Family Dollar review: The Manager (Alex) a young lady at the West Johnson Store in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and her response to a situation.

I attempted to purchase several pair of children's Pajamas that were marked clearance at $2.00. I had purchased several sets last week. When they rang up at $5.00 instead of $2.00 the Manager (Alex) was called over. She said Corporate had directed them to change the price. I told her it was on the tag, and it should be honored at $2.00, and she said that was not possible. I told her then they should not have been on the rack. And she said she could not change it as it would put her store at risk.

I did argue that issue with her. As the experience I have had at the other stores is they would honor the price.

I then proceeded to purchase 3 adult pajama bottoms. They came up as $2.00, however after ringing them up, she said she was cancelling the order and refused to sell the items to me. Stating that I had been extremely rude to her. She was very unprofessional, not only in her interactions, but in her appearance. I simply stated the facts that if an item is marked the price, that price is honored. That is how every store manages the similar situation. Including Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target and several others.
