HP - hewlett-packard desktop pavilion 500-c60

I bought this computer over a year an half ago, as soon as it turned one year old, have had nothing but problems with it, plus talking to your tech supports. I had to have a new a hard drive and recovery disk sent to me and I had the Geek squad put it in. It worked fine for about a month, then I got the same problem again, saying that No boot disk detected or hard disk failed. I did call support, they just transferred me to 3 different agents, almost the 4th one, but I said no and hung up. I ran the diagnostic tests that they suggested before, the first one passed, so the computer worked fine for a week, then I got the message again of No boot disk detected or hard disk failed. I am absolutely disgusted with this computer, your company and your support. Most the time you can not understand the agents, because you hire foreigners, even for the United States customers. I bought the HP computer, because I had one for over 8 years and never gave me any problems, so I decided to buy another because Windows XP was not going to be supported any more. I would never recommend this company for computers again.I don't know what kind of product you make or the hard drives you put in the computer, but its not quality like it use to be.

HP - hp smartfriend service

I was having problem with my hp spectre x2. I had connected it to an external monitor (Asus pb278q) using hdmi. It used to work fine but starting from about two months ago, the display started acting strangely, i. E. Flickering, showing only partial screen or distorted pictures, and going completely blank after a short while. I checked the monitor with my macbook pro using hdmi as well, the monitor worked fine. The display of the hp spectre x2 also worked fine. I figured it was due to the graphics card going bad. At the same time I was also having bluetooth problem, my microsoft surface mouse and inateck bk1003e keyboard could not maintain stable connections. Since I bought an hp care pack for additional 2 years of warranty, I felt at ease and called hp tech support on august 31, 2015.

My ordeal started right there. I wasted hours and got transferred 6 times (!) and went through tech support, customer service, sales, and back to tech support. I had to describe my problem almost every time. Finally they claimed it to be software problem, not hardware problem, therefore care pack won't help me. I got roped into signing up for its hp smartfriend (Subscription) service for a year at $200 and got put on hold again. By now it was dinner time, I decided not to wait anymore and hanged up.

On september 7, I called back with the case number (3019630558) waited another 20 minutes before talking to a live person. Unbelievable, I had to describe my problem yet again! I don't know what the heck the case number is for! The tech rep just asked me to check this and check that, including checking the mouse and keyboard to make sure they have battery power and they could work (Ironically) with my mac! Then, finally advised that I need to erase my drive and reinstall the operating system!

The problem is: if reinstalling guarantees it will work, I probably weren't against it so much, but I have no guarantee and I do not have the time to just test it out for the heck of it! The service and the advice offered are useless, from my point of view. I would rather just take the computer to some local shop and have it looked at.

Since I had determined that the hp smartfriend is neither smart nor a friend, I decided to cancel the service and have my $200 refunded. The service rep reached me today (September 17) and told me, since I have already used the service, I owed them $100 (Regardless whether it was useful service or not) and they would only refund $100!

My advice: think thrice before you sign up for this service!

The resolution I seek? Get the thing working again or replace it with a working one (Either with my current hard drive installed or its content replicated). If the company sends me a new, working spectre x2, I can get the hard disk content replicated myself and then send the non-working one back to hp!

HP - hp customer service

Mon 3 - first time i call and place the order, she tells me it'll be at my door in 3-5 days

Fri 7 - second time someone tells me there is a shipping delay with PUROLATOR - assured me it would ship by mon/tues - and that shes contacting them and said she will call me back within 24 hours
never called back

Tues 11 - live chatted with someone who stopped responding to me - so i call in and was told that the laptop that i ordered that was READY TO SHIP was being BUILT and that was why it hadnt shipped yet. he said to wait for wednesday/thursday and that it should ship by then
no shipping

Wed 12 - i go online to check my order status to see if its shipped, and it said no order found
so i call in, the girl tells me that HP is in the middle of splitting into two separate companies and that was why there was a shipping delay ON THEIR END she said she would contact back office as to why the order looked like it was cancelled but there was no cancellation request (this was at midnight when they were closing phones)
ive heard nothing back so far

thurs 13 - call in, ask for supervisor and was told that there was no supervisor, so the woman told me she was head for Canada (right, like she'd be answering phones like the others below her) was told that shipping was closed for five days, she ignored what i told her that happened yesterday - that there was no order found but no cancellation request, told me she would email shipping to expedite the order she promised that she would call me TODAY to tell me what they said - then she told me to call their complaints line, because complaints are important and help them fix problems, gave me the number, and then HUNG UP
called complaints - no such number is in existence
She called me back. Someone cancelled my order without permission or a request. She told me they might not have any more of those laptops in. I never got an email confirming a cancellation. The charge is still on the credit card. I asked for a cancellation email and was told I would get one shortly (still haven't received it) and she hung up.

HP - delivery delay

Its with great pain I am writing this email to update you on my recent HP Online shopping experience.
I have ordered an Laptop under order no xxx on 7th May (Thursday) just around lunch time (SG Local time), through telephone with HP staff.

It was confirmed by the staff that I might not get the delivery same day but the next day which is 8th May to my home delivery address. I only got the email with the order details and there was no further email confirming delivery and other progress...

I have called 2 times HP customer number (1800 2780182) once at 12:00 noon & another at 5:29 pm SG local time, ..Both time the customer support/Order team confirmed that the delivery will take place on 8th May...

I have been waiting for the delivery the whole day at home however it turned out to be No Delivery from HP (now the time is 8:02 PM SG time).

I am totally dissatisfied with the Quality of Service and Fulfillment from such a big company like HP... I dont expect such a bad customer experience with HP...

The wait time for smartfriend assistance is just awful. I can't do or hear anything becasue of this annoying music. Can't you add the service that you will call us back when a technician is available. This is a waste of my time and i am extremely annoyed. Also, you website is so difficiult to navigate to find this place to complain. I am so disappointed and frustrated.

HP - ink replacement cartridges

I am a homeowner, I have a desktop computer that I use frequently and also a printer that I use frequently! I purchased a HP printer and when it was time to replace the ink cartridges in an attempt to save a few bucks purchased them from LD ink co, a reputable supplier of replacement cartridges the printer won't accept them(only accepts genuine HP cartridges, available at a ridiculously high price of course)so being stuck at the time, I purchased 1 black cartridge, and when it runs out I am throwing this piece of junk in the rubbish and finding a printer that will accept generic cartridges! I will never purchase another HP product and will do my best to discourage anyone I know from buying anything HP. I realize you could care less but I hope more people will see the light and dump your products!

HP sold me a CD containing driver software they knew to be obsolete and usles and now refuse to refund my money because "the policy is 21 days."

Order a laptop for free shipping. And then return it for a full refund. Let them pay for the shipping. They lightened your wallet, now you do theirs. Ask your friends to do that as well.

HP - wifi is not working properly

On february 22 2015 I had send my hp laptop under souq warranty to repair it through speedex courier service. The complaint was its wifi adapter is not working properly. On march 04 2015 I got the item back with informing me that it is repaired. Now the thing is same problem is existing now. warranty team didn't contact me for checking the complaint . Without doing anything they send the item back. Its a total wastage of time for me.

sell us a hp laptop for $500 and haven use untill 2 month keep having problem cant turn on and go back more than 6 times to ask for repair but not a will 1 week plus cant on again.

I was on a web sit to win a free laptop, I had goteen to a part that i had to buy something so i just left the website i didnt want to have to buy stuff. Well 2 weeks after I got a call from the same web site tellin me that if i sing up for something I would have my laptop so i did and I still have no laptop.

I was told that I would get TV tuner card in first week of aug, 07. No communication also. Phone no given gives recorded message. I think Rs. 500 have also gone waste, what to talk about free TV tuner card. I feel ditched. Don't buy HP products.

HP sell us a laptop for $500 and haven use 10 TIMES and so noisy and danger for kids .My son have HP LAPTOP Model G61.300CA .So noisy and so scare burn .

HP - hp won't replace defective printer

We purchased a new HP T790 Designjet printer seven months ago. It has been a nightmare. We have had constant problems with it, and it has really been an interruption in our business. They expect me to spend hours on the phone with them while they tell me to "try this" and "check that." Don't they know I have real work to do? And they have sent technicians out and the technicians have told HP to replace it. But the staff in Bangalore, India keep stalling. We have had four different case numbers with HP tech support, and it has been a continual hardship for seven months now. I have asked for a new printer or a refund (it is in warranty), but I keep getting stalled and stonewalled by Indian tech support stating, "We are trying to decide what the next action is." And it is still not resolved. Based on our experiences here, our business can not recommend HP Designjet T790 or T795 printers.

HP - hp notebook 15

After microsoft destroyed WindowsXP i had 2 unusable computers, i e 2 computers destroyed by microsoft. So I had to buy a new computer. Instead I landed up with hp Notebook 15. I bought that machine in May 2014. hp has put something in it called windows8 which judging by the malfunctioning it is guilty of must be a some serious type of virus. From May till August that machine demanded daily support. Nothing in it functioned. In August hp told me I needed to adjust the sensitivity, speed and special functions in the machine which caused the malfunctioning and which the thing called windows8 refused to reveal the whereabouts of just as it provided no information on any of what it caused the machine to do. Yesterday evening about or before 6 p.m. I opened a packet containing an unused dvd with a film on it called Australia and inserted it in the machine. Immediately it was grabbed by the dvd-dictator hp has put into the machine. The thing has the very misleading name of Power DVD 12 and is the pride and joy of a company called cyberlink. It kept stopping the film. I had to wait one and a half hours for the thing to resume playing from chapter 15 to chapter 16 and 29 hours after the dvd-dictator grabbed the dvd the thing still has not resumed playing chapter 17. Yesterday that thing made it necessary for me to do my best to fathom out how to contact hp support as there is none in Sweden. Finally I got it through Facebook. After 4 hours of contacting hp support I had to refresh their machine since it was impossible to use. I had followed all the instructions in the webpages referred to and did the downloads i had to and changed the settings to try and prevent the dvd-dictator from grabbing the dvds. No option is provided by their machine when a dvd is inserted even though I speculated in the settings that an option be given. The only change that occurred was that I could neither listen to any cd nor watch any dvd. After doing the refreshing hp suggested i was told to let hp know the results. That was at 1 a, m. Today when I try to access and reply to that comment I am told the comment cannot be accessed. It is now 10, 20 p.m. Can anyone tell me if Linux Ubuntu works with hp Notebook 15? Refreshing their machine removed my Office 2007 so now I cannot continue the census transcription i need to finish. So i wonder if installing a computer system would get the machine to function like a proper computer. i have had more than I can stomach of the thing called windows8. Never before have i been exposed to the like of this machine hp Notebook 15. Never again will I even give any product hp is responsible for the slightest attention when i am out to buy something. On the contrary if no other product is available than the one hp is responsible for I shall definitely not buy. Oh yes and hp does not allow you to send them screenprints proving how their machine malfunctions. Someone called Redstone Miner in Borkefer says he can understand why people hate Dell but not why anyone would hate hate hp. I hope he gets to read what I have related because what I feel about this machine can only be expressed with expletives and i do not like to swear. I forget to mention that I am unable to register hp Notebook 15 as provision of neither the information I was told I had to find in the machine nor the information on the box the machine came in results in recognition and hp demands that information. Consequently no chat is permitted, no email is revealed so no support is available where I bought their machine and the link sent as a solution for learning their machine better cannot be accessed. hp uses no-reply email addresses further complicating contact.Consequently hp is to be congratulated on the responsibility for the addition of yet another subscriber to the I Hate hp Facebook page. hp has truly deserved it.

HP - poor manufacturing

Awful purchase. Borderless printing is non existent, was very noisy, it struggled to pick up paper from the in tray if the pile was below 1cm & after 18 months of use (low use i might add) it stopped being able to pick up paper full stop.
After spending over £100 on this item I'm left out of pocket after a year and a half...6 months out of warranty & no offer of any help from HP past suggesting i buy another of there printers with a 15% discount.
Disgusting customer service & bad manufacturing...HP are no longer the company they use to be!

This scanner does not scan worth a DARN it prints even worst at this point it does not even work. Every experience I have had with this piece of equipment has been bad. Based on the experiences I have had I will never purchase any future equipment from your company.

HP - selling defective products

I purchased a HP Deskjet 1010 series Printer from Walmart March 2014. These printers obviously have a factory defect and though I cannot prove hard evidence that Walmart is aware of these defective printers, I believe that Walmart knows and don't care. As long as they are generating profit that is the bottom line. I will inform my state's consumer protection agency about the practice of selling defective products and ask what can they do to help. I am no longer a customer at Walmart. Walmart has ridiculous prices on off brand products they are ripping people off like they have done me. I will easily take my business some where else.

HP - warranty

On March 11, 2014 I bought an HP Pavilion x2 tablet from HH Gregg but when I plugged the unit in I saw that the warranty had expired. So I did not pay it any mind because I bought a warranty service plan as well. On May 16, 2014 I called the service company about fixing the product and the informed me that my extended service plan was no good because they sold me a computer without an original warranty. i called the store where I bought the product and talked to the supervisor and was letting him know of the problem so after going back and forth for 30 minutes because Every time he feed me a lie about how they don't sell items without a factory warranty, I will prove him wrong with documentation from HP. The supervisor got frustrated and told me to F**** myself and hung up the phone. As little do he know this is not over because I will be going to the store in the morning and talking to the GM, I hope that get me some where, if not I will be calling the BBB.

Bottom line do not shop at HH Gregg...

I bought hp monitor from lulu center here in muscat. It went bed within 3 to 4 months with hazy lines coming on the monitor and faded colors. I submitted to hp service center. I want to tell u a new thing for your best knowledge in future that HP/CROMA TEAM was a fake company who sold 3rd class repaired products and manupulate the public.
I made a very big mistake in future that I purchased a new h
HP laptop cost 35k. From the purchase date 30/03/13 I was in trouble. sumtyms laptop speakers get defected sumtyms there was a window problem, touch pad is not working and many more...they send their engineer for repairing and the gud thing is he don't knw dat how to work on windows8.
Atleast 5times I get my laptop repaired by them but still the result is zero.
I request to all my friends that in future don't purchase products from HP/CROMA TEAM.
And also inform to others like relatives, friends, etc for better support

It is needful to mention here that the company engineers came to attend the above mentioned complaints but they could not repair the laptop properly and I am suffering a huge loss on that account. You hereby requested to kindly change the laptop within 15 days otherwise I will be compelled to initiate a legal action against your company.

This is to inform you that I purchased a H.P Laptop in the month of March, 2013, case id-[protected] and faced several problems in the laptop while working on it. I have already contacted your engineer Mr. Nitin Verma -[protected] who visited my place for the repair of the laptop but could not repair it and i started facing many more problems with my laptop.
Kindly let me know what exactly the issue is as it has been couple of days and I am not getting a proper after sales service for the same and in return your engineer is asking me to provide 32 GB pen drive or hard disk which I cannot provide hence I am not at fault so do provide me with the concern persons number so that I can do the needful.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

HP - poor product

Bought 3 x HP Officejet Pro 8500A (A910a) printers. These printers were bought at around R1800 each. The Training Centre need a high quality printer to print the certificates we issue to our clients.

On Monday, 7 October 2013, I suddenly started experiencing a problem with one of the 8500A printers (CN171CM581) I personally use. I kept on getting a message from the printer instructing me to clear a paper jam. There was no paper jam. Obviously, it was a false paper jam message. I took the printer to the local agents. They informed me that they must send the printer to HP to have a look. The other two printers were still working fine. I took another HP Officejet 8500A (CN171CM54Z) and started using it while my first HP printer was in for repairs.

On Wednesday, 9 October 2013, I receive a call from the local agents informing me that the printer was no more under guarantee. One year have expired since it was bought and the only explanation could be that the responsible person at the training centre did not do her job and register the printers on the internet as she was supposed to do!. The local agents further informed me that they receive a quotation from HP that it would cost around R2900.00 to repair the printer. I nearly blow my top!. How could it cost R1100.00 more to repair the printer than it originally cost!.

On Thursday morning, 17 October 2013, the second HP Officejet Pro 8500A (CN171CM54Z) printer I was now using, suddenly gave the exact same message and refused to work any further. That is when I personally started to make calls to find out what was going on. I went onto the net and started looking around to see if other people also have the same problem. O Boy! What a surprise, the net is full of complaints and yes I got my answer. Suddenly the remark made by the lady I spoke to during my first call to Ensure Service (HP appointed service agents - Gauteng) made a lot of sense. She said that this was a common problem with this printer but refuse to speak any further except that I must get into my car and bring the printer in for repairs. Hello, I am just 400km from Ensure Services in Lichtenburg, North West Province!

It also became clear that something must have broken. I realise that I am the only person in the office that started using the 2-side printing feature on the printer. I only started using this feature about 3 weeks ago. Obviously that must be part of the problem – this printer do have this feature but due to a factory flaw this printer can’t handle this feature and that is why the part (plastic gear) is breaking. Because nobody else in the office is using the 2-sided printing option the last printer is still going strong! I instructed them not to even try using this special feature.

My question is what now? Clearly this is a flaw of the printer or the flaw plastic gear. Why must we, the customer now be penalised for a bad product when the 2-sided printing option is clearly marked as a main feature of this printer. How are we going to solve this matter? HP cannot expect their customers to pay for the repairs of a product that was clearly flawed from day one and cannot handle a feature that is used as a selling point for this specific printer.

Never in my life an HP product again!

HP - the terrible exprience with hp technical support servis in turkey

In sep. 2011, I bought a hp pavilion dv6 3120 notebook which has i7 processor. The product didnt make me happy. It has excessively heating problems. Even if no application is open on the notebooks desktop, its main board and cpu are working on 75 degrees and above. When you open some apps like explorer, product temperatures are reaching 90 degrees. Due to high heating problem, its fan is always working noisy. Its keyboard is warming much over than normal that makes the product not confortable for using.
In scope of product guaranty of my notebook, I sent my notebook 5 times for this problem to hp technical service in turkey. At the end of each services they sent back the product which is written & ldquo;they find and solve the problem” service operation note attached. But the same problem is still going on. Unhappily, it appears like they sent back the product with doing nothing. After those insoluble process I called hp call center and explained my complain an authorized personnel again. She told me, there is notting to they can do. Do you think the answer meaningful?
