Family Dollar review: Manager

I was in store # [protected] on route 321 in prestonsburg, ky, july 16. I had a horrible encounter with the manager melinda at 12:50 pm & a male associate, whom did not have on on face masks. They both were in the middle of the end aisle, just standing there talking. I needed an item that was only a couple of feet past her and stood back about 8 feet and politely said, "excuse me.. I just need that item right past you." she jerked her head around & went on a hateful tirade telling me that "there are other routes!" spitting as she talked and told me that I needed to go down the other long asiles, and go completely around and then back up to get to the item that was right past her instead of her wanting to move a few fee back. I was appalled that a manager was exhibiting that kind of behavior. I have never in my 46 years of living had to complain about an employee of any establishment, but this one was different, so I had to speak up. Not only was she putting customers at risk by not wearing a face mask/covering, none of the employees were either, and the manager was spitting as she went on a hateful tirade about how she wasn't going to move. I asked what her name was and she pointed at her name tag and yelled, "yeah, look at it!" please go to the video at that time to see this woman's actions. I am sure if they have camera's in the store, that if you go to it you can see how I was treated by a manager. Even if she wasn't a manager, for her to not be wearing a face mask and not willing to step back a few feet is just unbelievable during this pandemic we are all living in. The cashier that checked me out, whom was not wearing a face mask either, was really sweet and apologized for the manager's behavior and told me that she is hateful all the time to her employees. Please do something about this. I can't believe I have had to do this over a grown woman that was acting that way. She does not need to be in charge of anything. What a horrible human being to act that way.
