Family Dollar review: Oscillating fan

I purchased a oscillating fan from family dollar 05/26/2020 for 22.00 dollars, the fan did not work properly, I just wanted to exchange it, the clerk said they did not exchange nor refund due to virus. She stated that there was a notice
Saying they not except refunds nor exchanges, there were customers in the store without mask, I said I did not see a notice to buy at your own risk, or no refunds or exchanges who has 22.00 dollars to take a chance. It was very hot, I am a stroke victim, a diabetic needing a cooling system. I said maybe they should have had a engineer with a mask to get the fan running, trying not to get upset I left, it is very unfair, to keep my money or exchange.
