was rubbish on the floor but there was only one other customer

Hungry Jack's Australia Coffee

I can taste the tremendous effort you have put in to giving me a good coffee, thank you, my small flat white at drive through was nice, clean and just right.

But I nearly said to the cashier, how's your coffee, are you getting, good comments, make sure your best is making mine, but I chose to just pay my $3.95 and observe I did.

Yeah so kids enjoying themselves at work, good to see but I would of liked more attention to see that my coffee had been measured and extracted perfectly, which you can't do whilst giving special hand shakes, then at the vital milk pouring time, jokingly the honors are given to young dude who holds back anything in the jug with a pallet knife sort of spilling some milk in and then topping her up with this callus hold back thing.

He also then gave it to me.

I went around to the end of drive through, took a look at it and could see it looked like a thin brown petrol station coffee for tired people in a trailer park.

Not as advertised but they took my $3.95!

I was fuming because if they had just tried, you could have an outstanding coffee that you'd want to get twice a day.

However it tasted pleasant, was/is clean, perfect temperature and was enjoyable to drink.

But I can't rely on it due to the lack of attention/care given to making it, so I'd only drive through once in a while, better than yearly but not better than weekly or more.

Thanks for a nice coffee anyway and fine service.

I am wondering why hungry jacks in port Kennedy wa don’t serve decaf instead coffee .u have a big barista there yet u cannot buy decaffeinated coffee

It’s the only place I e found where u cannot

Can some9ne rectify that in the future

Also port Kennedy toilets are unkept .deisgusting not cleaned at all my husband went to the males and he said the same

Is it possible they could keep the hygiene of the toilets in better shape

I brought some food ..but only took one bite the hash brown had the smell of very old oil ..it could not be eaten at all

I’m hop8ng someone can sort these small issues out as I don’t want to go there again

But what if every person decided the same due to how unkept the place is

Desired outcome: Hopefully some9ne can have them sort the hygiene out in bathrooms and also change the oils they use more regularly

Hungry Jack's Australia Burger ordered at HJ Gepps cross

I ordered one Vegetarian Burger at Hungry Jacks Gepps cross on 25 December, 2022 around 8:40 pm. I see from the counter who packed my bruger i seen from outside that person name Mithal who packed without gloves and touches the burger used no precautions.

I think its not good for heath. For References u can check cctv that guy not using gloves while making burger. I hopw you will take care of your customer and take some appropriate action. Right now covid is going on and i think it also effect on extremely health. I'm scared.

I look forward for you action.

Hungry Jack's Australia Popping burger meal

Where do I start firstly every time my family get anything from the Mango Hill 4509 store the burgers are stone motherless cold. Next we saw the deal on tv tonight with both my wife and I working a bit later we decided to give you another go but sadly we regretted it as soon as we got home to find little to no lettuce on the chicken burgers and in your add the amount of poppers compared to what we got dismal the amount of chips would even fill a small chips container this is the last time we will be giving your stores a go I have photos if you would like to see them let me know thanks for the terrible food again.

Desired outcome: Fix the problems at this store as it is the worst customer service I have ever had.Money back

Hungry Jack's Australia Rip off!

When ordering the big family bundle tonight (we have 5 boys and spent almost $100 for my sons birthday dinner inclusive of all meals) we were told the chips that came with the bundle which included 6 burgers, was a family size chips.

When we received our order the so called “family sized” chips, we’re no bigger than a regular size chips, just in a different shaped box.

Can someone please explain to me, why on earth you would not supply an adequate amount of chips that is equivalent to the amount of burgers?

Now knowing this for future, we not only have to spend $70 on the family box, but we have to buy extra chips as well?! What [censored]!

Keep your customers happy and be logical with the burger to chips ratio!

We have 5 very disappointed children who got about 5 chips each because of this.

So disappointed and dissatisfied!

McDonald’s from now on✌🏻

Desired outcome: I would like a refund as this was false advertising and we are very dissatisfied!

Hungry Jack's Australia Management and workplace bullying

My daughter works at Hungry Jacks in Melton,

She is constantly berated by her managers and made to do everything whilst the other crew members are just standing around laughing and chatting. This is workplace bullying I have addressed this with the general manager and the restaurant manager but nothing has been done. My daughter dreads going to work when she knows that this particular manager is on shift. Example 09/12/2022 my daughter was asked to mop the floors she did this no problem, she was then mocked by the manager saying “you call this mopping” my daughter was fed up by this point as she had been made to do absolutely everything leading up to this.

So she told the manager to chill out. The manager took offence to this and then accused my child of being on her phone this was only an accusation and she had no concrete proof that she was on her phone but didn’t hesitate to dob my daughter into the restaurant manager when she had done nothing wrong. The manager then starts with another false accusation stating that my daughter had called her a [censored] and that she had a witness to this, my daughter doesn’t even talk to anyone at this workplace so not sure where this came from. I have told the manager who is at least in her 30’s-40’s that regardless of this my daughter is only 16 years old and is still a minor and this manager is an adult and should not be treating children this way. The general manager and the restaurant manager are both aware that I am making a formal complaint. I want this workplace investigated as management is poor and let things slide. My daughter is highly anxious to go to work anymore. My daughter has the right to go to work without being bullied by adults.

Your manager was disgraceful and lacked the manners to be in that position. She's a slacker who stood around doing nothing and took forever to give me my order. I recall seeing her previously bully an employee by [censored]ing about her (in Filipino?) and PURPOSELY shoving her around. Given that it is summer vacation, I haven't seen that employee in a few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if that employee resigned or was "MAGICALLY" fired. Teach Anjila some manners and check in with that employee to see how they're doing. I'd imagine that other crew members of that employee's age (probably around 16) would have been made aware of Anjila's bullying and abuse of power. Overall, it was a fairly enjoyable experience, but Anjila had to ruin it and the food is what you'd expect from a fast food restaurant. From an assistant manager, this is quite disappointing. To be honest, I’m surprised Anjila wasn't suspended or otherwise penalised.

TL;DR Everything you'd expect from a mediocre fast food restaurant. I witnessed bullying from the assistant manager, Anjila, and haven't seen the bullied employee since, which is unusual given that it's summer vacation. I wouldn't be surprised if she was 'fired' or left because of the bullying and her bosses did nothing. Don’t work here.

Hungry Jack's Australia $34.95 FAMILY MEAL

My friend and I purchased the meal deal tonight around 5.30..we got home looking forward to eating our meal..I looked at the chicken burger and all it had was a bit of Mayo the size of a 5 cent piece..it was soo dry it couldn't be eaten..it was the same for the other one..the chips were cold...we also waited 10 minutes in the waiting bay...not happy at all

Hungry Jack's Australia Grilled chicken burger

On 23/11/2022, I went to Parkmore hungry Jack in Keysborough around 6.30pm and ordered Grilled chicken burger(drive thru). Noticed no chicken in my burger after I go back home. I was hangry as I bought it for my dinner after a long shift. Tried to call the customer service but nobody answered the call. This is really disappointing and wish to get a refund.

Hungry Jack's Australia Chicken royale burger, fries, entire meal.

On Wednesday November 16th we ordered Hungry Jacks for the family from our menulog app. Although the food was delivered on time there are serious health concerns with the quality and safety of the food we received. As this is not a first time for us ordering below standard food from Hungry Jacks or having below average delivery service. We are very disheartened at the results from our recent purchase. Spending more than $80 for the family's fortnightly treat, what was delivered to us was cold, not fresh burgers squashed, an item missing (onion rings) and replaced with 7 small chicken poppa things, the worst part was the half cold box of large chips equivalent to a small chips worth and the brown slimy lettuce in the burgers. The entire meal was bagged back up after the first bite and thrown in the rubbish bin leaving us with no other options at hand for dinner for our family. I am asking for a refund from Hungry Jacks in the full amount we spent minus delivery fee from menulog. Below are pictures of what should not have been delivered to my family as this without a doubt poses a very serious health risk to the public. Food health and safety issue defenatly.

Hungry Jack's Australia Bags keep ripping apart

18/11/22 approximately 11:30am - 11:45am. Yeppoon store 4703.

The takeaway bags keep ripping and its becoming quite frustrating. My partner and I usually get whoppers/double whoppers which come in the large boxes. The take away bag sizes are disproportionate in size to accomodate 2 meals and as of late are ripping. We are normally more aware and hold the bag from the bottom however today when the bag was grabbed from the top to get out of the car the whole bag ripped down 1 side and we lost all but 1 burger. Bag sizes for 2+ meals ordered need to be reviewed as they really are not fit for purpose. I returned to the store and respectfully raised the issue with the on duty manager who came across quite unprofessional. When asked how to lodge a complaint formerly the response was consistently 'I dont know, we just see them come through in email'. I then insisted to raise the issue locally as well because it is a regular occurance to which the response was 'oh yea I think they changed the bags once a couple years ago but I dont know what they'll do about this.' Regardless could you please review your bag sizes and contemplate issuing a larger bag for the multi meal orders because it is extremely inappropriate that I have to pay twice for a meal when the bag rips apart.

Desired outcome: A compensation of our meal would be nice but at the very least please review your bagging procedure for multi meal orders of the larger burgers.

Hungry Jack's Australia Breakfast meal with coffee

Ordered the muffin and coffee breakfast and took home. Opened up the muffin and found green on the bottom of the egg. The egg was a very weird shape and we didn't end up eating it as it could have made us sick. The whole thing looked old and weathered!

We have had poor experiences before and posted to the feedback channel with the Hungry Jacks website and had no response. Hoping here will be better as I hate wasting food like that.

Hungry Jack's Australia About my order

Went to north Hobart hungry Jack’s. I asked for grilled Angus beef bacon and cheese small and a Jacks fried cheese and bacon small. I then was asked if I want the one with all the bacon in it. I said no. I told them 3 times what I ordered. Then they asked if I wanted spicy. I said no. Getting confused by this stage. At the drive thru window I was asked by three different people if I wanted the jacks fried cheese and bacon. Yes. When I got back to work I had a classic. Which was not what I ordered after tell them 5 times

Hungry Jack's Australia Service provide by personnel in store

Went to Hungry Jacks Albury Store on 27/10/2022 at 8:40 am to get breakfast food. The order was totally wrong when received, this was due to personnel fooling around and not listening to customer orders. In this store it appears customers dont matter, not a great business model. Personally after the service received I would not visit this store again. Would prefer to go to the McDonalds Store across the road. My partner andmyself were the only customers in store at the time and still had to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to receive our order which was incorrect as well.

Hungry Jack's Australia My recent order

I placed an order in my app and select the option to pickup from the drive through at around 11:20pm on 22/10/22 at Mernda 3754 Victoria store. I ordered two vegan Woopher cheese burgers (changed to veggi). It shows in the app with 2 Pattie’s but they gave me with just one pattie it’s just wastage of money and it’s happened 3rd time with me at this store sometime they give proper order but sometime don’t . I love hungary jacks that’s why I go there. But they are not caring of food what’s in the order and what’s they are sending. I am very unhappy with the service and it’s just wastage of money I think if they show something else and give something else in the order and charging for whole things what’s ever in the order.

Hungry Jack's Australia Humiliated by rude staff

Hi it happened around 06:20pm on 15/10/2022.

I’m a delivery driver. I arrived at the restaurant at 06:10pm. I waited to pick up my order in front of the counter. But the staffs just ignored me for 10 minutes. So I asked the African staff about my order at 06:20pm. I don’t know why she was very furious and told me to leave. I told her I was not gonna leave as I didn’t do anything wrong. But she laughed at me and said it’s up to me. I waited until 06:40pm but they just skipped my order. Even though I felt very depressed and helpless I had to leave without getting my order for waiting for more than 30 minutes.
