Hi, Groupon sold me above ticket for 25th may on 25th may at 5:57 pm and the park closes at 6pm. The deal was on till midnight, even after 6pm it showed ending soon & not expired. I couldn't read it was for 25th may as it was small font but still it should not be active as it couldn't be used because the park closed when the ticket was bought. After I sent several emails complaining about this they said they were happy to refund so I requested refund and bought ticket from official website but now they saying cant refund as per t&C. It's fraud sale to me. Please help
Claimed loss: £32
Desired outcome: Refund on original payment mode i.e my credit card

Thank you D.Kohler for backing me. They not only mis-sold but gave a misleading solution to my complaint. I bought a new ticket from official website after they promised me refund if I wasn't willing to have alternate dated voucher .When I requested refund they changed their mind and refused the refund. If they came with just one solution that they can give alternate date voucher and not happy to refund I would never have bought a new ticket .Anyways after wasting total 2 hours approx. writing emails and explaining again and again and having chats with 5 different customer service executives I finally was shown mercy from one cust.exe (chat time15-20 min) and was given conditional credit of £32 (full amount) .This is to be used in 3 days i.e is by 12th june. I thank Joe.E for requesting internal team for credit on my behalf. I prayed to god if I get refund I will donate but not let groupon steal my money. I got credit and not refund still I will donate full amount as it's my choice to let go off my money as a donation not as waste of money or been ripped off :-)
After 8 emails and six different online chats ,wasting my time for 2 hours in total I was given conditional £32 credit as goodwill gesture .This credit is to be used in 3 days. At least I got my money back in some form so feeling better
They sold you a ticket for a park that was closing literally minutes after purchase — then claimed they “can’t” refund it because of the fine print? That’s not a mistake — that’s a rigged sale. Keeping the deal live past usability, while hiding behind small font and tech loopholes, is bait-and-switch territory. You’re not wrong — this is a scam in plain sight, and they’re hoping you’ll just swallow it. Keep pushing.
