Family Dollar review: Store #10039 health & safety hazards

Corporate needs to immediately intervene at Family Dollar Store #10039, located at 2041 Americana Blvd, Orlando, FL 32839. Under the current manager, this location has become a major liability and a severe public safety hazard. The issues start before you even walk through the doors. An unofficial, sketchy individual lingers right outside, opening the door for everyone who enters. It feels highly opportunistic and immediately creates an unsafe, uncomfortable environment where you expect to be harassed for money before you even step foot inside.
Once indoors, the store is completely un-shoppable and unsafe. Abandoned freight carts, all-encompassing debris, and unsorted merchandise barricade the main aisles, making it incredibly hard to even navigate the store, much less pass through with wheelchairs or strollers. The sanitation is even worse. Food shelves are covered in hair and sticky spills, while the coolers are filled with black sludge, mold, and mildew. It is a literal biohazard.
Customer service does not exist here. The manager is incredibly dismissive, rude, and entirely unhelpful. Getting help is impossible because employees hide in various places inside and outside the store, leaving the front registers completely empty. When you finally track an employee down, they act like they can't be bothered and immediately pass the buck, trying to get someone else to check you out. Adding to this staggering unprofessionalism, the staff barely speak English. Instead of helping, they speak to each other in Creole while looking right at you and laughing—making it blatantly obvious they are mocking customers to their faces. Completely unacceptable conditions, and I will never bring my kids in here again.
