On my April 20, 2025 bill it told me to pay $2208.98 before 7/20/2025. On April 15th I sent Home Depot $2000.00, I also sent another $200.00 on April 18, 2025, another $200.00 on May 21, 2025 and every consecutive month I sent $200.00. On 7/25/2025 I'm informed I have $600.00+ added to my account for not paying off the promotional balance! When I call I'm pretty much told sorry about your bad luck but this is how we used your money and you didn't pay the promotional amount in time, but if I send in 969.36 by August 22, 2025 we will wave the $600.00+ interest. And I should have set up the account to pay the promotional balance first-this would have been nice to know-no one has ever told me about this! I called prior to this purchase and was told-when I send in extra money on payment the minimum payment due would be subtracted and the rest would go on the promotional balance. This did not happen. Shame on Home Depot for misleading the consumer! Now I'm stuck with trying to come up with almost a $1000.00 in a short time to avoid paying even more...

Desired outcome: Show my promotional balance paid in full by the due date and myself not having to come up with $969.36 to show it paid in time.
