Family Dollar review: manager kenneth brown

Very degrading experience at family dollar at 29264 hwy 43, albany, la 70711. Manager was kenneth brown. I was told I was band from family dollar for life. For doing nothing but returning something. I ask for price check on before purchasing. He said it was right other clerk. I purchased item 1 minute ago. Never leaving register. I told him it said half off it's not on receipt. Kenneth said not half off priced wrong. I said then give me the money back. Then I said I need my receipt. He said you cant have it if u return something. I said. I need first receipt and return receipt. I used a credit card. I took a picture of receipts. Cause I couldn't have them!

No one but me in store. Then I looked at receipt. The splenda. On receipt said $2.75 a box on receipt. I said they are $1. He went with me and looked. It said $1 a box. He said they are not a dollar a box. I said then I dont want them. It says a $1 a box. He wouldn't answer me. That's full brand price. I got generic. So he had to refund that. I said I need a copy of return receipt. He said lady. I've had enough of you. You exaduate every time you come in store. I said what's that mean. He said if your not educated enough to know. Then ask someone. I said I'm asking you. He said get out my store and dont come back. Your band from this store. I said well I got something to say sir. He said get out so I told him loud. Because he was walking away. I was being nice to nice. I was getting upset. I was only one in store beside other clerk. Mark price's right and people want ask u to check prices or want have to return them. Honor marked prices. He said get out I had him call cops. I said I didn't do anything wrong until now. You peice of [censored]. I live one block away from this store. I shop their sometimes 3 x a wk. Most of my check goes there. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I'm embarrassed and dont understand how someone can treat someone like he did me. He had ear phones on in the back singing loudly. I guess I disturbed his music. When I walked in they had around 7 people in the store. In wasn't there 10 minutes. When I was leaving 2 were checking out. I waited to return till they were done. Then that left me last person in the store. How can u have an employee who wears headphones and listens to music with customers in the store. Stocking. Then tell at a customer for buying goods. I've noticed he has done this ti others. Losing customers like what he did me. Is a big mistake. If you have a customer asking prices. It means they dont steal. Think about that. Guess u want thieves in store. Good luck.
