I was purchasing Pedialyte which is ebt eligible, I buy this product everywhere on ebt. Today this particular family dollar tried to charge me as a taxable item and said I couldn’t purchase it on ebt card. I knew they were wrong. Family Dollar no receipt paper, moving money from apple card to family dollar card without permission.

On Friday, June 23rd, 2023 at approximately 4:30pm. I purchased a card from family dollar in Albany, Louisiana. (store number 07543). I was not informed until after I purchased a 100 Apple gift card that the receipt paper was not working. I need the receipt in order to do what I intended with the card. The clerk Called the Manager in duty (Thelma Simmons) to help with the matter. When she couldn't get the printer to work Mrs. Simmons decided to put it on a Family Dollar card. I did not want this and in fact I asked for the apple card back. I think Mrs Simmons was going to try and buy a new apple card with the family dollar gift card. I know this cannot be done and I am the customer. She told me to come back Saturday and she would give me my money back. I have been up there four days in a row. She is not there when I go. I am told by the clerks she is the only one that can help me. I ended up having to buy another apple card. When I mess up at work it comes out of my paycheck! It sure keeps me from making mistakes at others people's expense. I am very upset that I am out 100 dollars with no way to get my money back. I will not use this card as I do not plan to ever visit your store again.

This store is in my neighborhood so it's convenient. But when you look at the shelf and purchase items from the price tag on the shelves and get to the register and it's at least 75 cents to a dollar higher in price. Family Dollar Air conditioning

This is my second complaint, as I could not find where my first one posted. I am currently employed with Family Dollar (store 10158) and we are miserable with the heat here. At first we were told that one of the ACs were broke, but someone came and looked and nothing was wrong with it. It is my understanding that corporate controls the temperature, but I'm not so sure they realize how hot it gets here in the South. My last post someone replied to my post saying that the ceiling may need to be fixed, but there are no holes or anything where heat could enter. The door stays shut other than customers coming in and out as well. We have had many, many complaints of how hot it is in here coming from customers and staff. Please could you turn the thermostat down a few degrees. This is a multi million dollar company that I would hope would like to keep their employees comfortable as well as employed. Please take this into consideration.

Desired outcome: Turn down thermostat.

A few days ago, maybe June 17th or 18th? I gave a girl a ride to Family Dollar near me #8172 on Hwy 60 in Superior, Az. I went with the intention of buying ice cream... I've been going to this store for years since it was first there, around 10-15 years, I am 67 and have worked in Customer Service since 1984. They had a mgr there who has retired - everytime...

Family Dollar Store manager

on 6/17/23, about 5:00pm, I was told by store manager listed sale items are not acknowledged after 4:00pm the Saturday before the new sale starts on Sunday. Was told sale stickers were already removed from store. Never encountered this behavior before as a customer for many years. The manager 'Tia" was very rude. When I asked for Corporate number, she lied and said " the number on your receipt is for corporate', which is not the case. As being a Dollar General employee, customer service is number one, the disrespect and rudeness that this manager displayed is not acceptable. And of course, none of the other employees' knew a number for corporate either. This took place at 1415 E. Coldspring location. Didn't appreciate being embarrassed or treated rudely as a paying customer.

Desired outcome: Hoping I get a response back with an apology from this manager and accurate store policy information so this won't happen to me or any other customer in the future...Thanks in advance.

Family Dollar Bella 11” copper pan

The item is a clearance item. I scanned the item & it said the price was $ 4.25.

When I got to the register is rang up for $7.25. I explained that it was wrong. The cashier said “ oh I don’t know”. I asked her to take it off. She told me “ that if I didn’t have money I shouldn’t try to buy”. I told her it was a clearance item & the price was wrong. I asked if she could call the manager, she replied” there’s no manager here”. I then went to my car where I noticed another item that rang up regular price. I went back in to return it. The cashier attitude was horrible, the way she insulted me in front of other customers. I told her I would call corporate. She said she didn’t care” if I was finished I can go”

Desired outcome: This is beyond poor customer service.I just wanted the items at the clearance price.

Family Dollar Disgustingly, dirty parking lot with food and no garbage cans to be found

Every time I go to this Family Dollar, it’s disgusting. The floor seven been washed, the parking lot is disgustingly filthy. There’s food and wrappers and car parts and all kinds of debris everywhere. And there’s never any garbage cans to find. Every time I go in to the parking lot, it’s filthy. People are hanging around, begging for money, begging for food. I would think he would have cameras rolling because it is against the law to beg. At least it is in the city of Cleveland. That’s called panhandling.

Desired outcome: Cleaning the parking lot an empty garbage cans would be the solution. Nobody ever cleans the parking lot, and nobody ever empty the garbage cans. People just leave their garbage in the parking lot and nobody cares.

Rosa Harris store number 12228 midland, TX 79703 My complaint is that she takes money out of the safe to buy certain items for herself and then a week later puts it back in like nothing ever happen, this happen [protected] and to me that looks like stealing and she done it several times before, and she has bad customer service skills cussing at multiple customers in the past month.

Family Dollar Application

Hello,

I requesting an investigation into the hiring process. I submitted my application around May 10th or May 11th. I was in the store and I was talking to Dajha Turner I was in the store and to let her know that I submitted an application for merchandising. I told her my first name, Celeste. She said she received an application with a first name that started with a "C". Then she texted me from the number [protected] on May 12th.I have been the Family Dollar many times and she has never mentioned to be about an interview. I have noticed the store has signs up needing help. It seems there is a big turnoverat this store because of her. I also see other employees from other storest putting her stock on the shelf. If you need help so much why aren't you hiring. My last time I was in the store she was on the phone talking with someone that she had to work a double shift. You need t o investigate this store I feel she is steeling time and not working.

I will be filing an EEOC complaint regarding the hiring.

On June 3 at 9:49 pm I went your store on sterlington rd to pick up a few items thinking I had 10 minutes when I get to the store the cashier said the store was closed I then replied its still 10 minutes to closing and he said the store closed. This isn't the first this has happened but the first time I'm reporting it, the hours on the door States 8am to 10 pm, why are they not staying open until closing time

I have been a employee for two months. at store number 5171 The manager here has done zero training with me. Her technique is sink or swim. I have requested a schedule for two months and has received one. I constantly ask for a schedule to no avail.
