FedEx Delivery and complaint handling

Tracking number [protected]

The package was sent for Saturday delivery, They charged me for the service but sent through regular mail (I was given this information by Marleen on Tuesday). I was told it maybe not deliverable due to signature requirement and I requested to remove the requirement.

As of writing this complaint the package is still not delivered and the updates keep saying the business is closed.

I received a delivery today that was suppose to be here last Friday. Check the pictures. I will NEVER shop at another store online that uses Fedex. This is not my first time. I use Chewy for my cat's supplies and 2 weeks ago they say a package was delivered on Sunday and it has not shown up yet. I am over it I hope they lose all of their business shipping. Just not worth the hassle.

FedEx Dangerous driver

Occurance was on 5/15/23 at 11:16 am in Bethel DE

When pulling out of my driveway heading east there was not a vehicle behind me. The road is a two lane road, one lane going east and the other going west with a 40 mph speed limit. I traveled about 1/3 of a mile when I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a truck so close to me I couldn't see the headlights. Coming into the town of Bethel the speed limit reduces to 25 Mph (from 40 mph). I reduced my speed to 25. The truck didn't back off and continued to tailgate me. Leaving the town of Bethel the speed limit increases to 45 mph. I was increasing my speed to 40 mph. At that point the truck passed me on a solid yellow line with on coming traffic coming towards me. As the truck passed me I was able to see it was a FedEx truck. The truck was able to get back into the eastbound lane but barely.

What the heck? The driver could have killed someone!

I hope someone at FedEx corporate sees this email.

Desired outcome: I would like an acknowledgement from FedEx that they read my email and addressed the driver of that FedEx truck.[protected]@comcast.net

FedEx Unsafe driver

I was in the left lane doing 70 in a 55 when a fedex truck, icence plate TCV-[protected] 9:00 AM came flying up on me and rode my bumper. The traffic in the right lane is going 60-65 so I don't see why I need to get into the right lane so this [censored] can go 80. But he uses hand signals to tell me to get over and gets right up on my bumper. In a piece of crap fedex box truck no less. This guy needs to find another job.

Desired outcome: At least warn this driver and write him up for being a danger to other drivers

FedEx Drivers speeding

Most all FedEx drivers are going too fast in Terrace Estates Mobil home Park at 1815 Sweetwater Rd. Spring Valley, CA 91977

If you make noise going over our speed bumps, then you are going too fast!

Slow down or we will send more speeding videos to FedEx Corporation Headquarters.

First video is today 5/12/2022, second was 4/30/2022 and there are more.

FedEx Incompetent driver

I had an important shipment due today. Item was for specific events this week. I deliberately had the item redirected to a nearby fed ex shipment center so that I wouldn’t miss the shipment while out. I even went to check on it today since it was due today. 10pm I get a notice that my package was “undeliverable” due to the incompetent driver bringing it to BROOKLYN instead of Manhattan, and since the shipper marked it “return to sender”, I’m SOL and now my package is being sent back to California, rather then delivered to me, and fed ex won’t do anything about it. What a terrible policy. If the package is “undeliverable” because THE DRIVER didn’t do his job right, it should be sent to the CORRECT ADDRESS not sent back. Horrible company. Hire better drivers or allow room for this own mistakes to be corrected and not make customers pay the consequences.

Desired outcome: Deliver package TO CORRECT ADDRESS.

FedEx FedEx sent & was to be delivered in 2 days

Sent FedEx package on 4/11/22 & charged $71.28 & to date, (5/9/22) not delivered. I was contacted to get my daughters email (which I had put on form) & he said my daughter would be contacted by email to verify address. To date, no contact & no delivery. To top it off, no refund! This is horrible customer service & taking advantage of customers. I asked to speak to manager & Tinesha said she was as high as a VP in Kansas City Office. I think FedEx employee made no effort to contact recipient & just left it alone (did not care).

Desired outcome: That a refund be issued, since no contact was ever made to try & get correct address (which they say is wrong, but no issue before).

FedEx Packages never arrived

I have had two packages from FedEx they was not delivered at first I thought someone stole them but my mom was home all they and did not see a trunk both days. The first package was $270 worth of items and the second $60 .Both packages missing days apart .Calling their customer service support is a joke and waste of time .If their drivers cant deliver the packages to the right address they need to hold them accountable for the mixup. I also had two other packages delivered the same day of the second missing item they was from Ups and USPS and both of them was on the porch. SO FEDEX YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. You all need to do better.

Desired outcome: I want my packages and the driver held accountable for my packages. I WANT THE COMPANY TO DO MORE WHEN PACKAGES ARE LEFT AT THE WRONG ADDRESS. OR NOT LEFT WHERE YOU ASK THEM TO LEAVE THEM.

FedEx Poor delivery workers

Today it’s just another disgraceful delivery from FedEx or it’s subcontractors.

My Chewy delivery (recurring every three weeks) is thrown on my porch blocking my door. Now I must disassemble the door to retrieve the boxes. WTF is it that hard to place them so maybe I can get out of my house?

Ring video shows the driver tossing them “at” the porch.

Really if I performed my job as such I would have been terminated. If you are unhappy with the job requirements find something you would enjoy doing and don’t make the shipper take the heat for your miserable attitude.

Desired outcome: What happened to company employees, they were proud of the job and took pride in their duties.

FedEx 2 day shipping - not guaranteed !

I had a big event for our ceo . I had made custom signage for . Valued at over $900.

I scheduled a pick up for Friday the 11th for 2 day delivery . The event was Tuesday the 15th.

I placed my packages downstairs for pick up at 11.30am. I went down to package room at 12.30pm and they were gone. I presumed they had been picked up. At 4.30pm a fed ex driver came to pick up. He told me fwd ex had not picked up yet. I called fed ex , they said they hadn’t picked up. I thought my packages had been stolen . I paid $200 to my building to check the security cameras . It showed a female fed ex driver taking my packages . I kept calling fed ex . They kept telling me they had not collected them. I called all through the weekend. Finally on Monday , after I sending the video footage they admitted that a ground pick up driver had taken my packages in error. But they apologized and promised they would rush my packages and still get them there by Tuesday in time for my event. At that point I told them I could rush reorder my items and have them redelivered in time - but they promised I would receive . I was following the tracking and when I landed in Austin , the tracking still showed that my packages were in New York. I called again . Again was promised would get my packages . Needless to say, I didn’t get my packages in time . I got them Wednesday . Day after the event . The event was a mess , I nearly got fired . I called fed ex - they promised compensation . Ha ! Now , they have denied not only any compensation but also denied refund on my shipping costs ! Saying their two day shipping actually does not guarantee two day shipping and they are not going to refund me .

FedEx Delivery of pharmaceuticals; asr; breach of contract

I expected a medication that I require to be delivered from the pharmaceutical company, via FedEx, on 5/5/2022. This medication aids my lung function and breathing capacity, cutting my need for supplemental oxygen from, 24 hrs every day to half that time each day (overnight), in addition to emergency exacerbations. Every day delivery is delayed is consequential to my well being.

On 5/6/2022, I called the pharmaceutical company's automated delivery tracking service to get updated information. The service stated that the medication had been delivered by FedEx, to 5#### ### **, *******, MN 5### (my full home address), on 5/5/2022, at 3:54 pm. It also provided a tracking number, which I used to find complete information.

This is what I found. (All possible identifying information has been coded,)

I next spoke to a rep from FedEx Customer Support who said that the driver was "new" and had delivered the package to the wrong address, describing the GPS location to me, which I deduced was the next neighbor down from us. How the driver could have driven past our home, twice, and not seen the large house numbers on both sides of the mail box, at the end of our driveway, is beyond me, but, apparently, he managed that quite well. The CS rep went on to tell me that the time for the driver to “be in my area” had passed, and, therefore, my package could not be retrieved and redelivered until Monday. I explained to her, again, that the package contained a medical syringe, which was time and temperature sensitive, and I could not wait until Monday. She asked if I knew the neighbors well enough to get the package myself. I believe I told her I didn't know them since they'd just recently moved there, but I'm not sure of that. What I am sure of is telling her that I could not imagine any of the neighbors signing my name to a delivery and then not calling here. She said that the delivery was a residential release and did not require a signature. By this time, I was admittedly angry with the whole FedEx experience (which, I must say, was pretty much in line with past FedEx delivery and customer service experiences). I told her that was not true, that these pharmaceutical deliveries ALWAYS require an adult signature (indicated by the "ASR" on the package's shipping label). She had no response to that. I can't remember exactly what was said next, but at some point, I told her the neighbors would be at work all day, but I would try to get the package as soon as I could since I really had no choice. She then asked me to call her and let her know if I got the package. I asked her why I would do that since she wouldn't do anything to help me if I didn't get it. She said, "Well, I don't want to send a driver out there if you get the package yourself, do you get that?", to which, I responded, "Well, I really don't care about your inconvenience, do you get THAT?" She started to say, "Ma'am!", I cut her off, told her I had nothing else to say, that I had to go find my medicine before I ended up in the Emergency Room!” and hung up.

I did eventually retrieve my package, which involved me getting portable O2 tank, getting dressed, going to the neighbors, knocking on both doors, eventually going into their garage, finding the box, and taking it, despite them not being home...feeling like a thief! They do not park their cars in the garage and, obviously, had no idea the package was in there. I will call them tomorrow.

To wrap up, this is what I experienced for a single delivery from FedEx:

1) I received the pharmaceutical, special handling package a day late, which caused considerable stress and physical discomfort to me as I began the process of tracking it down and going to get it. As I told FedEx Customer Service rep, we are not talking about an Amazon package here, this is a medically-necessary, time and temperature-sensitive item.

2) The driver delivered the package to the wrong address, even though doing so meant he had to drive past our mailbox, at the end of our driveway, TWICE (coming and going), PLUS a County sign close to the mailbox, both clearly showing our large, reflective house number, #####, on both sides.

3) The driver left the box (a large “Thermosafe Insulated Shipper” box) in an unattached garage, at the wrong address, and left no note on the house to alert the residents that it was there, despite numerous box labels clearly indicating that the contents required special handling. (Labels on the box included: TEMPERATURE-SENSITIVE PRODUCT; HANDLE PROMPTLY; REFRIGERATE UPON ARRIVAL; PROTECT FROM FREEZING; FRAGILE; THIS SIDE UP)

4) The delivery information, the shipping box, AND the mailing label clearly indicated this shipment was an "ASR" (adult signature required), ”Priority Overnight Delivery”. The shipping label also included my phone number, easily accessible to the driver should he/she have problems or questions, such as WHERE DO YOU LIVE?! The driver negligently ignored all of that information, as well as the numerous labels affixed to the outside of the box, which, again, indicated the contents required special handling and immediate attention.

5) It appears to me that the FedEx driver, with intention, falsely indicated that I had signed for receipt of the delivery. Not only did he not receive MY signature, he did not receive ANY signature for the delivery, adult or otherwise! When I brought this to the attention of the Customer Service rep, she told me that it was a residential release delivery and did not require a signature, another false assertion.

6) The Customer Service rep's message was quite clear, that retrieving and redelivering my package was an inconvenience and would not be addressed until next week. Her overall handling of the situation was as if it was an annoyance for her, brought about by me, the customer, whose scheduled, medical delivery was handled with reckless indifference by a FedEx driver who displayed gross disregard of policies governing pharmaceutical shipments of this type. Not once did the CS rep apologize on behalf of FedEx or give even the smallest offer of assistance or concern.

So, what part of this experience is within reason for FedEx, or any delivery service, entrusted with shipments that are vital to consignee and shipper?

Desired outcome: Driver fired for disregard of pharmaceuticals & ASR, no delivery notice @ house, potential for harm. CS reps retrained. Assurance FedEx will act & not let this slide, Credit to pharm comp for this shpmnt cost

FedEx FED EX poor delivery service from Gaithersburg Maryland

I have a camera doorbell and FED Ex states they deliver to my door and don't, they lie.

FED EX doesn't deliver packages at all I have a doorbell camera and can prove they never deliver packages and lie to customers just like me.

FedEx states I am not home or business closed that needs to be investigated. I do know the business that is sending me the packages should not pay for terrible services. I have camera footage too.

FedEx problems with delivery

I have lived in this house at this address since 2017. For the first 3 years packages were delivered promptly without issue. For the last two years and currently getting worse Fedex trucks can no longer find my house. My address is Chillicothe rd but my driveway is on Hinkle st. Packages are being left at neighbors houses. A package was suppose to be delivered Sunday but it was returned because driver could not find house, it happened again with the same package Monday. Tuesday I saw the Fedex truck sitting on Chillicothe not knowing where to go. I had to run across my yard and catch him before he drove away again. I ended up getting caught in the rain. Today, Wednesday, it happened again with a different package. I saw the Fedex truck sitting on Chillicothe rd not knowing where to go. It pulled away before I could get out the door and run across the yard, and was taken back to the distribution center. It is getting very frustrating. My number [protected]. I need you help. Keith

Desired outcome: I would either the driver taking packages to the Post Office when they can not find my house, or directions for this address or phone number placed in Fedex's computer so the driver can find my house or call me if they need directions

FedEx Damaged property

On 5/01/2022 a Fedex truck arrived at my residence to deliver a package. My ring camera clocked it at 11:34am. The driver dropped off the package and went back to his truck. We had heard a loud pop and a cracking noise, we looked outside to see the Fedex truck driving off. I went outside to investigate and discovered my mailbox had been damaged. The wooden post is split down the middle and the metal box is bent up so bad it won't close completely. On my ring camera I have the date and time of the truck pulling up and less than 10 minutes later another video without the truck and the mailbox damaged. The issue is that the post is on a concrete sidewalk and would not be easily replaced.

Desired outcome: would like the mailbox to be replaced. or paid for.

FedEx Delivery delay

Had a package shipped with Fedex ground on 4/23/2022 from Long Beach CA to New Jersey. Fedex tracking showed delivery would be on 4/29. Package arrived at Fedex destination on 4/30 (Saturday). Now Fedex tracking showed delivery as "pending". Wasn't delivered the next business day (Monday). On Monday night called Fedex customer service and was told delay was due to large volume of shipments at delivery location, and that delivery would be by Wednesday 5/3. WTF. Even USPS would have been faster. Don't count on Fedex if you need a definite delivery timeframe.

FedEx delivery time frame

I am so sick and tired of Fedex packages coming late or damaged.

Several times I have ordered from ShopGoodWill out of Indiana. They send it out on a Tuesday or a Wednesday and it gets to Commerance City Colorado and sits for days. I will first be told it will be here Saturday or Sunday. Arriving early.

Then and update will come through pending. No scheduled delivery.

It will then update and get delivered M-W.

What the hell? A week to get a 2-3 delivery? I am so tired of this. It costs an arm and leg to get it shipped. Esp. since the Goodwill sites also charge handling fee.

I just had another package from Fedex yesterday that they didn't leave since they said no one was home and had sent me a text.

NO my husband and I were home. And no doorbell rand and NO text from Fedex.

Also no reason it shouldn't have been left. It didn't need to be signed for.

Yes it was windy. So stick it between the doors or put off to the left side of step.

Now today am still waiting for my SGW package. And called them to find out where it's at.

How can my package be sitting in Commerence City for 3 days now but it's in transit?

No heres the kicker

I am 1 hr and 6 minutes away.

But the shipping station is in Loveland CO which is 52minutes away from

Commerence City. And I am 28 minutes away from Loveland.

I could drive my car and go get it. But no one knows where it is since it's in transit. And why should I? I paid them to deliver it.

Now if it comes tomarrow which I doubt because they have to process it and get it on the Loveland truck.

So maybe Tuesday?

It's been an hour away since Friday. This is unexcuseable.

4 to 5 days late and a hour away.

The CEO can afford a football team but can't get his packages delivered in a decent time frame.

One full week to get a package delivered. Also my husband paid for 2 day delivery $55 a few weeks ago and it took 5 days to get here.

No refund because he was told that Fedex doesn't guarantee times anymore.

So we wasted $55 but the fat cat still gets paid?

I sure would hate to be shipping live animals through them because they would all starve to death.

Friday at 12pm an hour away. Today is Sunday and it is still pending update.

Does the CEO use his own company to deliver? I bet his get to him on time.

Some places are charging $16 fedex rates for packages. Double what the items cost. Florida to CO. For each item purchased. I refuse to use those sites. I get ssdi $900 a month and these costs and delays are killing me.

Desired outcome: On time shipping and not having to wait for something 3 to 4 days extra that I could go get. a lot cheaper rates if not going to be the Fedex 2-3 day shipping like it use to be.

FedEx Delivery

delivery t/[protected] ... was messaged that an attempt to deliver was made on 04/30/2022 at 9:53AM. I was home and I have two small dogs that will bark at any noise at the door. I live at the last house on a dead end street. There was no truck and no attempt to deliver. The customer service app does nothing but repeat the message that delivery attempt failed. I'm like most of your other customers. I will not make purchases in the future from businesses that use Fedex delivery. Very disappointing in every way possible.

Desired outcome: package delivered on day specified.

FedEx Lying about attempted delivery

This is the 3rd time that this has happened with Fedex for a package that required a signature for delivery. I have been home waiting by my door all morning+afternoon when I receive an email saying delivery was attempted and failed. This is just a lie. I go out to check and there isn't even an attempted delivery notice at all. No delivery was ever made. This keeps happening. I feel like whoever is delivering sees that my package will require a signature and just decides to not make any attempt and to lie and say that they did to avoid the time that it would take. I have NEVER had this successfully happen. No delivery person has ever come knock on my door and ask for a signature. There have only ever been lies about the attempt. This is frustrating because I pay delivery fees clearly for all of these packages but I have to receive it almost a week late due to "failed" delivery attempts and I have to walk to a Fedex place to pick up the actual package. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Desired outcome: I want an apology and delivery to be actually attempted for my packages in the future.

FedEx delivery

12 of April 2022 they attempted delivery and even though they were supposed to leave the package at the door they failed to do so. then they call me leaving messages that i need to pick up the package myself. i went to the place they told me to go to pick up my parcel but the parcel seems to be missing. then my girlfriend called them and found out that package is in their distribution center in another city. this is the last time we use fedex.

FedEx Fedex delivering my package after my business was closed and it being stolenl.

I own a clothing store at a busy outdoor mall. I was expecting a box of children's clothing to be delivered from Fedex. They delivered them at 7:03 P.M. we close at 5 P.M. The package was stolen overnight. Now I am out product and over $500.00. Their "customer service" is saying it is not their fault because the tracking says delivered, even though we weren't open to receive it!
