I have been buying from family dollar for a few years but in the last 5 times I see a price under the product I would like to buy and get to the counter and it another price, to day I bought 50 caplets of Aleve , under the Aleve it read 7.50 but when I gat to the counter it rang up 8.50 last week I was going to buy cat food under the cat food it read 14.50 but when I get to the register it was 16.50 as you can see the store is overcharging the people I am 76 years old and cannot afford to be overcharged ever time I go into family dollar.
Desired outcome: I would like the store to get a fine for over charging the public.
The lady should have received a refund of the difference between what the label stated and what she was charged.
She is the customer therefore the proper and professional way to handle it would be the manager giving a refund and apologizing.
Throwing words at an elderly customer is not the right way to represent Family Dollar.
