I bought a Eureka Forbes water Purifier nearly 7 months back. They had mentioned at the time of sales that they provide the best service to the customer. In my case nobody came for the service after 3 month or 6 months which they were supposed to do. Then suddenly my machine reported some fault. I made a complaint to the toll free number and they gave me a code number. They told the same day a person would visit me and solve the problem.

Nobody turned up. I used to call almost everyday, and had to describe the entire problem regularly. Then after nearly 20 days one guy came who did not even know to open the machine. He told he would come the very next day and we kept waiting days and weeks. After inquiring with others I came to know that most of the people in our are are getting the same kind of experience and they seldom do the service properly.

If your machine fails they will not turn up. Those who came gave some vague answers and nothing got right. In between I contacted the people who sold the machine to us. They told service is not their division. For the past 2 months We are not able to get filtered water. My friends are telling me that I have done a mistake by selecting this brand.

Will Eureka Forbes be responsible for any health issues arising from this. If they can refund the money and take the machine, we would be greatly happy and can go for another brand.

This is the worst Experience I had from any brands. If they are not able to repair the machine (booster model) they should not sell it. Better they stop marketing it and taking the health of the people into their hands.

Same complaint was there for me also instead of chaniging the code he has valuntary spoiled the automatic winding of wire system now he is telling to take out the machine to the service centre what is the guarantee of the spare parts which he will replace for the entire macine with bad one? Also either for water purifier or vaccum machine for the replacement of small parts they are asking much more amount and they are compelling us to go for annual maintenance. I am residing in the colony abt 30-35 Kms from the service centre in a colony if the artisan comes for attending anything for 10 -15 residents he is collecting trevelling charges from all the attenders that also double tripple. It is better to know the current prices of all the spare parts and the company should display the prices on the web site so the service centre should not cheat us. we should go to consumer forum instead of repeated complaints. my email ID is sunilbais@kknpp.com

I had posted a complaint few months back. Now that the issue is resolved and our AquaSure is working fine, I wanted to remove my complaint. Since I realised there was no way to remove my comment, I decided to leave another comment.

Ms Sowmya from Eureka Forbes got in touch with us after seeing my complaint here. Since then, the response from the company (especially the Bangalore employees) has been very good. Finally, a service person visited us and replaced the part that had a problem. I would like to thank Sowmya and others who finally took notice and resolved this problem. They have helped us regain trust in the company. I would request them to act sooner than this time with other customer problems. Thanks again. I would like to thank Complaints Board too for giving us the platform to lodge complaints.

I had purchased a aquaguard total RO on 14.10.08 and there is leakage in the tap. I put up the complaint on 01.01.09 till date nobody attened the complaint. the tap has to be replaced.
this is my advice to every body never buy any eurekaforbes products. They are number one cheaters in all means. the sales executives are the number one cheaters and worest in service.

I completely agree the above complaint(s). In addition to worst after sales service, I also face problem with the replacement cadridge for the Water Purifier (25 ltrs). I bought this product due to the brand name and trusted that the quality and service will be good. At the time of sale, the sales person has promised, the cadridge will be delivered at door steps once we place a request. However, this is not true. When we called customer care, they said, free door delivery is not applicable after the guarantee period and this information was not mentioned at the time of sales. Moreover, if we need the cadridge at door steps, we need to pay Rs. 250 extra or else we have to visit one of Eureka's agency which is far away from our home.

Now, I have decided to buy the same product from the other brand which delivers the cadridge at no extra cost. I assume the Rs.2500(approx) is a loss to me.

One advise to Europe Forbes Management: Please do not recruite the salesperson who are not loyal either to your company or to customer. I am hundred percentage sure, that this type of incidence will surely bring bad image to your brand.

I will strongly recomment my collegues, relatives and Friends not to buy any product from Eureka Forbes.

I have changed my house recently, and have been using e-boil for abut 3 years now.
I raised a request K1301 for installation, and was committed to get the activity done in 48 hrs. Now, even after 6 days no one has even bothered to call me, leave alone visiting the site. I have been calling them regularly and hearing to there same story again " I have escalated it, he will surely come today ".
Can any one please have a look ?

How can we handle these wierd things... Any procedure in place to approach any place to get justice, say consumer court... AM in same situation, I have got the unit, but for installation, everyday i have to call and i get answers tomorow...!?.
Today Had a fight with them, and told them that I would drop the unit in their office and get the money back along with the penalty ... So they promised me to get the installation done by tomorow.

I own a Eureka Forbes Water Purifier Model-Nova-I. It has been giving me trouble free service till date. I have a AMC with the Company valid till 27/3/2010. It is surprising to note that Nobody has bothered to come from Monsoon time, till date to carry on the periodic Service which they are bound to visit and carry.

On 15/10/08, I contacted their Euro Helpline and was attended by Ms. Shweta. she assured me that some one will come within 48hrs and service the Equipment. Nobody turned up on 16, 17, 18th etc despite constant reminders, except for their sweet assurances consistently. I again called on 20/10/08, after getting totally disgusted at the unprofessional service attitude, which has never happened earlier. I was attended by Ms. Amrita, again sweet and courteous, assuring me that she will personally look into the issue. I make it quite clear that I am fed up with all the assurances. She tells me to hold on and she will put me on to her Senior Mr. Abdul. Line gets disconnected. I again Redial and get connected to Mr.Raustin, who again asks me to be cool and will do the needful. Pathetic Service from Company Who Claim- " Your Freind For Life ". Ultimately I call their Office at Prabhadevi and speak to Customer Service Ms. Anu Kotian at around 5.00pm. She is yet to act and get back.
Totally disgusting, when it comes to a Product related to Hyegiene & Health.

We have purchased one water-purifier and signed an annual maintenance contract of 2 years for maintaining this product. The contract was signed on 10.11.2007 and valid upto 09.11.2009 .Invoice number of contract receipt number is 663 . This contract was signed with the Eureka-fobes's frenchisee M/s- CARE Enterprised, Chandmari Chowk, Motihari, W.champaran for Rs. 1690. But till date service of my water-purifier has not been done and my purifier is non-functional since may-2008. We have contacted the said frenchisee for several times on their contact number +91-[protected], but in vain. Now we are forced to drink boiled water since may-2008. This product was supposed to maintained at interval of every Six(6) months. So I request you to maintain my system as per contract and bring my system from non-functional to functional condition. My system was supposed to have one charcoal changing in May, which has not been done, so please extend my contract for another Six(6) months. We have talked to Muzzafarpur, b ut it has of no use. So please help us to bell out of this agony.

I have purchased a Eureka Forbes Aquasure storage water purifier on 2nd August 2008. As per the instructions I have been doing regular cleaning of the filter and all other parts weekly. However since the past 3 weeks I have noticed that the entire water from the top container does not filter down to the bottom container.
I had been given a service center number at the time of purchase, (022-[protected]). I have been complaining on this number for the past one week. My complaint number is 830. Everytime the lady on the phone tells me that the mechanic would be at my place that day but that day hasn't dawned yet, inspite of me calling them everyday. I have even talked with the so-called mechanics, a Mr. Nikhil, ([protected]) and a certain Mr. Dilip, but till today they haven't got the time to visit my place and look into my complaint. So, what do you have to say?
I am obviously very unsatisfied with this kind of an attitude of your people. If you guys can't handle these things then why do you dupe honest customers like us.
Let me know if you can handle this at all or I should take further appropriate action.
An early response from your side, though not expected, would be highly appreciated.

I am facing similar problem, I had bought a water purifier from Eureka about an year back.
Till now I had given many complaints and reminder but no one had bothered to come for service.
Best part is when ever I log a complaint, I start receiving call from their sales team and the momet I say that I need service, they simply vanish.
I m planning to go to consumer court against them.

I bought an ACE Euroclean a few weeks back from a persistent sales executive Binod Kumar. After selling he promised me an accessory bag in written duly stamped.He never came back and now a few accessories are loose as well.

Complained to their HEAD OFFICE and to a Vandana(Gurgaon office) who claimed to be a senior executive about it immediatedly Thereafter complained several times as well.

Have been a very old customer of EUREKA FORBES but always has seen more of their corny ways.Even the seniors are only bothered about their sales and not customer satisfaction at the end!How will they survive in this present competitive market?They give a monetary incentive to their sales guy who try to sell their product hook or by crook.We never get see their service thereafter if things go wrong.I would like the Company to immediatedly solve my problem and take the sales guy to task.

I Purchased Eureka Forbes machine at M/s.Balasubramaniam stores, Nanganallur. At the time of installation, starting onwards continuously problems, Amount Rs.12300/=
1. There is contionusly water flow at the outlet pipe (blue colour) pipe.
2. Contionusly sound coming from inside the machine.
3. Your R&D of the this particular machine totally failure.
4. Eight litre capacity of the machine, overflow of the water.
5. Continuously water flow of the machine for outlet.
6. I bought two days before these much of the problem, we have been faced.
7.If you are replace the machine well and good. Take immediate action.
Advantage

1. Drinking water is very good quality that is the only advantage.

On 22/8/2008 i requested for candles checking and replacement. I was told that mechanic shall report on 23/8/2008. but nobody reported . Again i requested for thesame through [protected]. I wastold person shall report 26/8/2008. Again reminded twice on 26/8/2008.

I totally agree with this. I wish there was a way in which the pathetic customer service of Eureka Forbes can be made more public. I think the company should be forced to close down manufacturing Aqua Sure (and maybe other products as well) and return our money. We bought Aqua Sure about 8 months back. We had problems getting it to work. From then till now, we have been calling the customer service (at least 30 times). They keep promising that someone will come the very next day but no one has turned up yet. I feel terribly cheated and agitated. We spent about 1800 rs for nothing. I am now trying to find a way in which I can sue the company.

On the time of installation he assured me that he will provide me invoice after 2 or 3 days... but it is very strange that. Now yet I have never received any invoice of my product. I have already made the complete payment of the product. If this kind of deficiency Is happening in the services how the customer believe on the sales guy.

I purchased Aquaguard RO in the month of April from a sales person from Aquaguard named VEERA MANIGANDAN from chennai. I called him after 3 months since he had not given me Cashbill for the purchase. But, since he knew my number he did not pickup the phone in the first time, and because of repeated calling he attended the phone and when enquired about the bill he asked me to contact the Head Office and disconnected the phone immediately. (This is the way they treat their customers).

The Head office is even worse. I called them 2months back asking for the bill but still there is no response till this date.

I suspect they are doing illegal sales and preventing themselves from paying tax. The After Sale Service is the poorest which i have ever seen in my life. so PLEASE DO NOT BUY EUREKA FORBES PRODUCTS AT ANY COST...

We have purchased Aquagaurd, two months back. During installation, it was observed that some of the parts are not received, which was not informed to us by the technician and the installation was done with the existing parts. Latter on, we ourselves have realized this, by watching the same in the neighborhood and called their Vijayawada office branch head and team leader. The response was so rude and either of them are so reluctant to visit us to rectify the problem. Rather, they are asking us to visit their place and give a written complaint, as the sales person, who made the sale is no more in the organization. I am so diguised with the kind of reply given. for the following reasons:
1. The Technician should not have done the installation, without receiving the full set of instrument.
2. At least, he should have informed us the fact (intentions are very clear, ie., to cheat the customer)
3. Team leader asked us to talk to the branch head, which should be done by him.
4. Team Leader's language was so rude and he was using filthy language
5. TL is more interested in new installations than to sort out the problems of the existing customers.
6. Branch head's response was also not satisfactory and the whole team response was tuned to rudeness.

At last they said that we have to give a written complaint, which has to be submitted in their office. Funny thing is that, they have asked us to mention about all the parts missing (They might be expecting me to be a Eureka Forbes service engineer) They are not bothered to visit the place to see what actually the problem is.

The water is not coming out of the Unit. I made the complaint to your local center on 02-04-2008 at 10.27 AM through telefone . My area fals in singrauli regsion of Madhya Pradesh (India)The Service Engineer Mr. Surendra Vishwakarma visited our premises to repair the Instrument.after inspection it was found that the carbon unit & fabric filter both is chocked. He just washed the fabric filter & put it back to the unit. I told him that pl. chek the carbon unit too. But he replies that Sir, no need to see that. It is ok.I asked again "how you can say this?" He told"Sir by our experience". After washing the fabrik filter unit does not gives satisfactory service again. I told him again then he replies No No its ok sir. After 4-5 days i lodged complaint again but their is no response till yet. I already have the service contract for two years which will go to expire on 24th may 2008, Previously Mr. Bagish Tiwari was service Engineer & he gaves very good service. But since Mr. Vishwakarma has taken the charge of service engineer, the service provided by your company is not satisfactory. For this complaint, I have contacted your local call office in Singrauli on today [protected]) at about 01.30 PM, One of your call center Executive attended the call and assured me that the Service Engineer will attend your repair to-day itself. But Nobody turned up even after 3 days, I have contacted again. & your executive answered very lethargically that what can I do for the Service Engineer has not attend your repair. I have suffered with mental agony and I am in doubt that when my instrument get repaired. What is the use in putting the service Contract for not doing the service in right time. Is this a way towards consumer. Therefore, I have no other go except to approach the Consumer Court.

The strategy of selling Eureka machines is through cheating and misguiding customers. I had purchased a AG - RO machine No. 8024982 (Order no.- 026653)for water purification on 07-05-07. The sales executive Mr. Pyarelal Meena had told us that a lifetime on site warranty scheme is going on and we must grab this opportunity.

We asked, what is life time warranty? He says you need not go for AMC it will be automatically care of; but we must pay for spare parts. We opted for the scheme.

After a great deal of persuasions we got a letter for free after sales service but with a rider that it must be brought to there service centre. We contacted Mr. Pyarelal Meena and he talked in round about manner.

Now the service engineer comes and suggest that we must enter the AMC and blames sales executive Mr. Pyarelal Meena for misguiding us for purchasing the RO system.

Is this not a marketing practice by CHEATING? Please suggest what should I do?

Then one person Mr. Suresh (Mobile no -[protected]) around 19.02.08 or 20.02.08 came & inspected the machine & gave up a quotation in his own hand writing for repairing (PCB-600/- + P.R-130/- + Candle- 450/- +Service Charge- 250/- Total Rs. 1430/-) & 900/- for AMC. He demanded entire money in cash except AMC by cheque.

The above fact is visibly exposing your company’s inability to manage your dealers / service centres.

At our Managing Director home also one of your Authorized Service Centre cheated him. His AMC contract was getting over by 3.10.2007, then also while called your service centre for installing machine at new home, they didn’t turned up, we made various complaints to the company & Authorized Service Centre. But no one helped. Then our Managing Director was compelled to give contract of AMC to one of your another service centre. (Although service was due upto 03.10.07, He was compelled to renew a contract from12.07.2007.

It clearly shows your company’s inability to manage services to the customers.

Kindly make up good the following losses suffered by us, due to the negligence of your company.

1) Get us repaired our furniture. (India Images Entertainment & Software Ltd)
2) Get us repaired the machine upto date (India Images Entertainment & Software Ltd)
3) Give us back our 4 month’s contract not allowed by your dealer while shifting to new home.
4) Filter Water acquisition cost from 04.10.07 to 30.04.08

(a) From 04.10.07 to 31.12.07 = 560*3= 1680/-
(b) From 01.01.08 to 30.04.08 = 560*4= 2240/-

Total 3920/-

Failing the same we will be compelled to file a suit in Consumer Court for the same & take other actions.

I am having a very pathetic experience with Eureka Forbes. Their service is just pathetic. Everytime I need a service personnel, I have to call them 5-6 times before soemone turns up. And then they come up with unique offers. With bill, without bill, AMC and many more. Some times they even send someone who doesn't understand a bit of english. How can a North Indian like me, cope with these kind of people?

Now I am having another round of interaction with EF and same experience this time too. After calling for 7 times an asking for someone who can install the unit in my new house, service it( as EF never sent anyone for servicing in the guaranty period) they are asking me to pay twice for 2 people. One for installation and the other for servicing. and everytime they will charge me 250. This they made clear at the first place. It was only when the first person turns up and installs the system, he said he cannot do servicing of the unit and a second person will visit. Is this the way EF is miniting money? You can come to me and I can give you better advice free of charge to make money without incurring people's curses. Way to go for EF...

I work as a Program Manager for DELL & recently I purchased Aqua Guard Gold Nova Water filter.

I’m Not very happy with after Sales service + Incorrect expectations set by the sales executive Mr. Rajesh (+[protected]).

During the day of Demo(dated 4th April 08) the Sales person gave information about product + informed life time free service (provided the product is carried to the Eureka Forbes office) if Not after 2 free service Rs. 250/= per service call (Once in every 6 months).

The Sales person told us that he will give it in writing about life time free service + promised Ugade gift voucher, Since I wanted time to think & decide about the product he left the product at my place & agreed to come on Tuesday Dated 8th April to collect my Credit Card info + Installation. The Sales representative came early 10 AM in the morning, collected my Credit card details & informed that he Installation Engineer would come later today in the afternoon to install the product & would bring the Sales Receipt + Ugade gift voucher.

I was in the office, My Dad refused to sign the charge slip which Installation Engineer requested, because we didn’t get what we were promised, life time free service in writing + Sales Receipt + Ugade gift voucher.

When I called the Mr. Rajesh (Sales representative) he told me that he is busy now & will call later but didn’t heard till 6:30pm, I called him & informed he is Not keeping his word as No callback was done as promised + why was Sales Receipt + Ugade gift voucher + life time free service was Not given in writing as requested.

The Person was so mean & irresponsible, there was No apology instead gave an excuse that he was busy & will come tomorrow to my House & hand over all these things.
Next day the guy came in the afternoon & handed over a small piece of paper in which my name was written incorrectly + product name + code, This was handed over to my Mother in my absence as I was in the office & my Father was in the Shop. I didn’t knew anything till I reached home late that night, Next day I saw that small piece of paper which made me very angry & when I called the Sales Representative says that is the Company Sale receipt + Ugade gift voucher Not in stock & will get in another 1-2 days.

Till date I have been trying continuously to contact Mr. Rajesh (+[protected]) who is least bothered to receive my call & disconnects immediately. If I had a clue about after Poor & Appaling Sales Service I wouldn’t have purchased this product.

I have also Noticed today that there is No Warranty card inside the box believe it’s missing. Kindly advise on this.

Let me make it very clear I’m a very Nice Customer if any Company tries to take me for a ride or any kind of Harassment I will certainly give them a Nice Peace of Mind as I worked as a Customer Relations for DELL earlier (Deals with UK/Ireland Consumer Right Terms & Conditions). I’m very well aware of Indian Consumer Rights + also I’m a member of International Consumer Rights Protection Council.

Which place do you stay in Jogi? If you are in Bangalore, then your complaint is pretty much faced by everyone. Bangalore and that too Eureka Forbes, totally screwed. I have myself faced issues with these people.

I entered into an AMC for my water purifier i-nova on specific understanding with the terms clearly mentioned on the contract. Subsequently the local office refused to accept the terms and condition as specified in black and white. A complaint was lodged with your Bangalore Office on 14.12.2008. A few days later the incharge of the local service centre, one Mr. Taneja telephoned and promised to inquire into the matter and revert. And that is the end to the story as Mr. Taneja has not reverted until the time of writing this note.
I am therefore, pained to confirm that all other complaints mentioned above are true and myself also feel cheated.
