My 12yr old daughter wanted to purchase toys for her nephews. She saw the buy one get one 50% off and figured she was able to get toys for all of them. When we got to the register the clerk, a young lady with red hair and very long eyelashes told us that sale wasn't valid. Even though there are at least 6 or 7 signs posted. Another young man, who she claimed was the supervisor, said the same thing. If the sales were no longer valid, they shouldn't be posted. Inconsistencies like this and the fact that the store is a mess is why I don't like shopping at family dollar. Your employees don't seem to care about their jobs, the store appearance or the customer. My daughter left the store disappointed because she wasn't able to afford to get the gifts for her nephews.
