Food Lion Baby back ribs

9-9-21 Danville SuperStore #1465 Call in order delivered by Johnathan at 4 pm.

Didn't get half my groceries. Ordered 4 baby back ribs, had to be packed at factory this way. One was broke and separated, two only had half of the baby back ribs, and the fourth wasn't sealed. I do have pictures. Tried to call store, phone stayed busy. I’m on oxygen, and on a walker, I don't get out and can't drive. Very upset about what was brought to me. Tried to take a good picture and the backs to show they weren't opened.

Food Lion Deliberately took out my husband's card amount twice

We went to the money order counter and a lady named tasia immediately copped an attitude. My husband and I split the bills on two separate cards. I have woodforest and he has chase. She took out the $800+ on his card only. She pretended to refund his card and then told me to enter card again. Another $800+ was taken out. My husband got a bad feeling as I did. He called chase and he only had $200 left! I end up paying the whole grocery bill as we usually split that too. Today chase called and labeled the transaction fraud. He was refunded the entire amount. I believe it was fraud as well. Next time i'll make sure it's janice that helps us. She's the only good money order employee there!

Food Lion Customer service always closed

Everyday the customer service office is always closed. Whats the sense in having the slogan, always here to serve you if it's always closed. It's very aggravating and a big disappointment when you walk in the store expecting to be able to purchase money orders to put your bills in the mail and its closed. That's not serving the customers. Poor mgmt

Food Lion Very poor customer service.

Hello,
I was at the Food Lion at 104 Highway 54 today in Carrboro and felt I was the victim of racism by the cashier. I am a white man and when I walked to the checkout the young girl, who is black, was gabbing it up with one of her friends, also an employee. When I started putting my groceries online I said hello as I always do but got only an ugly look by this young kid. She never said a word to me, not one. And usually when groceries are rung up, clerks normally say the amount even if we can see it. She said not a word, and I looked at what was owed and inserted my card. When the receipt was printed, she very reluctantly handed it to me.

This upset me to no end as I have never and I mean never been treated like this before, especially in a grocery store. I went straight to the manager of the store and told him the same thing I am writing here. All except the racist comment, which I totally believe was the reason why this young girl was rude. Not just rude, but almost like she hated me from the moment she saw me. I should have left everything there and just went to the manager when she didn't tell me the amount. I could have let her know how I felt about her attitude and let her know that I was prejudiced against. This incident is very disturbing to me and I may ask for some compensation by Food Lion for her utterly rude, ugly behavior. She doesn't know me, nor have we ever laid eyes on each other, and may never again. This child should be fired from her position and taught some customer service if she ever decides to go back to work in a reputable store such as Food Lion. Lucky for me, there is Harris Teeter and Publix.

Food Lion Manger following me

I have been shopping at foodlion on reidsville rd in spartenburg sc since they switched from bilo was shopping at bilo almost 2 years and not once have ive been watched and followed on every allie like today 7/14/2021 where i almost stopped shopping and went to another store just because i have a mohawk and a muscle dystrophy which makes me skinny make me a thief ive never stolen from any where always pay my way he judgeing a book by its cover which is very offensive as i fell like people stare cause my disability and they way it makes me walk something needs to be done about this issue or ill shop else where if he taught i was stealing then he should of stopped me on the way out not just stop following me after i go to register i didnt get his name but i was in store at 930 am he is white male manger i shop here almost every 2 days so they should know who i am not that many people come in with a mohawk.

Desired outcome: Something needs to be done to make me feel comfortable to shop again

Food Lion MVP Program and Shop and Earn

I frequently shop at Food Lion because it is close by and I've spent over $500 in the month of June, 2021. With each purchase I am supposed to be receiving credits for ‘Shop and Earn' in certain categories such as breads, frozen foods, meats and seafood, beverages, snacks and bakery, etc. after submitting multiple copies of receipts and requesting repeatedly I am still missing the bonus offers for two more categories and I'm tired of having to constantly send emails because some thing and Food Lion system is not giving credit to items that I purchase. Management in the store is unable to do anything and simply tells me to just "keep trying". Specifically, $30 spent in frozen food is supposed to garner a four dollar reward. In a single purchase I spent $22 in frozen foods and on the next trip another $18. I have exceeded the $30 needed to earn the reward and will have to send another email to plead with Food Lion to apply the $3.

Food Lion Sprite zero eight pack

I have written one complaint and have not heard back from your company. I would like to get this resolved. I purchased an eight pack of Sprite Zero on June 11th from the local Food Lion in Welcome North Carolina. I opened a bottle and it had a bad odor to it like an old urine odor. I wiped the bottle down and around the top, didn't notice the smell so I did drink the soda. I opened one the next day and noticed the same smell. This really concern me at that point so I reached out to the FDA I'm waiting to hear back from them and I also have written your company prior to this. Food Lion Service

Manager reprimanding employee in front of customers. It is offensive and made me feel uncomfortable. It seemed humiliating and degrading for employee.

No reason manager cant correct employee in an office not in front of customers. Appeared to be aggressive manager and no care for human dignity.

Desired outcome: Get a new manager.. that is not abusive to employees

Food Lion Pork roast

Attached label found on a pork roast product at Garner Food Lion - We did not purchase and left the store along with several other customers. The person in the meat department was questioned but was unable to provide any explanation except that it came from corporate!
why would Food Lion discourage a USA product? Please explain-

Food Lion Open hot food bar

Good afternoon,
I'm a residence of Mocksville, North Carolina where I shop at least twice a week at your Yadkinville Highway store. I noticed on Saturday January 23, 2021 that your hot food bar that sell chicken wings is open where anybody can walk up to it and spread germs (COVID-19) all over the food. In addition to this complaint, there are food tongs that citizens pick up over and over again without them being sanitized. I'm very surprised that this procedure is allow at the height of the pandemic where it can spread the virus even more. I purchase wings twice a week where at one time they were packaged in containers where germs wouldn't spread, but what happen to this safety protocol. Please change this procedure back to keep citizens safe, or I will cease to purchase your wings again.

Food Lion Store closing to early

I went to foodlion in hudson nc prior to 11:00pm to purchase cigars. This store and 1 other store are the only place withi 30 miles to purchase them. I will attach a photo if there is a place to do so in this complaint to prove they were closed you can see the time in the picture. As I said I got to the store at 10;57pm and the doors were locked and a manager came to the door opened the door and said it was 11:00pm and all tills have been pulled. I told him and showed him my watch that it was 10:58pm and cell phone showed 10;59 now. He dollars for someone to ask if his til was pulled and he says yes. I said I need them bad and they are the only place besides 1 other store to carry them and I got a "sorry". As I walk back to my car I take a screenshot of my cell the time is now 11:01pm. I am sure it takes a certain amount of time to pull a til correct? Unless that time is lessthan 1 minute they lied to me saying all tills were pulled at 10:58 when I am speaking with them and if it takes longer than 1 minute to pull a til they meaning this foodlion was closed prior to 11pm correct? I want to know why they closed early? I want the hours of cooperation changed to 10:30 10:45 10:50pm whatever time they close. I could have went to the other store if I had known the store was closed but on the door it says 11pm. By stopping at this foodlion I will not make the other store before they close and now have to do without. Do you think that is right? If the time is 11pm the last til should not be pulled until it is 11pm correct? What if a customer was in the store checking out? Do they have to put back there items not yet scanned and only pay for what they got prior to 11pm? I believe they would get to complete there purchase right? If not please tell me. I want to know why this store had all there tills pulled prior to 10:58pm? Please send response to [protected]@gmail.com

What else do you expect? Not all clocks show the same time. To be sure you have time to buy your cigars, it's wise to be there at least 15 minutes before closing time.

Well the cashier name is Martha. The cashier put her hand in her mouth and then touch my grocery. Well she was touching her teeth. Well she was also touching her mask over and over again. Well, I am very concern because of the coronavirus pandemic. Well, I hope that the matter is address. Well, I want to make sure that the manager of the store knows about this matter.

Food Lion Mask wearing

Last I heard a mandate is not a law. The Governor of Virginia has placed many exemptions or exceptions as provisions for people that cannot wear a mask. Food Lion is now requiring people to wear a mask in their store which is an infringement on my human, civil and constitutional rights. Why is not the exemptions or exceptions also added to their sign requiring people wear a mask? Why is someone standing at the door checking to see if people are wearing masks? Are they trying to make people scared and angry? Just wondering why are they pushing of mask wearing. People are starting to sue people that infringe on their human, civil and constitutional rights. Not saying I am going to sue but people are doing that.

Food Lion Mortons Lite Salt

Why have all the newly renovated stores in central VA changed so many products? One most needed is to re-stock Morton's Lite Salt. I have been using this product for years and now I have to order needed items from
Wal -Mart. I would much rather purchase this product locally. PLEASE consider
returning this item in your stores, please.

Food Lion Meat

My wife and I eat filet steaks three times a week .'Foodlions in Wilmington Carolina Beach Store
S are not selling filet, they are advertised as filet but you can't even fit them with a sharp steak knife .
You will lose a lot of customers including us that have to go to Harris Tetter,
They are ruining your reputation!
We spend a lot of money weekly on groceries and I wonder how much business you are losing with such terrible lying on your steaks !

Food Lion customer service

I purchased an AT&T calling card on Feb.4, 2020. I tried to activate the card only to find out it does not work. So, i went back into the store to speak with a store associate. She stated that the there is a no refund on those calling cards, something I was already aware of. I told her I have been buying those calling cards for more than a year, and this was the first time I ever had any problems. I asked to speak with the manager. The Assistance manager Reid Parker was the manager there that day. He told me the same thing, no refund. He just walked off, and went back to what he was doing. I approached him and asked how can the store be selling those cards when the cards are not activating properly! I told him maybe he need to pull those cards. I did not want to see anyone else lose there money. So, he went and pulled the cards off the shelf. I took a picture of him pulling the cards and asked him his name. Reason being i wanted to have proof I brought the card out of that store. Reid Parker told me if I don't leave the store he was going to call the police on me. For those people that know me knows I don't respect people. He did not even try to assist me. he made me feel that I did not matter. Not the first time I had an issue in that store. I love food loin but i have bad experiences in that store. I will never shop in that store again. The manager was very disrespectful. Spend my money where I am appreciated! I called customer Service 2 weeks ago and they didn't even call me back!

Food Lion Leah the cashier

Well she is very disrespectful to customers. Well she is always being rude to people. Well she tells people that they stick or that they have bad breathe. Well she is suppose to keep comments to herself. Well she is suppose to be train on this. Well she does not have to make a remark about people every time they come into the store. Well if you are not careful, you could start a argument. Well she has been doing this for along time. The problem needs to resolve.

She was very very rude and disrespectful she also has a very nasty attitude... I shop at the food lion every day for the last 5 yrs and I have never encountered someone like her! She also smokes marijuana and she also gives grocery away for free! I have complained once before but nothing seems to have been done! Other customers have also said how she has treated them when they have come into the store! Something needs to be done about her and her abuse of authority! Thank you

Food Lion floor cleaning

Sunday mornong before church I ran in to get somethings needed for service and a young lady was cleaning the floor, I notice she was wearing a mask, I soon found out why. The fumes from the machine was causing a lot people problems. There was some seniors in there having problems breathing, by the time I found the manager to say something I was losing my voice. When I told him, he said" this is Corporate call, I'll pass it along" and kept walking. I felt like we the customers was not important. This should be done after hours, not during store hours. This is a health hazard.
